Your questions are focused on the pick up and drop off locations. They are NOT your main problem. 1) Your website does not allow creating an account when using the Safari web browser (more secure than most). It just endlessly loops asking you to enter data over and over. Given that you have made it necessary to have account to do many things, this is not helpful. As a result it was necessary to call and talk to one of your agents. 2) When you call to talk to someone the wait times are 45 minutes or longer. Once you actually get through to someone they are helpful, but the wait time is quite irritating. I expect that the agents deal with a lot of people frustrated by the wait time. 3) Your online chat also has long wait times to get an agent - 45 minutes or longer. I gave up on this, so have no idea if it is a worthwhile channel for communication. 4) I kept getting text messages from U-Haul asking me to consider towing a trailer from Calgary, AB to various locations in Ontario. The longest would have added 800 plus miles to my trip and extended it by 2 days. The cost of gas, extra days using truck and extra mileage fees would have exceeded what you were offering me. Absolute worst customer service I have ever received, I will definitely NEVER be choosing Uhaul again, and recommending to friends they choose any service but this one. The staff were rude, condescending and unclear. My reservation was from 5-7 pm yesterday but the location was closed and I was unable to drop it off. They told me to return at 10 the next day, but as a normal working person I was unable to come in until my lunch break. They did not make it clear AT ALL that if I didn't return it at ten the next day that they would charge me for another day, but now I am paying double what it should have costed me. I would have rearranged my work schedule to make 10 am work if they had just told me. Furthermore, the website should have told me that they would be closed and not allowed me to book the drop off, but instead I had to take time out of my work day to be slandered by Jinko and Jerry at this location. I will be posting other reviews for this business elsewhere online unless this situation is made right. Terrible service and extremely disappointed in how I was treated at the car wash.Katie S.

Could've explained the charges a lot better to me when I was renting the u-haul...felt like there were a lot of fees I wasn't told about at the beginning of the rental..ended up paying double to cost of my rental when returning...was surprised by that...gaelle V.

Staff is completely unreliable. Had to wait for someone to arrive at pickup and drop off. Had to keep the truck overnight because the staff wasn't on site at the pre determined drop off time. Was still charged for fuel costs even though I was forced to keep possession of the vehicle and take it a longer distance than desired. No accountability from the staff.Shaun B.

My comments are for U-haul customer services: My experience was below expectations and very disappointing. Made an online reservation ahead of the day with information that I have a guaranteed truck for my move. Upon arrival, there was none. The representative was not helpful at all, not giving any options that could help. Thankfully the team at the car wash got a â€œlate truckâ€ and was able to give it to me. I had professional movers and other people booked to help me and this situation was very stressful. U-haul owe me a $50 refund as per agreed on the phone which I have not seen yet on my credit cardSTEPHANIE D.
The shop associate from where I picked the truck from did not inform that the shop does not take returns a date 6pm as they are closed, my truck rental was from 4:15pm-8:15pm. I was asked to take the truck the back to my new apartment where I did not have any parking space, so I had to hunt for one and it took around 45 minutes to get one. And then when I went back to return the truck in the morning the shop associate was complaining about how I was ate in returning the truck and she was being considerate to me. This whole experience has spoiled my trust in U-hual as a company.Gurprit S.

I highly disappointed with experience with your company due to the following reasons: - Your representative setup pickup time at 9am even though location opens at 10am. When I asked, does this location has mobile pickup, I was told yes. As a result, I had to wait for more than 1 hour under the rainfall to pickup my truck. - when I called to figure out why location was closed, another representative assured me that this location does not have mobile pickup BUT it does have after hours returns so I should not worry about my time and return truck any time I want. Guess what? This was not true either. Location closes at 6pm - Uhaul representative at location was late 15mins and didn't even apologize - Parking place at this location is terrible. You need to be professional truck driver to be able to park there. Overall, I being a first time user of your services expected better experience with your company. The information they entered for us was incorrect, which made it super difficult to correct, before getting to our destination. When we tried to call the number provided, we were put on hold for a long time and again, the information that was entered by the call center agent was incorrect. We wasted a lot of time and energy, until everything was closed. The next morning somebody called us and accused us of lying and threatened to charge us an extra $599. This was the worst experience EVER!!!EMILY L.
I was extremely pleased with the overall experience of the truck rental, especially considering there were some unforseen delays in moving household goods of a friend of my daughter to a storage location. I was able to extend the rental a day and a half with a minimal service charge (even though the truck was scheduled for another customer) .I really appreciated that U-Haul was able to accommodate my needs.DAVID D.
