The drop off location was someone's house with no indication that it was a Uhaul drop off. But the worst part was they had a very aggressive German shepherd running loose in the yard. I had to deal with that while disconnecting the trailer from the car because it was too heavy for them to lift. Not only an unsatisfactory experience but a true liability for you if someone gets bitten.

Lilian CI have two comments for my overall Uhaul experience and are not exactly related to this dropoff location but this is on the only area to place comments. First, I am 99 % sure I did not select (ie I de-selected all the automatically checked coverage boxes) any insurance coverage for the rented trailer. On my original reservation email that I received prior to picking up the rental there was no mention of any coverage so I assumed this to be correct. However, upon receiving the contract after picking up the trailer I noticed a $25 insurance fee was added to my contract, which is not what I needed/ordered/wanted. I tried to call U-Haul to fix it but was on hold to speak with a representative for an inordinate amount of time and had to move onto more important matters than waiting for someone to answer. Second, when determining the drop-off location for the trailer in Auburn, AL, the two closest options for available drop-off were a significant distance (20 miles) from downtown Auburn. The closest one to my location was in Notasulga (which I selected) and was a 30 minute drive from my location in Auburn. The location was out in the middle of no-where with no signage other than U-Haul trailers in the yard. What made this even more painful was that after dropping the trailer off, I returned back to Auburn and passed at least two large U-Haul locations in downtown Auburn which were only minutes from my original destination! Neither of these locations where made available for dropoff during my booking which is completely unsatisfactory seeing as the drive to/from Notasulga cost me at least $20 in diesel and the intown locations had plenty of space for the small trailer I rented. This rental was an unsatisfactory experience and cost me way too much money and time due to your website interface and lack of availability to receive phone calls.
Michael KThe location was excellent but my overall experience was terrible. I was given the run around all day and the lack of communication among stores needs to be improved. Management needs to be more understanding when working with the public. If management makes and error with extending or over booking. They need to accommodate customers with unlimited mileage, gas, etc.
