The clerk behind the counter had no idea what they were doing which ended up costing me some time - which defeated the purpose of me doing everything on my app and just needing him to hand keys over when I showed him completed page but that's no what happened.Matthew B.

When I got to the drop off location, I could not make the attendant understand that the pads were not included and the charges needed to be removed for them. So we were given no refund for the pads.Daniel S.
This place has no business being a UHaul pickup or dropoff location. It's a hole in the wall convenience store in an awful crime ridden location. I chose an actual UHaul location to pick up my truck but then got redirected to this place. Would have never chose to have to go here. Bullet proof glass separating you from the workers. Take out the awful location and environment and the customer service was still as bad. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes initially in this place for what I don't know. Was taken outside behind the building to a truck that was 24' when I rented a 20' truck. Person told me the extra length truck was the same price but I didn't want to drive that large of a truck so he gave me the one beside it which was actually 20'. Least to say, we had to go back inside where I waited another 10-15 minutes and then were told that they didn't have the furniture pads I had rented nor the dolly, so I'd need to get the truck from them and then drive to an actual UHaul for the other stuff. Spent 2 hours trying to pickup that day when I needed the time to be packing my house to move out. This place needs to be removed from your list of places. No doubt others that have been directed to pick up from here had to also have similar poor experience. Oh and when I asked for some sort of paperwork showing the rental, it was like I was speaking another language. I ended up getting a hand written piece of paper with Uhaul on it and the reservation number, that's it.Gary E.

I did everything over the phone as the owner wasn't available. I was told i was going to receive a 25 credit for the gas not being correct, that never happened. I will try really hard to find another moving truck service next time.MELISSA A.

As with the pickup, the drop-off location was changed on me. This location is a gas station and the clerk did not know how to process the paperwork. I had to leave the trailer without receiving any finalized paperwork. I was told the paperwork would be mailed to me later in the day. Two days after I dropped off the trailer I called because I had not received anything. The paperwork was finally finalized at the end of that day.Gregory M.
Horrible customer service. I was not advised that I would get a fee for dropping off at another location. Which was fine because I moved out of state it would have been good to know. Also I was told that I would get reimburse however that wasn't true.Otisa T.
Back of the truck looked like it hadn't been cleaned in many uses. It's a uhaul/gas station with 1 person behind the counter assisting gas station customers AND uhaul customers so wait times are very long and the person behind the counter seemed extremely unsure, for lack of better words. I had to take use my phone to take a picture of the gas and mileage readings and take it back into the store so the guy behind the counter could take a picture of the picture in my phone. Will never use this location again. I'd recommend any other uhaul locationOctavious D.

When you guarantee a truck it should he there. That is the literal definition of a guarantee. Don't send your customers around to 3 different locations. As a military member I move a lot and need to rent trucks a lot and Uhaul has just lost my business.Jacob A.
This U-HAUL truck was so dirty the driver door window looked like someone threw up all down it the inside of the truck was just a nasty. This was very disappointing for the price of money you pay to rent something and the people renting the out should be held accountable for not checking to see if it's properly cleaned. The area was very sketchy. There was homeless people in and out for an hour and a half begging for money harassing customers. I can barely understand the owner trying to give me instructions. I waited over an hour for the owner to enter 5 minutes worth of information. I will never use this location no refer a friend. The drop-off location and Florence was great. I was in and out in 5 minuteswayne L.
trailer was in poor condition had to be exchanges before we could load the car. Thanks to your Woodruff SC dealer he was very helpful and deserves 5 gold stars. Have people that know what to do about the rentals. Location was in an area of questionable safety. I was approached by homeless wanting money. Truck was empty even though records showed half tank. Had to persuade clerk to let me replace the gas at their cost. Found drug paraphernalia in the rear of the truck after getting it home. Location had no boxes for sale but sold synthetic marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. I will not use that location again!!!Jerry B.
This location is in the hood witness someone buying drugs outside of the location. The person inside had no clue what he was doing so I had to check in the vehicle through the app. Thank god y'all created a app and I'd have y'all to recommend that to everyoneCARLOS H.

The location is convenient if using the online check-in and return. I chose to enter the store and check-in in-person. That was challenging. I would not recommend. At the end of the process I am pleased. I had trouble with the reservation process and billing. I di not get the vehicle reserved. I was billed at a higher rate than quoted. Customer service listened and acted to my satisfaction. The final bill was per the online quote.Paul L.

The automated reservation system was horrible, the first person reserved a truck when I requested a towable thankfully we were cut off and the second person redid everything - I was told I would receive a call to schedule a pick up time, I never received that call, when I called, the individual at the pick up site was clueless, I ended up calling a different location that I had used before (said he did not have one in my size, as I preferred to rent from him) - but he was very helpful and got everything straightened out.davina D.

Return processing time was excessive even though they didn't do a visual check of the truck. They seemed to have trouble connecting to the uhaul system to check me out and asked for the odometer reading 4 times before writing it down and never looking at the truck itself. The location is convenient but the selection of vehicles appeared to be very limited. The people were friendly but had other businesses at this location not solely dedicated to Uhaul rentals.Roy W.

