We made the reservation twice. The first day no one was at the facility for pick up. We moved the reservation to the following day because it was Veterans Day and they apparently didn't notify UHaul corporate that they were closed. Well, we arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled time and there was no one there. We waited for 45 minutes and there was no one at the location, the doors were locked, lights off ...closed. We saw a cardboard sign in the window with just a phone number on it. I called the number and it rang about 9 times and someone answered the phone like we had called their house in the middle of dinner. They acted like they were put out by us calling. I explained the situation and that we were trying to pick up a trailer that we reserved and that no one was there. She said I'll dispatch it then. 15 minutes later a man pulled up in a truck and approached our vehicle asking if he could help us. We explained what we were doing and he said "Oh, well I don't know if I can help but I'll try. We walked inside the building where he proceeded to ask me what my trailer number was, whether or not the trailer had been dispatched to me and told me to call a sales manager (I believe that's who it was) There was clearly a mass confusion as to who I was and why I was calling the gentleman and he kept asking me to basically rent the trailer out myself since the man that was at the location didn't know what was going on. He walked me through the entire reservation and check-in all over again. Finally, about an hour received the trailer, which had no jack so we were having to use a concrete block instead. He didn't want to go through the process to change the trailer that was dispatched to another unit that was behind a bunch of trucks so we just used the unit that was issued. We discussed that we would be returning it after hours and they said it was fine and to drop the keys in the box by the door when we returned and follow the instructions for return. We didn't have keys because it was a trailer but that was the least of our concerns at that point. We returned it that evening and tried to check it in through the procedure on their door and it wouldn't allow us to check it in. I then had to contact corporate in which I was told to follow up with the location in the morning to ensure that it was checked in properly. I called 8 times and never got a response. The following day I called several times and still no response. The phone just rang off the hook. Frankly, at this point, I don't know if it ever got checked in or if the location even knows that it was in fact returned. The entire experience was a bit of a nightmare, to say the least.

I am quite sure Mike the guy at uhaul had no clue the front end was so messed up on the truck. Average speed was 45 mph for 500 miles took us a whole extra day to drive.

He treated us with upmost courtesy went over truck with us before we left and we returned that evening. It was late we called him and he advised to leave keys in drop box due to inclimate weatherWe highly recommend this company

The staff was EXCELLENT, but they were not open upon my return, so I had to unhook and leave the trailer in the freezing rain with no help - had I known it was not going to be open, I would have brought help with me. They can not accept cash refunds on deposits - again, not their fault, but a HUGE pain in the rear, as we planned other errands based around getting the cash deposit back at the time of return. There are TWO different uhauls, one can accept trailers, one can not. The Austin place obviously did not know this. I had a very hard time returning the trailer, but all because the pick up place didn't have the information they needed.

This location is great, it was just unfortunate that we were hoping to rent from Bryan/College Station area, and we only decided to move because we thought we would get the truck in Navasota (25 miles away). However, we did not receive any notification, but in fact, we called UHaul and were told we had to go to Cameron, TX (45 miles away). No fault on this location, but rather fault on UHaul in general. Please be better at communicating the first time around.

The pick up location was great. We were in a bit of a bad spot with having a flat tire. The pick up location employee (maybe owner) was awesome. He got us fixed up and and saved me a 2 hour round trip to go get my own trailer.

Find a new location to rent u hauls. There was no bathroom. It took an hour and a half for a reserved trailer pickup. I was the only one renting anything at that time. The location was beyond disgusting. They had no extra equipment for rent. When I told the gentleman I had a reservation he had to call someone and then wait for them to call back to verify the rental. It was a super ridiculously horrific experience.
