Back of truck had no garbage visible but after removing our furniture, we realized there was a lot of sawdust on the floor of the truck that we had to then remove from our furniture. Easily missed by a quick glance but annoying to the next user. They should inspect the truck more carefully after each use.Hans S.
Maybe a discount should be offered if the rental is only a few hours as opposed to 24 hours. I rented for less than 4 hours and had to pay the full price for 24 hours. Merci.ESTHERMILAGROS D.

As a first time customer, the UHAUL renting process was a bit peculiar to me. I'm not sure why the information I was asked to fill out, could not be filled out prior to my reservation. Even though my reservation started at 10 A.M., I was asked to provide names and phone numbers of individuals that UHAUL needed to get in contact with, prior to the start of the reservation. Had I been able to give those names and numbers PRIOR to the start of the reservation, I wouldn't have spent 30 minutes in the parking lot, waiting for UHAUL to make contact with these people, on a Saturday morning, When I finally got through the vetting process, the van that I rented only had 3/8 of a tank of gas in it. Considering that the reservation was for 6 hours and UHAUL's policy was to NOT reimburse for overages of gasoline; I didn't have time to worry about running out of gas just to make sure my refill did not exceed 3/8 of a tank. Starting with a reservation, with a need to fill up the gas tank is not ideal. I would have preferred to start the reservation with a full tank and once I finished, I could have easily just filled it back up. This was not a great first experience.Eddy B.

I did realize I needed to but more gas on until I got back to the drop off and had to leave to put more in. It's probably in the details but I missed it. I would make it more prominent if you can. Otherwise it was easy to use the mobile chek in /check out.Deanna M.

I reserved the truck for 7AM using 24/7. They didn't have it ready. I had to wait until 8:00 when they opened They first told me I didn't have a reservation until I showed them my order. An hour and half after my scheduled time I was on the road. That made me extremely tight on time for what I needed the truck for. I have yet to see 24/7 actually work.Brian S.

No employees at Wit's wore masks! During a COVID this is unacceptable. Also, Uhaul lost my reservation, although that probably was Wit's fault too because I called them to change my reservation. Using Wit's was a bad experience.ROBERT T.

This was not my scheduled pickup location and was an hour away from my home. I was notified of this change the day before pickup. My movers had to be rescheduled to come a day later which also caused me problems in returning the vehicle on time. I had already made hotel arrangements as well. Everything was affected by one last minute change you made on my pickup location. Please don't allow pickup locations to change last minute if at all possible. It creates terrible problems in scheduling for the customer.Sheila M.

I will never use U-Haul again! I reserved a trailer to move long distance a week in advance. We where to pick up the trailer on a Monday. U-Haul calls Sunday to tell us the trailer is not at the location. We can pick one up an hour away from us. I asked to have them drive the trailer from the other location to the location it was suppose to be at. Well it was Sunday and both locations were closed. We started calling around the area and found a trailer closer to our location. We were told that U-Haul can't guarantee trailers will be at the location you reserve it for . Then WHY are you taking reservations. Why would U-Haul wait untill Sunday to call us about this issue knowing locations were not open. Why would you not make sure trailers are where they should be. U-Haul made a stressful situation 10 times more stressful. The staff at the locations were nice friendly and not an issue. The trailer was in good condition.JODYA M.

i called u-haul at 3pm 1/11 to confirm when drop off Wits was open until. I was told 5pm. They were closed when i got there at 4:20pm. i called UHaul rep, downloaded uhaul app to return the truck, but couldn't use it because I didn't receive the verification code via email for three hours. it was after 7:30pm when the email came thru. I was charged for extra fuel, even though i filled it to the exact spot on the fuel gauge that I received the truck with. I have pictures before and after of fuel gauge and odometer along with fuel receipt. And to make it worse, there was a Uhaul location within 3 miles of my NY address, but i was told to drive to Wits Garage, which was 30 MINUTES further from the closest UHaul return facility. if you're interested, you can call me to discuss how many times the rental pick up location, time, and truck size changed before 1/11/2020.... which was somehow done without my call or request. Horrible experience, and it's not over, because i have to now call someone to dispute a 7 $fuel charge. really???? Jim Bertini Cell 203-819-1850James B.
