Need to conduct a visual inspection of equipment before taking possession. Not limited to this location. Had two rentals in the last week that had damage (one had headlight cover broken and other had piece of plastic loose in cab of truck) and there was nothing noted. I guess U-haul could have been attributed to me but I pointed it out before hand. Just a thought.

Roof leaked a huge amount of water inside the truck which in turn ruined all the bottom of the boxes taking a extra day to unpack each box individually

1st, the original reservation site in Clayton, GA, couldn't open its dealer site to rent us the truck. The District Manager had aparrently changed something on the PC and the tablet login didn't work either. Called UHaul and they transferred us to the Wiley location, another 7 or so miles south. Kathy was wonderful. Professional, attentive, customer focused. But we had reserved a 10-foot truck and the smallest she had was a 15-foot. $10 more, but UHaul's gaurantee wasn't appllied (not Kathy's fault; it was the system). We had also reserved an appliance dolly. However, the district manager had apparently been there the day before and removed several dollies, so the Wiley store had none. This was a MAJOR UHAIL FAIL. That and the fact that most of the local dealers between Cashiers, NC, and Toccoa, GA, don't like to inventory or rent 10- and 15-foot trucks. We've been married 34 years and moved more than a dozen times. Half were with UHaul equipment. This last experience will cause me to look elsewhere. After yesterday, I'd rather drive 50 miles to a Penske location than waste a half a day online with UHaul finding the equipment I needed only to have it not be available. Color me . . . pissed because minimum CS expectations weren't met.

We droppped off the truck after hours, and took photos but could not use online check in because it kept restarting our check in. We used the key drop. THey charged us a $30 convenience fee and for 10 gallons of gas! The tank was just as full as when I picked it up, and I have pics. They will not send me a pic of the tank after the 10 gallon fill. I am being cheated by these people. Linda was nice to my wife, but not helpful.
