I reserved a truck for 9 am and got told at 8:00 am that it is not available ad to wait until 11 am to pick up another truck at another location - horrible service!!

I was returning the truck went to put gas in it and there was a lock on the cap.There was no key for the lock so after 10 minutes of searching the truck and finally figuring out a way with my own key to unlock it. Those 10 minutes In the five minutes it took to bring up the computer website for the cashier made me late and I got charged for an extra day a full day which I don’t need. I will never rent from U-Haul again nor will I ever recommend it to anybody.

The location and worker were amazing, my only qualm is that the previous driver left a lock on the truck which set me back an hour and a half

My problem is more with customer service. Specifically with the regional manager Manny and agent Lucy. Twice now I’ve had problems with not having truck available when I had a reservation and this time being over charged. I still have not received full refund. Nor did they honor the $50 credit for not having truck available 2 months ago. The representative I spoke with at that time, Lucy, was rude and condescending both to me and my girlfriend. Manny has never returned my calls both times. Or emailed status. I never had a situation where I felt compelled to write a grievance in my life, but I do so now. I hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears. Jonathan Fineman

Communication was horrible throughout. Original reservation information and pick up time changed three times, making me run around and change timelines, incurring additional costs from movers and wasting a more of my own time. Unacceptable. And a $50 credit does not cover it.
