Uhaul had to be parked on the side of a road with no staff around, no gate around, and homeless people around the area. Would be very easy for the equipment to get stolen and the operator to be blamed.Tim S.
This is my third or fourth time using U-haul in Denver and it's always been a headache as the truck I reserve is never ready and my reservation either gets cancelled or they move me to another location. I truly appreciate Naomi and Dave's help as they went above and beyond to make sure I was still able to rent a truck near my original location and refunded me $50 for not having my reservation ready at the location I chose. The other person I spoke to who I cannot remember their name was extremely rude and dismissive, even though my pick up was self reserve/mobile check in, I wasn't given any information as to HOW to obtain the truck. The location I went to literally didn't have anyone working, the door was locked, I called the number for the location and of course the number is disconnected (this has happened to me at least a few times before when I attempted to rent a truck from Uhaul). I wasn't given the lock box code ahead of time, I had to call to obtain it, I couldn't login and retrieve the information because the website wasn't working and when I returned the truck I could not do the mobile return because the website again wasn't working and I had to call Dave to make sure they received everything. I truly don't like to complain, but using Uhaul in Denver has been nothing but a major headache every time. I am not new to using Uhaul, I used it countless times in Florida and never had any issues, there was an actual Uhaul building with people who work for Uhaul in them and Uhaul trucks outside. I rented a truck from Home Depot before and now I will continue to do so as I prefer to deal with professionalism and whenever I reserve a truck with them it's always available otherwise they don't allow you to reserve one.ASHLEY F.
This is a small location with a trailer as an office and a fenced in lot. When we arrived the gate was locked (could not access truck) with a small/hidden sign with a phone number to call. We lost quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to get to our assigned truck (parked behind other trucks and behind the locked gate) before even noticing the number to call to then wait for someone to drive over to help .Erika Y.
There was no one there!!! Directions to WMC were not helpful. Talked to a guy on the phone who tried to help. Ended up leaving truck in front of gate and put key and contract in a lockbox. This was a very unpleasant way to end our trip!!GARY P.

The equipment was defective and dangerous-the road service people were excellent, but your maintenance standards make for dangerous equipment that you lease.Michael G.
Horrible experience picking up vehicle. Took over 30 minutes to get, including 25 minutes on the phone on hold waiting to talk to customer service. Kept getting told to go to the counter - there was no counter- the vehicle was parked outside of a building with no one at the address. Ordered and paid for a furniture dolly - no furniture dolly was in the truck - made moving the furniture almost unbearable.Mark F.
