I rented a U-Haul truck from the Sunnyvale location. I did the mobile rental. I pulled up parked inside "where the parking spots for vehicles all are" I parked next to another vehicle. Then found my U-Haul truck took off was gone 2 hours came back. I parked the U-Haul truck in the same location I took it from which was outside the business gates in a drive way that was meant to enter and exit the business. After dropping the keys off in the drop box. I start going to where I parked t my car only to find my car was locked inside the gate that's around the business. The company locked there gates with my car inside. I contacted U-Haul customer service and they could not help. I was then told to contact U-Haul Roadside assistant. I contacted them got hung up on a few times as well as used the Mobile roadside assistance help. Then finally talked to someone that was not helpful and told me they could not do anything to help me. After sitting in the cold in the dark with my son waiting for help for someone to open the gate to let me get my car. I finally had to call the local police for help. The police officer reached out to the owner of the location and was told the owner could not come that night I would have to come back tomorrow to pick up my vehicle. While talking to the police at the site a older man pulls up jumps out of his truck and his word exactly " So you are the people I had to get out of bed and out in this cold for" as he walks right pass us and head to open the gate. Very rude unprofessional and I will never rent from them again. I did my part as a customer they failed to do their part as a business.Dusty K.
Parking lot was tad crowded where the UHaul trucks were parked but I am not sure if you can improve this. It just might be backing out hazard for cars. Otherwise, the employees were very helpful!Kevin S.

I was charged a 20 late fee . I was late by about 30 minutes to an hour because the original movers I hired did not show up. I had to find other mo ers through uhaul.com but they were not able to show up till 6 -630. I think the original movers power movers should have to pay that not me. I was told by someone at uhaul.com that if the blankets I rented were unopened and not used I would get credit for them but I did not. I sent an email to uhaul.com several days ago but have gotten no response.PAMELA S.

It's perfect for drop off location, but it is not perfect location for rental. It's not a retail store. It looks like it's been slap together. Needs better signage , along with designated parking markings. This site hasn't put much energy into it's U-Haul designation. It's okay for drop off.Frank F.
Locked my car in the gate after they said I could park there. Had to drive back and forth and got charged extra because I couldn't drop off with my car being there. When I went to talk to them, they only offered to reimburse for the after hour fee, not the extra fuel and mileageSierra O.

The UHAUL location was under renovation, so due to that fact it is difficult to give a rate of the location. There was a sign to call to call the workers of the location. Initially no one answered the call then they came out to assist with the drop off. I notified them of the property in the bed that did not belong to me and released the keys with no further incident.Joshua M.

Obviously, uhaul is going through some sort of transition and locations are changing, nothing is consistent. Calling to do anything for anyone, especially someone sick or with all the things going on in the world are not very productive. I wasted way too much of my time trying to contact y'all. I Since my wallet was stolen, I deactivated my card. If you feel I owe anything, please feel free to contact me tomorrow on the phone at 11:35 am. That is when I will be available. The location has signs that say â€œuhaul customer's call xxx-xxx-xxxx and we will come out to help youâ€ but when you call the number (6 times) nobody answers. They say they open at 9 but didn't answer the phone until 10:15. I had another customer outside with me and they said they had been waiting since 9am. The workers were very nice and explained that they had 2 workers call in sick, but it still seems like bad customer service to just not open until over an hour after you're supposed to.Peter C.
I had a terrible experience with customer service we needed a extra day because we moved 4 hours away from our original home and did not get in till 5am! So with that being said we needed a extra day we'll let me tell you customer service can make you feel like crap she told me I was interfering by keeping it longer for another family! Also rude and was not helpful I kept saying I am sorry but what can I do ! She was like you making it where another family can't move because you need to keep the truck. I said you are gonna make feel bad all day for this because I need to get my family unpacked just needed some extra time! That was my first experience with Uhaul and they ruined it for me!Patricia M.

horrible customer service, has taken a abnormal amount of time to receive my money that I was supposed to get refunded to me after my contract was over. Was sent a check instead of a rebate onto my card which was used in the transaction, sad to have to jump through all of these hoops to receive a small compensationPietro S.
The sign said they were open until 4:30 on Saturday it was only 3:30 but I was on my own. There are 4 or 5 businesses using the same parking lot. It is very confusing which is associated with Uhaul. The Uhaul drop off app walked me through it.Steve R.

I checked the trailer in on Saturday. Two days after I rented it. I had four days of rental and I turned it in after two days. I still had two days left. Four days after I turned the trailer in I was charged an additional $62 for being two days late. I had to go back and get my refund. Not cool!!!GERALD H.

The engine light was on in the vehicle and the passenger side visor feel down when I went over a bump on the service. When I mentioned the visor to an employee, he said, "yes that happens". Additionally, we pre-purchased the use of a dolly, and it was not included when we picked up the vehicle. We were refunded.Korey T.

Packing/Shipping pads were not included and I was charged for them. I reported this at time of pick up and was still charged. I used the app to pick up & drop off the truck and was told someone would contact me regarding the missing pads...nothing. The truck sounded like it had an exhaust leak, very loud when accelerating and it rode very rough.Don W.

Initial contact... we had to look for customer service entrance even after following the signs. I did not receive the code or truck information so I couldn't just get the truck. However once someone came the process was quick. My rented dolly wasn't in the truck but they solved it quickly. Very courteous customer serviceRenata F.

So far it's all great, I left the truck parked as indicated and did the online return, which was easy and convenient. The only think I noticed is that I paid partially at the store when I pick up the truck and then the app charged me the whole thing again after I completed the return, I hope I don't get a double charge. Other than that, the staff was courteous, the process was easy, and the return was convenient. Thank you guys!!ISRAEL G.

I rented a car transport trailer at this location. It was provided to me with a badly worn tire which was worn down entirely through the tread at one place. They could not change the tire, but instead directed me to another location significantly out of my way. I made the trip with the tire and was, fortunately, lucky to make it without a blowout.Robert M.
