I recently rented a U-haul on July 8 for a one-way trip from NJ to PA. I picked up the truck at J&M Self Storage in Edison, NJ and drove to CubeSmart Self Storage in Piscataway, NJ for a total of 6,2 miles. I then drove from CubeSmart Self Storage in Piscataway, NJ to my home in Hillsborough, NJ for a total of 14 miles. We loaded the truck and drove from Hillsborough to Wyomissing Gardens in Wyomissing, PA for a total of 97 miles. We returned the truck to Yours One Stop in Reading, PA on Saturday, July 9. The distance from Wyomissing Gardens to Yours One Stop is 2,2 miles. Based on this information, the total miles we drove the truck is approximately 120 miles, so I'm a little confused how I received an invoice stating I drove an additional 276 miles over the allotted 124 miles included in the rental. I'm not sure where you got this mileage from, but it is just not possible based on the places I drove to. Not only that, but the truck only had a little over a half tank of gas when I picked it up and the only time I put gas was to replenish what I used. There is absolutely no way I drove 400 miles on a half a tank of gas since the truck only averages 372 miles on a full tank. Some one at one of the locations must have entered the mileage incorrectly. Unfortunately, I'm a trustworthy person and did not take pictures of the mileage on pick-up or drop-off. I would appreciate if the additional charge of $119,23 be reversed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Dana A.

The uhaul itself was infested with ants in the front, the person I brought with me to move across the country, is allergic to ant bites, it was horrible, and I needed to buy bug spray myself, and the back leaked when we drove through a storm and it made my things wet. Other peoples personal items were left in the truck as if they never checked that it was cleaned. The back was filthy. I cleaned it when packing it. Worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. The pick up took forever, outdated computers made it difficult to check in.Brandy F.

After more than 24 hours trying to secure a vehicle this was the closest one they could find. Even though I reserved one online and pre-paid for it 30 days in advance! The day of pick up they gave me over seven different locations to pick up the truck and separate locations for the car dolly. When I arrived at this location the truck had less than a quarter tank of gas and it was an empty bottle of water and other junk in the cab. The attendant at the gas station that I picked it up that was very friendly and cooperative. That was the only good experience I've had with U-Haul!John B.
The attendant was excellent but the website is slow and cumbersome! I had to wait even after doing everything on line to register. It should have been nothing more than pick up a key. In addition, the entire reservation system seems to not make sense! Locations change, being told a reservation does not guarantee me getting the truck. Very frustrating!Joseph S.

When a customer asks for and pays for 12 packing quilts and even specifies to you to go check before the reservation goes through... try ACTUALLY putting all 12 quilts in the uhaul instead of just 6. I didn't realize I didn't have everything I paid for so when i got to the drop off was met with difficulty in getting charged for quilts i was never given! Not cool. Also, after waiting 40 minutes to get my truck because the computer, or the owner, or the guy behind the counter can't figure things out can't even enter in my drop off location and made it a "unknown" so that I can be met with a possible $150 charge and not TELLING me that's what could happen? However the drop off location was inadequate. We were charged for three gallons of gas when we returned it with more than we started. We have phone pictures. This was done without a call or in our presence. Please correct this. We have mall the proof you need. Thanks you. Teresa BurekTERESA B.

When I went to pick up the truck I had to wait numerous times while the sales lady waited on other customers. In the end she put the wrong drop off location in and I was charged for wrong drop-off. I was also charged for an additional 141 miles for a 130 mile trip. When my brother in law tried to talk with them about this they merely told him there was nothing they could do. This location is a blight on UHaul's reputation. The Attendant did not answer 5 separate attempts to reach the location by phone to confirm drop off hours. "I've been busy" she told the customer on arrival. Her husband (a non-employee) had to be called into service to check in the truck. The customer requested that the owner please call the next morning to discuss the blanket overcharge. No call was received.David W.

I was charged $20 for not using the Uhaul app but I tried to use it and the app did not work. Fix the dam app if you are going to charge people if they don't use it. I have an android phone and used Chrome. The app sent me back to the home page after selecting continue. Never got to scan the QR code. I was told I would not be charged but I was. I selected SafeMove that was $14 but was charged $28. I was overcharged by $48. Not planing to use Uhaul next time.BARRY Z.

Eliminate that store from handling your equipment. Counter person had no idea what to do. I was there for 2 HOURS trying to get this vehicle that I reserved weeks in advance (which was in the parking lot). The main issue was that the person had no idea on how to use the system nor what can or cannot be done etc. Basically no knowledge, and admitted it. All the while the owner was playing some gambling game they have there. They are a VERY POOR representative of your company!Chris D.

Horrible location. Service was horrible it's a convenience store. They made me â€œsignâ€ my contracts on a personal cellphone while it was getting calls and had to redo the entire process twice. We did online check in did everything and went to pull away and we got yelled out bc our truck was supposed to be dropped off in the morning.
