The truck was parked next to a dumpster and an old couch that had to moved to make room for the truck. Tony was suppose to set us up on Friday so we could pick up the truck Sunday but never did. I finally called him Sunday and he wanted to do the paperwork Monday morning, which took forever, about 45 minutes. He was blaming the Uhaul computer system but I'm not so sure.GEOFF G.

I was moving from Newcastle Wyoming to Cuyuna Minnesota. I had to drive all the way to Brainerd Minnesota from Wyoming to get a 26 foot truck. When I arrived I asked for a round trip rate. Instead I was charged 39,95 $ per day and 1,29 $ per mile. When I started the truck the check engine light was on. I informed the attendant and he didn't know what to do. He said to drive the truck and if a problem just call the 800 number. The warning light was going on and off the entire trip. I was so stressed driving all those miles with that light coming on. When I returned the truck I showed the attendant that the rate should be 0,79 per mile and asked why I was charged 1,19 $ per mile. He said it's due to truck shortage. I take that as price gouging when the posted price is not honored. I rented the 26' truck plus two enclosed trailers I would either like a discount/refund for the difference between 0,79 per mile, the posted rate, and 1,19 $ per mile. Never gave any help on how to hook up. I walked outside to try and hook up and walked back to office 5 minutes later and sign on door will be back later. Never rented a U-Haul before, also it was parked on a slope so every time I tried to lift and hook it would roll back.MIKE S.

I had parked my equipment in a row of other uhaul's behind the building and was planning on returning the keys during business hours because I couldn't find the return key box the night that I parked the truck. (This was Sunday night when I parked the truck and my truck was not due back until TUESDAY) The following morning I recieved 2 angry voicemails as well as an email scolding me that there were "NO KEYS!" When I returned the calls I spoke with a very rude man named Tony who said "I need the keys because its parked in a spot that doesn't belong to me." I made sure the truck was parked in line with a FLEET of other Uhaul's and it was DIRECTLY behind his building, I also apologized several times for the mix up and said I would get him the keys as soon as possible. I sent my mom to return the keys (because I'm 6 months pregnant and couldn't walk the day after moving) when she arrived he made her WAIT while he was ordering a sandwich for lunch!! Tony ought to work on his customer service skills a bit, and probably not yell at someone to turn in the keys and then make them WAIT for his sandwich order when they arrive. My equipment was returned ahead of schedule and parked out of the way. There was absolutely no need for his pissy attitude. Every customer service representative from Uhaul that I spoke with over the phone were wonderful and helpful. But the employees at both the pick up and (especially) the drop off location were TERRIBLE. I would not recommend Uhaul just based on the experience in both locations. If I could give the drop off location 0 stars I would.Hannah D.

Promised a 26 then told not available. At least 4 calls to Uhaul supervisor for clarification. Two visits 1,5 hrs total to rent. Not knowledgeable about Uhaul programs, services, policies. Polite but completely unprofessional. Location appearance an immediate red flag. Would have to belive this location is the antithesis of how Uhaul would like to be perceived.SCOTT C.

Not very much space. There should not be a U-Haul Location there. I had to back the trailer roughly 500ft down a alley Between two buildings with a U-Haul I truck and trailer in the way. then around a 90 degree s curve at the end to get the trailer in the parking spot.Anthony C.
