The 1200 w blue ridge Dr Greenville location I was sent to was horrible. The trailer was not available,because the previous customer did not return it. I waited 4 hours for the trailer and it did not come. I asked Hector the manager to look for a another location and he said there were no trailers available. I looked on line and found trailers available in Mauldin. I pressed him to call and finally I was able to leave. This added 5 hrs to my trip.

Travis RowellKept having problems getting through the rental process. The clerk in the store said that everything was already rented. Then she said that I would have to rent the truck on the U-Haul website. Started the online process only to be sent to an advertisement for a mobile H-Haul app just as I was about finished putting in my payment information. After a call to the toll free line. I had to speak to two different persons to get a reservation number. Once I had a reservation number I went back into the building to get the truck only to be told that my card I was using would not go through and that it was a computer problem. After nearly 35 minutes in the rental office another clerk came in and processed card with no problems. The truck was reserved at 1:45PM. I finally left the rental place at 2:50PM.
HARRY FELDERDropping off the U-haul truck wasn't as harrowing as the pick-up disaster. However, we were dreadfully concerned that it would also be a disaster, since we had NO LUCK with the U-haul app when we were picking up the truck. Luckily the app worked this time so that we could drop off the truck after hours. It took about 15-20 minutes to follow all of the instructions in the app, take all of the photos, and finalize the charges. I still feel that we are due a refund for the APPLIANCE DOLLY, that was only a regular dolly (we did not need a regular dolly, because we already had 2 of them.)

David FieldsI was told the key had to be put in the ignition in a very specific way in order to start the truck. After multiple tries I had to go get the attendant to help me. After driving for a while it became clear the brakes, transmission and steering was bad. After reaching my destination I shut the truck off while my furniture was loaded. When I went to start it, it would not start. It took over 15 minutes of attempts, while trying to get road side service before it finally started. When I returned the truck I told the woman at the counter this truck is dangerous and needs to be taken out of commission she told me it wasn't their problem, contact UHaul. I did. I filed a complaint. When looking at reviews, I see this truck has been reviewed before but is still being used. The truck also has significant damage to the right headlight area as well as damage around the truck box. Hopefully between my complaint and this review, something will be done.

The items the previous driver used were still in the back. Business owner didn't seemed to concerned. This vehicle should be repaired & I should get a partial refund as I couldn't get another truck. I like UHaul. We've rented three times in the last month. Just a bad rental experience this time for the money we paid.

Robert CollinsI was highly I'm displeased with my experience, I moved out of state and the truck that they gave me was not clean and it was very outdated. The truck had over 161 000 miles and it drove terribly. The air barely worked in the truck and I struggled to figure out how to turn the headlights on because the truck is so outdated. There was so much play in the steering wheel. I did not whatsoever feel comfortable driving this truck. Not to mention I was told that I had the truck on a two day rental. I reserved the truck for 48 hours and pick the truck up at 12:45 on Thursday, August 10 and was told it was scheduled to be brought back at 12:45 on August 13 which would be two days however when I brought the truck back at 9:30 AM. I was charged for a third day when I only have the truck for two days. I am highly disappointed in this company and they should never rent trucks again it was a terrible experience. The truck was filthy, and it had a putrid smell I do not recommend anybody to ever book the company, and I for sure will never book a U-Haul from this company again.

However, The truck was given to me with duct tape on the mirror and the mirror could not be adjusted because of that which is a safety hazard and when I returned the truck, I didn't quite understand the return/check out process because I didn't realize at first I could do it online and the lady treated me like I was completely stupid because I didn't quite understand what she had asked me the first time. She needs to learn how to talk to people nicely and with respect and courtesy and she didn't have that at all. It was like that with her the second I walked in to turn in the keys.

The guy behind the counter said he sent me an email saying 9am but that was false. I shouldn't have had the option for an 8am pickup when they open at 9. Might want to look into gettint that looked at so it doesnt happen to someone else.

Michael MerrimanDo NOT use this location. The owners and staff are highly unprofessional, demeaning, and disrespectful. This location needs to be fully investigated. It seems as if this location is taking advantage of self-checkin customers and discriminating. Despite being calm, respectful, and patient, the representative continued to provoke and escalate the situation and eventually resulted in the woman full out yelling in front of other uhaul customers and calling my husband an idiot. They pretend to be ignorant to how the system works and act is if they don't rent uhaul's and act like they don't see your reservation, and say they don't have your truck. We were given so many lies and excuses by these individuals all while on the phone with Uhaul reps who were doing all they could to help and resolve the issue but the simple fact is the owners didn't want a resolution. They didn't want to give us the keys or issue a refund because they didn't care. They had our money and for whatever reason they did not want us using that truck. To make matters worse, she and her ( assuming husband) had a small marital spat in front of everyone as he attempted to force her to be submissive and quiet. For over an hour I had to sit and be disrespected and lied to repeatedly. Lies that didn't even make sense, because they refused to give us the keys to the truck or reverse the dispatch so we could leave and rent from somewhere else. Do NOT rent from here. It's nearly impossible to get a resolution, they will essentially steal your money and insult you while doing it. We PAID and followed the rules and guidelines and did nothing wrong. As a customer, I am offended. We were insulted and disrespected for over an hour by a business we PAID for a service. The entire interaction from start to finish was a complete disturbing disaster. There is a flaw in the system that's allowing these individuals to make it a nightmare for customers to rent a truck. Had not I had the patience, diligence, and consistency to call uhaul repeatedly asking for help, I would've been out of my money. Even down to leaving this review, that store has found a way to be dishonest. They removed my contract so I couldn't leave a review on the app so guess what I called Uhaul. Improve by discontinuing the partnership with yogi foods. They make uhaul look awful. Would NOT recommend.

He asks for pics of the fuel and its on F but wants to argue with me that the hand should be way past the F when that was never discloed or in any writing that it had to be past a certain amount. Not as long as its touching or saying Full. Anyway because of this the receiver wanted to charge me 9 additional dollars for this, instead of just putting 50 cent into the tank if that was the case, but as he said he didnt want to move the truck after I parked it...Very bad customer service, guess he really needed those 9 dollars
