Jeff SYou can expect to wait on hold for at least 30 minutes with Uhaul customer service. Totally unacceptable.
David HA dolly was rented, and I called a few days ahead only to find that they didn't have a dolly. We had to pick it up from a different location and the directions were not clear about drop off or the charges made. Overall poor service. Although online check-in is nice, editing options are not there for additional supplies.

JANICE BI tried to do the online/contactless pickup at Wondermart but it seems to be in some kind of internet dead zone. Even though my phone and my husband's phone showed 3-4 bars, neither of us could get a connection to the internet. I could not pull up any site, let alone the U-Haul website, no maps, nothing. The clerk inside said the service didn't work. I didn't get a connection until I was a quarter mile away.
Ann DU-haul mobile check in took 30 minutes to get any response for approval, very inconvenient, wondermart was a great location though
Patrick JThe location I picked my truck up from was small and very difficult to get out of. On top of that I was missing all of my equipment which made me late to meeting my movers. Then my unload movers were scheduled for a day I didn't even have the truck. I had to sit on hold for over half an hour to try and get movers our which suddenly would cost me an extra 170 dollars. I will never go through uhaul again. This was a terrible experience over all.
Chelsea FThey did not have the blankets I needed so I had to go to a different location to get the blankets. I had to open a whole new contract which I thought was not necessary. I still don't see why they could not have been applied to the existing contract. Also they kept moving the location of where the truck was to be picked up. Finally I kept getting many additional emails from U-Haul asking me to do things that I had already completed like checking in on-line. Doesn't your IT systems know that I had already done that? Overall I don't think I would recommend U-Haul to anyone else.
Gary PI returned the truck a day early yet I was charged for a 3rd. day. No One was at the return area so I locked the truck & put the key in the drop box
David GFor a place that is 24/7 drop off why are there orange cones blocking the entrance. I wasn't sure if I was at that right place or not til looking at the signs. Should not have to move cones to get in.

Karl LWhen we arrived there were cones blocking off all entrances. We had to get out and move the cones just to get into the parking lot then move them to get out.
Adam SIt would have been nice to have the exact truck I rented at the exact location I requested. It SHOULD NOT BE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION to pick up the truck he/she rented. I did what I was supposed to do for this rental agreement. U-Haul did not. On top of this, the location I had to go to, after my requested location told me they didn't have my truck, was under construction and was difficult to navigate. Adding to this mess of a situation, there was 1/4 a tank of gas so I had to fill the gas tank before I could begin my move. I WAS NOT AT ALL TAKEN CARE OF AS A U-HAUL CUSTOMER.
Holly EThe best thing you could do is close this location permanently. And make sure there is a PERSON at each truck location to help if something goes wrong. 777 E Market did not answer their phone the day before our reservation, which was when we got a text our location was inconveniently changed to Akron. They did not answer the day of the move either. The truck was hidden behind a funeral home parking lot. Not at the address given, which is now a boarded up building with a creepy alleyway where a man told us through a security cam speaker that uhaul wasn't there. When we finally found the truck, the combination to the lock (which we had to get from the uhaul customer service line) was wrong. And since there were no actual people to help us there we had to call uHaul customer service again, who gave us 3 more combinations one of which worked. The truck had very little gas in it. And a huge dent on the side which we photographed and texted to the nice staff at the Tallmadge uhaul location (who were very helpful) to show we didn't do it. The truck was empty except for a roach, which we killed. Thankfully the only one. We had to go back to the Tallmadge location to retrieve the dolly and furniture pads we had ordered, which were not in the truck. The staff there was very nice. I would have called uHaul to demand my money back if I'd had the energy, but I didn't since we were already put several hours behind. You will not get my business again.
Dawn SThe location is under construction and vehicle was hard to locate. Customer Service was awful and the website barely worked to get verified by someone who was also terrible.
Andrew WThe truck was left for me to pick up ( I picked the keys up the day before) but no one was there at the location even though they said they were open until 12pm. I had a issue with the truck and had to call another location.

Eric SFirst off, that was NOT the location on my printout. I had no clue that was where I was supposed to be until I went to the location I requested and was told I was at the wrong place!
James HU haul. Needs more trucks and better ways to get them. Not going places out of town to pick up a truck then drop it back off. But it was fixed in the end.
Nathan AThe van I had was not full of gas when I received it. I drove it just 6 miles and had to put 4,5 gallons of gas in it to fill it up.

KAREN TThis is a Convenience store. The owner knew practically nothing about U-Haul. we rented a trailer and he wrote us up for a truck, it took almost an hour and he was on the phone with U-Haul the entire time figuring out how to do the paperwork. When I finally turned in the trailer at another location he had put the wrong equipment # on the contract.
JOE WThe location was not well managed. The personnel was unable to answer questions. We were told if we turned the rental in early we would receive money back. I found out that was incorrect. Also, not well versed on how to handle customers and questions. Not a good experience and was very disappointing.
DENISE SUhaul was not swept before renting, even gentleman doi g our paperwork said so. Air conditioning unit didn't work either. Very poor location as well. Also, advertised 20$uhaul... That's very misleading. Almost 100$ for local drive of like 3_4 hours... Won't be renting again.
