Not being able to access the storage units from the front entry, and having customers use the rear entrance ONLY is horrible and cruel! The facility has an entry point directly in front of my unit and I was told that it was not available for use.

Christine Gunter | Overall ExperienceEven after swiping my entry card, the alarm on my unit would go off every single time, for 2 years. I reported it several times and it was never fixed. My lock was cut off twice. The first time it was cut off I was not notified at all and only found out when I went to get Christmas decorations out and my key no longer worked. The second time, I was contacted and told someone else was claiming the unit was theirs. The lady I spoke to was the same person that cut my lock off the previous year, and said she remembered me because she liked my Christmas decorations she had seen the year before.. I told her I was at work and couldn't come right at the moment and scheduled to meet her at my until between 2:30p and 3:00p that same day. I arrived at 2:45p to find her standing at my unit with the door open. She had cut the lock off again. When i asked why she didn't wait, she said the lady who was claiming the unit was hers was standing there waiting. I told her she knew I was coming at the designated time and asked why she couldn't honor our agreement. I was again told because the other lady was already there. She tried to tell me my name wasn't associated with that unit (even thought she remembered me from cutting the lock off the prior year). I opened the app on my phone and showed her where it had my unit number. I asked how the "system" didn't have me associated with the unit but the app did. She told me her manager told her to go ahead and cut the lock and pointed him out. He stood there the entire time and let her take the heat I was giving her and never said a word. That is extremely poor management skills and I would NEVER work for someone like that, and it isn't someone I would want working for me. Other than the above described scenarios, every time I've had to go inside the store portion, there has only been one, and on the rare occasion 2, people working the counter, and most times I could see 2-3 people sitting in the office. Service was always slow and it felt like I was inconviencing the staff by shopping there. I will never rent from this particular facility again, and more than likely will never rent a storage unit from Uhaul period. This experience has been a nightmare and I am actively discouraging friends and family from ever using your storage facilities.
