Regina MagbieSo my previous experience here was fantastic. Rented a truck and I was in/out in no time. Truck was clean and for the most part no issues. This experience was the polar opposite. We arrived to pick up the trailer and we couldn't get in the parking lot, heck we could hardly get through on the street. People were parked everywhere! There were 3 cars parked in the middle of the street next to the parked trucks blocking the entire lane with people just standing around. I asked my friend to let me off at the driveway (I'm handicapped) and park wherever he could on the street and I'd call him when it looked like he could get into the parking lot where the trailer was parked. I went inside and the line was all the way out the door! It was insane. I cannot fault the agents because what I was gathering from these people is that they were a complete mess and had no idea what they were doing. Finally we got to the counter and the location had no receiver hitches to sell (you have them online for sale) so we ended up having to go to harbor freight to buy one. My friend worked at UHaul and he said they always had those available because people always either didn't have one or forgot to bring one. That's a missed opportunity for UHaul to make money in my opinion. You sent $30 down the street to another store. Now for the trailer. After all of this and an hour and a half past our pick up time, we hook up the trailer and the right turn signal and brake lights were not working due to a damaged cable on the trailer. Luckily I had electrical tape in the truck and my friend repaired the damaged spot and got the lights to work. The last thing I want to mention is that when I make a reservation online, I always chose a LaPlata location which is close to my house. Every time my reservation gets changed to Waldorf. There are two laplata, a Newburg and a White Plains location that are closer to me. That added a lot of time for us to return the equipment after a long day of moving things.

CHILDRENS AIDI said no insurance, he confirmed no insurance, but still charged me 26 dollars, I refused to pay online , but after my finishing the van, and with my disagreement about the receipt, they said someone would call me to double check, apparently no body called me and still changed me insurance !
