Got the uhaul after 1 hour wait time at the location due to the computer service down. After getting it got 2 tires flat while moving my stuff. Wasted a lot of time in theae issues

I had great customer service from my Whitestown pick up location. I'd had an issue at drop off and he reached out to me to make sure it was corrected to my satisfaction! A regional manager in GA also stepped in and took care or the situation.

U-Haul National needs to update the software so it doesn't take so long. Online check-in didn't work, so went in store and it took almost 30 minutes to get me checked in from providing reservation # to getting the keys. The software is archaic and needs an overhaul or faster servers. It's not a location problem because it happens at every location I've used.

Truck in poor condition. Broken side mirror, no windshield washer fluid, no working wipers! Drove thru blizzard like conditions with road salt all over windshield. Thankful to reach home in one piece.

Have the people renting the equipment, treat you like you are a human being, and that you are not beneath them, they seemed completely uninterested, and made me feel like I was a peasant. If this wasn't the only place that was close to me, I would've walked out the door. I wouldn't even buy gas from these people or a snicker bar.

Less than stellar experience. Some of this is the store's fault, but I also realize some of this was out of their control. I reserved a 24/7 pickup for the Whitestown location. Upon my on-time arrival, the app said some equipment had not been assigned and to call for help. Customer service quickly helped resolve the issue, but I was not longer able to utilize 24/7 pick up and would need to wait an hour for the store to open (thankfully it was only an hour) and pick up the rental with the associate inside. I did receive a $50 credit because the rental wasn't ready when I arrived. About 15 mins later I got a call from the store saying my rental was ready and I could come to pick it up. The associate was only doing his job, but proceeded to verbally confirm every detail on my reservation, which would not have been necessary had I been checking in using the app. He gave me the cost breakdown and I questioned if the $50 credit had been applied. He looked puzzled, and I explained this was supposed to. E a 24/7 pick up and the rental wasn't ready when I arrived. The associate told me I was wrong; that the rental was ready earlier (he had been at the store well before our pick up time); and that we didn't arrive on time. He told me that I had to call customer service about that but that he wouldn't issue a refund. (I did call after this ordeal, and customer service confirmed there would be a refund issued directly from them, after I paid the full price.). The associate handed me the keys and pointed out to the vehicles were parked and beckoned the next customer. I questioned if the accessories I had also reserved were in the truck already; he had to double check the reservation again to confirm there was something else I needed and told me to pull around to the store front and he would load everything for me. When I came back into the store I had to wait for the associate to help several other customers (it's a 24 hour gas station with one associate on the floor) before he could load my vehicle; he almost refused to load everything in because I had parked too far away from the entrane (handicapped parking were the only closer spaces) and I wasn't allowed to load everything up myself. Finally, I was in my way only to drive around the corner from the store when the check engine light came on. I returned to the store, explained the issue, and the associate asked me to wait for another person who was starting their shift to come in and help me. I only had to wait 5 mins for him to arrive, but he proceeded to help another customer before addressing my problem. He was able to assign me another vehicle, the last of that sized vehicle in their lot, and he came out and helped me move the accessories to the other vehicle. (His decency in helping me in the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1). In all, this whole ordeal took 1,5 hours. I should have been able to drive off the lot in 10-15 mins if I had been able to use the 24/7 pick up option.

I returned the truck and auto hauler at this location. Later my CC was charged $36,59 for "Car Rental". I can only guess that this drop off location added gas and charged me for it erroneously. Actually the gas was just above the 1/2 mark on the gauge, i.e. above the necessary amount. I am wondering why U-Haul has this requirement anyway. I would like to know who benefits or suffers if a lessee puts in too much gas or too little. Good question for an attorney. OK, so I'm a little bitter...

Didn't have the correct truck I reserved. Told me to go out of my way to another location to get one. Wild customer service and problem solving skills on your part. Gave me a way smaller truck the morning of and a phone number to call.

