This was a horrible location! I have never been so uncomfortable in all my dealings with uhaul!! The employee didn’t know how to read a gas gauge which resulted in extra charges that were unnecessary. He treated his other customers very disrespectful!! I would suggest no one ever rent or return a vehicle here!!!!

When I arrived to pick up the truck the agent did not have the reserved equipment. ( 2 furniture dolly's) They provided one and could not correct the bill to remove the charge for the one I did not get. The truck is in need of major repairs, bad breaks, low power, motor strained to get to 60 mph, to the point I was concerned to be driving it. When I arrived to return the truck the agent charged me for another days rental after he attempted to charge me $51.00 for a fuel charge of approx. 1/8th tank of gas. Instead of charging me for that amount I took the truck approx 3 blocks away and got gas well over the 1/8th tank that he claimed the tank was short. Long story short I will never rent from that agent again. Sadly enough he is only 3 blocks from my home and I intend to be renting monthly for my business.

This location is actually a convenience store in a very inconvenient location that happens to accept some U Haul returns. The person accepting the vehicle was reasonably welcoming, but he required me to go back to the vehicle and take a picture of the mileage with my phone and they kept my phone for 20 minutes while he sorted out issues with his computer and the processing of the return. He also kept interrupting the processing of the return to tend to other customers there to purchase items in the convenience store arm of the operation. Further, even though the information I was given as the pick was to return to this location, the attendant had me to talk to a person the phone at U Haul who claimed I as at the wrong location. I explained to the person on the phone that the papers I have say I am to return it to location I at and that I even called U Haul to confirm this. The person the phone then said that "there aren't any notes in the system to say that I called." I told him that he was suggesting that I was being dishonest and he replied to me that he was going to argue semantics. The guy on phone seems frustrated and angry. The whole experience felt clumsy, unprofessional, disconcerting, and error prone and I was very untrusting that it was processed correctly. There is a great deal of construction around the location making it difficult to drive through with a large truck and tow. And when you return the truck there is no clearly designated location to do so.

Several layer of communication difficulty. When I rented the car tow, the U-Haul website advised me to get my car inspected at a U Haul location to ensure it was okay to tow. I called this location and they were resistant to doing so and said it was up to me, but it wasn't necessary. When I got the tow and loaded my car, the front bumper was lower than the front end of the tow. In order to get the car out of the tow, I had to have a friend lift the front bumper so it cleared the tow and didn't get ripped off. Also, they were flippant at this location to inspecting the truck when they gave it to me. There wasn't guidance on fueling the vehicle. Lastly, the location for returning the vehicle they entered into the computer was different than the location on the papers provided to me. I called U Haul to clarify this and they said go with what was on the papers. When I got to the location for the return, they were upset that I wasn't where it said in the computer, even though the paper given to me clearly said to go there. They eventually begrudgingly accepted at the location I brought it to, but that wasn't without being accused of lying about having called U Haul to clarify because "there weren't any notes in the system". On a positive note, the truck ran well and I didn't have any issues with the actual truck.

I reserved a 5x8 trailer and expected that and the costs associated, but when I arrived there was only a 6x12 so I had to pay more than I thought. Would have been nice if someone told me that was going to happen so I could have reserved at another location if I wanted to.

Ensure that the truck is cleaned. Both front cabin area and rear of truck. Truck was layered with mud, and needed major attention for cleaning.

Provide the requested equipment at the requested location. DO NOT change the location, then tell me I can only have a 6 x 12 trailer when I ordered a 5 x 8! Especially after I called when my pick up location was changed to confirm that I would be getting the 5 x 8 trailer. Yallo is not the problem here. Telling me that I have to drive to another location to get the requested equipment is a waste of my time. Even worse, the Gilbert location had a 5 x 8 trailer, but would not rent it to me because they had "promised it" to someone else. (and telling me I was saving money because I was getting a 6 x 12 for the cost of a 5 x 8 was good for a laugh)

Convenience store. Clerk more interested in taking care of other customers buying candy and cigarettes. Did not do inspection of vehicle with me. Could not print out copy of contract and did not send copy of contract to e-mail address. I went on faith and trust that I was not going to get cleaned out. Clerk was very nice, just not very helpful with the rental.

