I've used Uhaul multiple times in the past and it has been a fairly straight forward easy process. Today was anything but. I reserved a 10' truck about a week in advance at a different location. The day before the reservation uhaul called me to confirm everything. At the time I was told that they didn't actually have 10' at that location so they'd give me a 15 for the same price. No big deal whatever. I arrived at the pickup location and the guy behind the desk was extremely rude and said the truck we rented was not back yet. Apparently the previous customer extended their rental. I don't know why I was not told of any of this before. But he very rudely told us to call uhaul to see where the truck was. So we called and supposedly the customer was cleaning it out and bringing it back in 30 mins. So we said alright we will come back. I called about 35 mins later to ask if the truck had been returned and the guy from the location was rude once again and said I had to call uhaul. I was literally only asking if it was back. No need for the attitude. Called uhaul again and they called the other customer who said they were cleaning it out and should bring it back in 30 mins. So we gave up on that truck and a new reservation was made for me at this listed location for a mobile pickup. I am not a fan of using the app and we had a couple issues with it so all in all this was not a great experience. I will say that the representatives I talked to from uhaul were fairly nice and they did try to solve my problem. We were given enough extra miles to cover the extra driving we had to do. I understand that they can't control the other customer bringing it back but I wish someone had called to tell me the truck was not available. We could have saved a lot of time and driving if we'd been able to figure all of that out earlier in the day.

Bob DYour app was not user friendly. Took me 35 minutes to get the combination for the key. I had to call customer service for help. When I returned the truck went on app and after answering questions was given an error message. Had to call customer service again only to find out I had successfully finished. Very frustrating.

Christine CThe van was empty, which they did give a 21 dollar credit. The van was dirty, cupnholders sticky, there were some kind of pills under passenger seat. The front bumper is not secure, low tire light on. Manager would not answer call or text. Brought back cleaned and quarter tank of gas and was charged for additional miles but was told by district manager he would refund me 50 for all the issues. I have yet to receive it. I am a frequent renter, this was by far the worst experience.
Cary HHad to wait for someone to arrive at site. They were 15 minutes late. Van we rented had no gas and was not clean.

joseph wPut the dollies and furniture mats that the customer ordered in the truck. Make sure everything on the truck is in working order. From the moment I got the truck one of the tires was low on air. I tried filling it up multiple times come to find out there was a screw in it.