My contract was not done properly and that wasted some of my travel time and money, and the lady at storage unhoocked and hoocked the trailer back up to the truck and she did it wrong so that cost me more travel time and a road call for u haul?? the contract being done wrong was the worst had to go back and they had to call and have someone fix the mistake and wait for ever, I lost almost 3 hours of travel time because of there mistake and not taking the time to check all paper work ??????ELIZABETH S.

Stood in gas station for over an hour trying to get my money back for a discount that was applied to return truck to this specific location. Finally paid and left just so I could go home after a long day of moving. Now have to file a dispute through uhaul directly. This uhaul location is at a Citgo gas station in a very bad part of town, I felt very uncomfortable the entire time as everytime the attendant was dealing with me and calling his owner, three to four people were always waiting behind me to make their purchases and did not seem happy. Do not rent from Xpress Zone on bush river Rd Columbia. This was my second rental w U-Haul and it was and continues to be the worst experience of my life. On 8/13 I picked up trailer It took me thirty minutes to get paperwork done to. Then I had to ask a store customer to help me get U-Haul trailer off the curb so that I could hook it to my hitch. I returned the trailer around 3 pm to the same location. Today 8/15 I received a phone call from the store asking me when I was going to return trailer. I of course replied that I had returned it and he said ok I will figure it out. I now have an extra $42,82 hold on my bank account. I would also like to add that no one come out to make sure I returned trailer in same condition.stephanie F.

Having a pick up location at a gas station convenience store does not present a good Uhaul experience. I had used you online check in process thinking that would speed everything up and create a smooth transition but this was not the case. It was as if the convenience store clerk had to recreate my reservation, even to the point of asking me what type of truck I was there to rent. The pick up experience took about 20 - 30 minutes which does not compare to any other Uhaul rental I've ever had. You'll see that my overall rental time was short so that was a bit frustrating. Shut the place down. Took forever to get UHAUL. There was a woman who was obviously on some kind of drugs who was in and out while I was waiting to be set up for the UHAUL she came in and bought a condom and then came back in a while later to use the bathroom. There was a man begging for money out front. I had to hook up and unhook the trailer no one came out to help and I was alone. No lights or anything was checked when I picked up or dropped off. I guess UHAUL will let anyone into their franchise.Michael K.
This place should not even be associated with u-haul. Terrible customer service, ignorant non-english speaking staff. No signage or any indication it was a u-haul center except for the pamphlets inside. Have never been treated as a stupid foreigner in my own country; egotistical, arrogant ass behind the counter. would not even come outsude to check mileage and fuel level; I had to take a picture of such with my phone and give him my phone so he could enter the info into the computer. This establishment can only impact the U-haul name in a negative way. It's more of a gas station selling water bongs and sex enhancers; a completely frustrating experience.james S.

On our trip we found trash in passenger door and lower middle console. After hitting snow storms in ohio found out there was no washer fluid. Stressful till I could pull off and buy some and fill it. This is not the original place we picked for pick up. The location is a convenience store site. The young man was the only person doing both jobs. He was constantly interrupted by customers while working on my paperwork. He could not go with me to inspect the vehicle before I left. I didn't think much of this until I turned in the truck in Pearl, Miss., and the truck was thoroughly inspected.TERESA D.
When I was on my way to drop off my rental truck around 10 pm, I expected to find the standard 24 hour drop box and to be quickly on my way. What I found was a gas station that doubled as a truck rental store. I went inside and told the clerk I needed to drop of my rental. He seemed slightly confused and had to call someone to walk him through he process. In the meantime, the clerk (the only one on duty in the gas station) had a steady stream of customers that he had to take care of as well (obviously his first priority). The whole ordeal took well over 20 minutes (probably more than 30, but I didn't start keeping track of time at first) I was very disappointed with the whole experience.Joe H.

1. This location was a gas station. Worker was not able to attend to my needs without having to stop and attend to other customers frequenting the station. 2. When you go online to request a truck rental and you get an email with a GUARENTEED pick up time, place and date, you need to HONOR that. Not give a call the day of the needed truck to tell your customer that it was not a guarantee and to pick up a truck somewhere else. It was extremely inconvenient and the confusion cost an additional money and time. 3.Your people were not upfront with information and I am going to try not to EVER have to use UHAUL for any additional move I need to make.ML B.

This is primarily a service station. The guy behind the desk had problems with his computer it took a while to get my receipt. He never came out to unhook the unit (I had to do it) and his response on where I should park it was "out there somewhere (pointing in direction of gas pumps)". Left me with a very 'sketch' feeling. This location is managed out of a convenience store, so the cashier was trying to process my order on a laptop while still checking out other customers for gas, food, etc. Also the order was not in the system upon my arrival so I had to wait several minutes for it to come through. Overall checkout process took 30 mins and I was the only one renting U-haul equipment.Mark T.

The process to get the trailer took way too long, approx. one hour and the 6X12 trailer that I reserved was not there. I had to take a smaller trailer which resulted in a real inconvenience in our move. The personnel never apologized or offered any other options.Michael C.

I was being waited on, and then a person came in to buy a drink, and I was pushed aside so he could "wait on a customer"! I thought I was a customer?? Person was rude, and not very knowledgeable.
