The young man that helped me was excellent. The manager on the other hand talked poorly about the employees while doing a FaceTime with an employee in the ears at the customer and other employees.

jeffery A | Overall ExperienceI have always patronized Uhaul fir moving and storage. However this experience has been the worse. The staff at Washington Blvd, FtWaybe IN talks down to paying customers. Worse I rented larg storage unit and each time I checked in there was evidence of mouse infestation. Swept dead adult mice out of doorway on two occasions and upon moving out found shredded mouse nesting in my clothing, bed linens and upholstered sofa. They ripped apart stored paper towels and books and set up camp in my belongings. Dead baby mouse carcass under sofa cushion and mouse droppings and urine stains. Pics document proof of infestation. I really would like Uhual to take responsibility by footing the bill for professional steam cleaning, disinfecting and sanitization of my furnishing....not to.mention the loss of certain items I just threw into the trash. The smell.of urine and droppings is horribke nowcthat my furniture and belongings are in mew apartment. The deeply affect me as I suffer from severe asthma associated with animal dander and droppings such as cat litter box that is not kept cleaned and cleared of waste. I will.be reaching out to corporate for a resolution. Otherwise; my experience would have been flawless as it has been in past years.

ROBIN A | First ImpressionsI paid my fee for the month early because I would be out of town when it was due. When I returned from vacation I was sent several emails stating I had not paid my monthly fee and had serious charges for late fees. I had my receipt and the person at UHaul did not print all of my receipts but it had that I had paid early. The lady was rude and told me " next time you will have to pay late fees"! I politely told her that I would not be paying for any mistakes they made in the future and that I would probably be moving my things to another storage place. I have had my unit for many years and has always paid.

John C | Overall ExperienceEverything was good with the small exception that there was a dead and desiccated rat under the door of my unit when I went to move out. Everything inside seem to be fine, but it was still unnerving.
andrew b | Overall ExperienceThe facility as a whole is fine. However I'm taking away one start because stairs are not the thing when storing items. The stairs would normally have been a deal breaker for me.
Erin B | First ImpressionsCommunication between stores was frustrating. I reserved a storage unit on the phone with someone, they made the reservation. When I got to my location, the U-Haul location didn't have my reservation at all. I also was told I could drop off at the location I was going. Because the national system was off, I was asked to drive to a location an hour away, instead of the current location was at. It was pretty frustrating.

David r | First ImpressionsIan and Kevin were super great!!! Both have great customer service every time we’ve encountered. Jeanette was okay at times. Dee(assistant manager) dresses inappropriately-shirt unbuttoned with cleavage showing and has a poor attitude towards customers also with staff. During my rental the overhead door was not operating and left open at all times for months…I didn’t feel safe to enter during times the office was not open.

WADE S | Overall ExperienceJeanette and the man with a beard and glasses made my experience so easy. Jeanette made sure she went over everything with me thoroughly and made sure I understood what was going on. She helped me get checked in and checked out. She was very kind and you can tell she works very hard. The man (I wish I knew his name he was working 5/22/23 with Jeanette) was very helpful as well. He looked at me like a person not just a way to make money. they deserve recognition for the work they do. Thank you.