The location was so unorthodox for a rental vehicle type company first of all. I was nervous the moment we walked in. I felt very uncomfortable with the way it looked and then the guy who we dealt with was extremely rude. He told us to stop talking and asking questions. He never gave us paperwork for the truck nor a receipt of purchase. He was controlling in terms of when I tried to address my concerns with the style of business he used and his attitude, he gave us the keys and told us to leave. Then we were charged more which turned out to be a deposit but was never informed about it. Two reps over the phone told me there were NO storage units available simply because they didn't want to do their job because when I finally got a hold of our local facility there were plenty of storage units available. It will be awhile before I choose Uhaul again.

If I call and am told a rental for that location exists, it is wrong to call me at the last minute and send me somewhere else for the pick-up location. That cost me about $10 more on my rental just for mileage let alone timing, assistance, etc. besides sending me somewhere where I have to park within a security camera zone to not get my car jacked!!!

These guys had no idea what they were doing. They didn’t even notify the drop off location that I would be bringing them my truck! Thank god the guy at ACE Hardware was able to get ahold of someone that actually works for U-HAUL and got my truck in the system so I was able to leave it with them! The drop off location was great! The pick up location was horrible!!!

To begin with, I made my reservation at 130pm Saturday for the next day (Sunday at 130pm). When completing my reservation, I requested to pick up a 10' truck from the Days Inn in Sharonville, which the website clearly indicated would be available. 5 hours later at 613pm I received an email and text confirmation to pick up a 15' foot truck at the U-Haul in Sharonville. Exactly 30 minutes later at 644pm I received a separate email and text confirmation that the pick-up location had been changed to the Lincoln Heights location, approximately 10-15 additional miles further from my residence. I immediately called the U-Haul in Sharonville and was attempting to speak to the representative when she mumbled something I could not understand and had apparently transferred my call. I was placed on hold for over 12 minutes before another representative answered who was very brief and transferred me yet again to Scheduling when she found out my reservation was in Ohio without allowing me to explain what my issue was. At this point it was 703pm and I immediately hear a recording stating that the scheduling center is open from 7am-7pm. The rude representative had transferred me after I had held on the phone for over 12 minutes only to hear a recording that they were closed. If the 2nd representative had taken just a moment to actually listen to my question, she may have also been able to explain to me that the scheduling center was closed for the evening instead of rushing me off the phone. After listening to more prompts I found my way to the national scheduling center and finally found a representative that was courteous, knowledgeable and respectful. All that I wished to know was why the reservation had been changed and which location I was supposed to pick the truck up at. I was only on the phone with her for less than 10 minutes, however the phone call to ask 2 simple questions lasted 21 minutes, most of which was spent on hold and frustrated. The next day I arrived at the Shepard Lane location and my guest and I were the only customers in the store. There were 2 attendants and upon trying to check in with the 1st one we were directed that the other attendant would be able to help us. So we moved down the counter to the other attendant, who was sitting behind a clear display case and was doing something on his cell phone. My guest and I were clearly standing in front of him for 2 minutes before he acknowledged us, after which we had to wait another minute before being waited upon. Once he did assist us he seemed very knowledgeable and courteous and was efficient in the check in process. Upon getting into the truck one of the 1st things that I noticed was that the center console had become detached at one point and had been carelessly re-attached with some sort of white putty that had spilled over the sides and hardened that way. It obviously did not affect the mechanics of the truck, but that is the only storage space in the cab and it could not be utilize

Not a complete shop, only had 2 trucks - did not have the rest of my order available. I originally requested to pick up my order at 11880 Reading Rd, Cinci 45241. This location was more convenient to me and it was a full service UHAUL location, which was my preference. UHAUL ignored my (the customer) wishes. On top of that, when UHAUL moved the location, UHAUL did not ensure that my order would be completely filled at the new location. I had ordered blankets, dollies, and packing supplies. Non of it was available at the new location. Totally unexceptable. I have always used UHAUL in the past, now I have to question that stance.