Fuel was already 1/4 tank and they mentioned 5/16. We just ran 11 miles and filled 1 gallon, you guys still charged for 2 more gallons. Hos that possible that economy of this truck is 3 miles per gallon. It s a sheer cheating.

The guy at the counter obviously didn't want to be there and was so unfriendly. The location didn't have the dolly we needed even though we had reserved it. Overall, I'll go back to the Michigan Rd U-Haul location to rent again instead of renting at the Whitestown location again.

I picked the truck up at 9:15am on 9/26/2023. I return the truck on the same day at approximately 4:30 pm. However, the rental receipt says the truck was return at 9:00 pm. on 9/28/2023. I was over changed $82,34 for the extra day. I called Whitestown Marathon on 9/30/2023 to discuss the overcharge. I was told I would receive a refund for the over change on my Credit Card. At this time I'm asking for a refund of $102.34. An additional $20 for the time I've spent researching, discussing and verifying the overcharge.

Kyle Campbell provided excellent customer service. The online reservation system did not indicate that the trailer I needed was available. Nevertheless, Kyle was able to process the reservation for me when I visited the store in person since the trailer I needed was present at this location.

Easy after hours drop off. It felt a little odd to drop the keys off by dropping them in a fish bowl that was just sitting out in the open on the counter.

I also left my personal 2 wheelee and ladder in truck and no one called me, as a matter of fact they've already rented it to someone else which I'm sure won't bring it back. I'm very pissed off. But I know no one checks or cleans trucks because ours was completely full (handfuls) of dog hair. So now I'm moving and I'm out 300 bucks worth of ladder and 2 wheeler hand truck of my own. Will not use uhaul ever again

The location was key for us - super convenient. Customer service was average at best. When we arrived at 9am, no one was at the counter. The agent was having a conversation outside the gas station with someone and it wasn't until we went outside and asked him to come in and check us in that he did so. When we dropped off around 2pm, he was taking a lunch or coffee break at a nearby table and just motioned to us to drop off the keys. We would have preferred to have a true check out rather than an email the next day, just a personal preference. The checkout email was what we expected.

Man behind the counter had the customer service skills of a cobra. Said all of two words to me the entire time, like I was a burden to him. Location isn't great, inside a gas station quick mart with a few shady characters lingering around. My wife was with me and I made her stay in the car and lock the doors, and I spent 20 years as a police officer! I've rented U-Hauls before in Noblesville, IN with very friendly and helpful staff. Your guy at this location was just an unconcerned, seemingly burnt out jerk who wanted to be anywhere else but where he was.

Horrible experience. Will never use Uhaul again. Constant location changes and upcharges that weren't explained properly. If I wouldn't have caught excess fees,I would've been charged twice. And was still charged $50 for gas when I only when 24 miles with no explanation as to why

The general manager was rude and had was using foul language towards me because he inconvenienced me. He didn't know how to do his job. He gave me a truck full of garbage someone previously left in the truck. Promised credits and the next day I bring the truck back he has an attitude. I have never experienced this type of behavior or treatment with uhaul but this gm needs to loose his job. Unprofessional, didn't know his job and used abrasive language . Uhaul has lost me as a customer.

The person we spoke to (Kyle?) stared at his phone for several minutes before addressing us. He stated that he was running for city council, and quickly demonstrated the work ethic of a politician. He stared blankly at me and said that no trucks were available, which simply was not true (we used the app and quickly made a reservation). After staring at the computer for 3 minutes, he clicked a single button and said that the system was having an issue and that we would not be able to rent a vehicle today. He asked where we were moving; after telling him, he said that it was a horrible place to live, then left his coworker (Caleb?) to finish the transaction. Caleb set us up with a vehicle very quickly by pressing several buttons on the computer at a normal pace. The vehicle was exceptional and the process was smooth where Kyle was not directly involved. Thanks Caleb. As for Kyle, his obvious passion for truck rental services will be impossible for U-Haul management to ignore.
