The guys I dealt with were awesome! Knew their stuff and even called another nearby location to see if they had what I was looking for. In the end, they couldn't locate what I needed but they did offer me an upgrade at a reduced rate. Great customer service and awesome bang for the buck.

This location was crowded and very run down There was one guy working there and was crazy busy He didn’t have time to come out and help us hook the trailer up to our vehicle A man that was returning a trailer Came and helped us lift the trailer and hook it up The turn signals didn’t work so I went in and asked him about it. He came out for a minute but said he was busy inside with gas and other customers buying chips pop etc So we had no lights that work properly so we had to phone around and find a place in Prince Albert that could look at the wiring We lost most of the day having an electrician to check out the connection It cost us 55 dollars for the electrician to tell us it was the uhaul wires that wasn’t working so we bought the new wires It was very frustrating Not a very good experience and very stressful Hooking it up and trying to get it fixed

Trailer was full of dirt and leaves, looked like someone used it for lawn work, none of the lights worked when i picked it up, had to fix the ground cable just to get some lights working so i didnt get a ticket, some of the lights still didnt work, the staff could care less, staff knew about it 24 hours prior to me picking it up and could not get another trailer for me, overall, shittest experiance of my life, a prostate exam would have been more relaxing then renting from this company

I was upset with the change that happened with my reservation, and not being informed from the representative when she called and said there was a change in time, The representative should have informed me that the original uhaul i had reserved has been changed. I rented the Truck for two days and left there at 1:45pm. They booked the truck on that second day for another customer at 1pm and were phoning everyone to see where we were at. If they looked at the rental agreement they would have seen that they were premature in booking so early. Everything worked out in the end and I really did not have any real issues. Everyone was friendly and understanding.

Would of liked to have known a return time. We did not know it was for 24 hrs only. The gentleman at the rental place never told us this. We even looked at return places and what time they closed but never once did he mention a return time. Wasn’t until we got a phone call from u haul that we knew about this. Got charged for overtime which did not impress us.

I had booked the truck a couple weeks in advance to pick up in saskatoon at 10 am Saturday, to move from my current home there, to my new one in regina. I had also scheduled movers for 11 that day to load. The day before I recieved a call that I had to pick up truck in prince albert, which was an extra hour and a half away. This meant I had to either go to PA the night before to pick up or early the day of moving. This was extremely inconvenient and expensive. It cost me fuel in my personal vehicle to get me to PA and it back again, as well as time i should have spent prepping for my move. I feel given the advance booking, there is no excuse for this to happen. It was then explained to me that my reservation really means nothing as it is not a guarantee. I assure you this is the last time me or anyone else I can convince, will ever use this company again.

I was told 2 days before I moved that saskatoon did not have any trucks and I had to travel 145 km to prince Albert to get one , and all they would give me was 50 dollars off and an extra day , mean while I used 45 dollars of gas in my own car and over 60 dollars in the truck when I got back to saskatoon. The location i picked the truck up was not a very clean run down looking the truck itself smelt like someone just smoked 10 packs of cigarettes in it, as a non smoker I could hardly stand the smell I had to have the window down most of the way as I could not stand the smell. When I received my bill I do not see the 50 dollars taken off the bill

It’s wasnt the specific location. It was the overall experience. I would rate the entire experience 1/5. I was “guaranteed” a uhaul in Saskatoon, SK, just to receive a call that there were none available. You need to check the definition of “guaranteed”. So I booked one in Prince Albert. When I called to check and make sure the Uhaul in Prince Albert was “guaranteed” and would actually available, I was told it wasn’t. Then found out from a separate contact that the uhaul was available. Worst customer service I have ever received. Moving is stressful enough, making me second guess whether I even had the equipment to move multiple times is terrible. Seriously, check the definition of guaranteed, you should not use it on your website or in email correspondence if it truly isn’t guaranteed. Severely disappointing.

I think I was over charged cuz I paid the #I'll amount but was told I had to have the uhaul back at 9pm that night so I only had it for about 5 hrs so I had to move the rest with my van n pay others to help me I think I deserve some of my money back. It didn't seem fair cuz I should of been able to have the truck til I was done moving all of it. I called to have it an extra hr or so but still I needed it longer. Not fair felt ripped off.

I booked a month in advance with a tight moving schedule and despite having a 24 hour confirmation email I arrived to find no trailer. No prospect of a trailer for two days, and no one willing to do anything about that either at the location or at the Edmonton-based customer service phone number. The trailer in fact did not become available until 4 days later. I phoned both the branch and the office daily receiving no information other than that there was nothing they would do about it. I was told a manager would call me and NEVER DID. I was told I would be contacted as soon as there was news and yet it was my own daily phone calls to the branch that informed the the trailer had finally arrived. I found the whole interaction disgusting. Was told by several people that it wasn’t their problem. Thank goodness there isn’t any other competition in the long haul tailer rental business eh?! That said I was 12 hour from BUYING my own 12 foot trailer because my schedule has become so desperate. I had to apologize to my salesperson from Flamen Sales when I cancelled that purchase. That is how much of a problem this was. I don’t want cash or compensation. I want Uhaul to learn how to take some responsibility and back up their brand. I cannot express how disappointed I am.

The above location was very accommodating and helpful.Great customer service and I was in and out quickly, however, the other U-haul location in Prince Albert Sask. Was awful, my friend had a trailer on hold, that I was supposed to used to help with the move.not only was it nearly impossible to find the location, other than a drop box for keys , there was absolutely no indication the U-Haul presence was there. Signage, indicated the location opened at 10:00 a.m. but after waiting at the gate until 10:15, numerous unanswered phone forced us to the other location. The owner of the locked location did return our call, stating he was busy at the local garbage dump,and could meet us later (30-45 minuets ) if we wanted.not only had we lost an hour waiting for him to open at 10:00 ( as his sign states) we were heading to Edmonton and could not afford to have him wast anymore of our time. This is one of the few times I have ever done a survey, let alone, given a bad review, however, I feel this person should not be representing your brand. As I said before,the agent at 696 15th ave east, did a great job. Thanks Bruce Edwards

I booked a 10 FOOT trailer and got a larger one because the one i requested was not there. They gave me the same price, however, when returning the van i was forced to argue with the employee about a tiny sliver of gas that i failed to put in although i guarantee i put back every drop of gas. I was very upset.

The service at this location was terrible. The worst part was that I was told I could drop it off at a specific location that was different from where I was picking it up. I was told this twice by both the internet when I booked the trailer and the Uhaul representative. Then when I called the number to find the drop off point I was told they were closed and that I had to bring it back to the pick-up location. Brutal service, and information was misleading. In the end, renting a trailer from U-haul was more of an inconvenience than a pleasure.

The pick up location is a beat up, run down gas station. It took an hour to get our truck and trailer. The “gas station” attendant guessed how much fuel was in the truck, so upon doing my inspection he had to change the amount on the rental form. Once we were done loading the truck we realized that we didn’t need the trailer. So instead of dragging it down the highway, I drove the five miles back to the run down gas station to drop it off. I informed him that I didn’t need the trailer and wanted to drop it off to save on fuel and wear and tear. He told me I couldn’t drop it off because I have had it for more than a half an hour and I had to keep it. So I left with the empty trailer and drive to Saskatoon.