They said I didn't refill the gas when I dropped it off. Which I had filled right before I dropped it off to the notch on the meter and charge me for 3 gallons worth. I called to talked to them and they told me a manager would call me right back. I heard nothing back. Fraud. Lack of professionalism.

POOR Return Experience. I advise 100% against using this location for drop off - period! It's a shady and dumpy location and the business there itself seems shady too. I had to make 7 calls to uHaul customer service on a Monday - to have then contact the location - and understand why the unit was not checked in as returned within their system the previous Friday when I actually it dropped off. uHaul Customer Service gave me "They probably left keys on counter and forgot to do the check in over the weekend." Seriously?

This location is a store that sells many different products. It was very busy at 10:00 am with only 1 person working who had to keep stopping to wait on other customers. Also, his computer system was super slow. My total check in time was 26 minutes.

I dropped off the truck on Sunday after the location closed and placed the keys in the drop box. The truck was not check in until Wednesday. The employees at the locations did not answer until after 12 and told me they would check it in on Monday. They then stopped answering and I had to speak to customer service around 14 times to get the truck checked in 2 days later. This was my worst experience with u haul by far and I move once a year.

This was not the location I reserved. My pickup location was changed twice; the most recent change happening at 6:30am the morning I was to pick up the truck. It was not convenient to me. I am very disappointed with U-Haul and will not use them again in the future. I don't understand how I can reserve a truck 2 weeks in advance and have my location changed multiple times. Not only did my pickup location change but my dropoff location changed to a inconvenient location the day of the move. I was called as I drove the truck from my old house to my new house informing me that I must change my dropoff location. U-Haul is very disorganized and there is no accountability between "authorized dealers" and corporate Customer Service. Absolutely horrible experience. Mileage was supposed to be taken off but I did not see any benefit to my bill as I was charged over $200 for a single day rental.

The 1506 shepherd lane location was fine, but . . . my original location was 9283 Cincinnati Columbus Road. that location was vacant. It's not yet serviceable. My wife and I had to drive our of our way to get to a suitable location. U-Haul customer service gave me 20 miles, which is worth about $8. That's not worth the time and hassle my wife and I had to undergo.

When I called I requested a truck that had over 7 feet of clearance to move an refrigerated item that could not be put on its side. The woman answered said I need the 26 foot truck as that had 8 feet of clearance. Problem is, the inside of the truck is that height, the door opening is just under 7 feet. You guys created a pretty big problem as we spent hours disassembling the unit and will most likely need to get a refrigeration profession to fix it. not good but not the fault where it was rented from but the person i spoke to on the phone who booked the truck.

This was the drop off location I was given. Was told I could not drop it off here to go down the street without so much as an address. "Just down the road at the end." Then when I got the other location I had to explain why I was there. To return back to the other location and have them tell the owner yes I was dropping it off there. It was extremely inconvenient and they should not be allowed to have U-Haul there. I could not get a receipt either (due to slow internet). It was all very frustrating!!!!! Terrible customer service. Guy was rude.

I was overcharged at mileage rate of .99 instead of .59. Your paid receipts are horrible. It had print so small that I didn't pick up the mistake until getting home. I called right away and was told someone would call back soon to help with the overcharge. No call back and I called 3 more times over the next 3 hours and each time I was hung up on during a call transfer to customer relations, so I would give customer relations an F. Told by the next agent that she would document it and turn it over to a manager as I said I would not be transferred. 24 hours later it appears that the charge was corrected. I've used Uh all for 10 years but I'm done now!! John
