I found it without a problem a little confusing about where to park trucks when you're there on off hours so maybe some signage tell you where you're supposed to be parking the vehicle

People at the pick up location 127, lee road are good! But the problem is with the people who assigned the location after I reserved it online . They Better inform about the location in advance to see if I am comfortable with it. I didn’t get a call or an email until Friday afternoon and that is also after I called. The agents at the center who assign the location should be more responsible. Then the U- share app sucks ! I reserved it at 4.30 am and I went there at 4.50 am. Guess what, the mobile app didn’t work. The GPS didn’t find my phone or some glitch in the system. So I had to wait till 8.30 am until the store opened. That changed the whole day plan for me. I wouldn’t reserve it early morning unless I needed it! Pretty bad experience.

You don't have to do anything to improve your service at this location. The young men in Watsonville were knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I felt confident pulling away that the truck and trailer were in great condition for the crosscountry road trip.

Uhaul did not have my unit at the original location when promised.. This was extremely disappointing. Uhaul directed me to an alternate location, 30 miles away, that had a unit available. Your agent was very helpful. This saved me from a disaster but caused a schedule conflict with my movers. Fortunately, Watsonville Self Storage was able to come through for me at the last minute. Uhaul needs to do a better job having units available when promised.

If I needed a 7500 hitch for the veh I was going to tow which took a 2and 3/8 ball yet none of your trailers would accept a ball that big, so after spending $40 for that, I couln't use it after all. So if I had to buy this and then couldn't use it I just wasted $40.

The reservations made for the Pod containers & trailer was incorrect and very inconvenient for our move. A two pod trailer was not available at this location. The inconvenience of having to drive to two locations was awful. I should not have to do that if the reservation were set in place. Uhaul did nothing to accommodate us. When you are moving and meeting deadlines the last thing you need is your moving equipment to be incorrect by Uhaul. How does this happen? Your service is to provide moving solutions. We were very upset, this should not happen to anyone else. It was a nightmare. One person to thank is Ivan from the Watsonville location. Thank god for his swift thinking and wonderful service. He called us personally to let us know of the discrepancies with our order. We would have driven one hour out to discover we has no trailer for our two pod. When we contacted Uhaul to rectify our matter they continued to transfer us to location that did not have what we needed. Why is there such a disconnect between customer service and actual location?? The location NEVER answer and then you get rerouted to CS again. Which they have no clue! Ivan is the only one that EVER answer his phone. I feel we need to be compensated somehow. I still have NOT received a call backs from any manager For multiple requests from locations in San Jose, Curtner, and the customer service manager. We had an awful experience with Uhaul. I hope when you ever move 500 miles away that you are NOT treated with such bad service. We will NEVER use Uhaul to move, rent or store our personal belongings. Retraining in much needed between both your departments.

This was the most stressful and unpleasant experience we've ever had with a moving company. The box was five days late and no one could give us any reliable information on it. We weren't even notified of a shipping delay! If we had known it didn't ship out the day it was promised, we would have figured out a different solution for us. My husband spent his last night home before deployment rushing his deployment gear to the carrier because we didn't get the box until 5 o'clock, eleven hours, before his leave expired. No one claimed responsibility, no one could help us, we had no recourse, and everyone blamed every one else. The only person who made an effort to keep in communication was Terry in the Fremont office. The transportation company called to deliver it on Sunday and was told that location doesn't accept them on. Sunday after we were assured it would be accepted. Uhaul is a poor excuse for a moving company and we will be sure to tell ALL of our friends/family/clients/military acquaintances about this horrible experience. Your $50 a day late fee doesn't make up for the hours we spent on the phone trying to track down our box, or the family time my husband missed the night before he left. Shame on you, U-haul.

This rental was booked in Morgan Hill and then switched to Watsonville with no phone call. The truck smelled like cigarettes. It took about an additional 3 hours out of my day, including 25 miles winding miles EST mlsch way.

No bait and switch tactics! We ordered a smaller truck but had to either use the largest one (more gas, harder to drive) or pick up the truck at a much more distant location. This is called "bait and switch." Obviously, the day of our move we couldn't use another company.

Provide wider mirrors on every u haul and a back up camera that shows what's behind the vehicle kind of like the Toyota Prius has in its cars. Cargo hold should have plenty of lighting and should have a more modular criss cross way of securing cargo rather than letting things shift around damaging cargo

Perhaps a little more clarity on the completion of the rental agreement for times (like mine) when I had to use the drop box for returning the contract upon the completion of my use of the rental. I went away thinking a bit: "So, they'll know I turned this in on time? I won't get charged more?...etc. Thank you.

the movers that were recommended and paid for through the U-Haul website did not show up for the delivery. I had driven 75 miles to meet the guy at the delivery location and ended up on the phone with U-Haul for 45 mins trying to arrange for another mover to come deliver my container. I ended up having to pay $56 more for this other moving company and completely screwed up my day.

Rented a 10 foot truck for 3200 mile east coast to CA move. Truck design and function was perfect for the task. Able to move with gas included for about $1 per mile. MIrrors did not adjust up or down for tall person curtailing the distance visible. Barely comfortable for a 6' 2" driver with constant bending down to checking lanes for traffic. Overall great rental.

Ivan, on site is exceptional. excellent customer service. my uhaul-recommended movers caused extensive damage. not the young men who carried my things, they were great. but the boss, who loaded my things, did so in ways that resulted in several pieces being irreparably damaged, including a canvas painting, a large area rug, dining chairs and bookcases.

The tow dolly was very easy to use-loading was a breeze, and it towed very easily. Easy to maneuver- I've not been able to do a U-turn with other dollys. The lights were a great feature, I didn't know they were included in the dolly. Thanks again!

The worst service ever in Watsonville! They didn’t bother calling until the morning of scheduled delivery to tell us that they “can’t deliver to that street”? After I have a crew hired waiting to load the box! Had to find someone to pick it up! Worst customer service ever!!!! Now on the other end in Texas the service was very professional!

My moving date was changed the day before making me have to move out of town, theb a second time in the early morning xhanged agsin eothout kotice. Maybe its nit theur peoblem, but Youhaul cist ke an additiinal $300 fir dekays, sending me to 2 other locations, (not the 1 I chose to upgrade to), 17th or 7th Ave then downtown which delayed my early olanned movers, costing me several hundred they required due to the delay, and a very late return, forcing me to return the truck without gassing up, charged $150 for. I think this is a good location but that Uhaul should reimburse me for my losses financially. I'd never recommend Uhaul and their movers put of this area again.

After the trailer wasn't there at the location in Santa Cruz, Ca that I had reserved it at, I was told there was one in Watsonville, 30 min away, which closed in 40 min. Plus the Watsonville dealer was apprised of our coming. We arrived with 5 min to spare, but they were closed. The trailer was parked out in front, I called the national number to see if we could take it. they said yes if we took to the other Watsonville location to check our hook up. we did fine. The irritation was when we were done with the trailer in Santa Cruz, we were required to take the trailer all the way back to Watsonville. So, we wasted, two men, 2.5 hours each, a total of five Man hours. At $20 an hour, this exceeds our rental cost.

Every single member of your staff was knowledgeable and extremely courteous, they were also incredibly helpful. Your email updates to us were timely and accurate.
