Google Maps appears to have a false U Haul station at 2354 W Touhy. There's nothing there. The gentleman inside DCI furniture was rude, bothered by me, and pointed me to the location where the vehicle was parked at 7107 Western a couple blocks down. This, in the app, is a different u haul location all together. I had never rented an U Haul before so I asked about scanning the bar code and he shook his head and said "You're not listening. I don't do the computer stuff. People come and i tell them the vehicle is parked over there." Upon arrival to the vehicle and barcode location the app wouldn't let me get the vehicle and said I was in the wrong location. I had to walk back to DCI so that the gps would register, then walk back to the vehicle and scan to get it. I was late and had to extend my time (I didn't get it until maybe 30 minutes after I had reserved it, but my return time didn't change) There were no furniture pads that I ordered. I will never rent from this location again. It would not be difficult to be kind and simply explain what to do. I was discouraged more than anything.

Mobile pickup didn't work for this location and customer service was not helpful at all. Had to talk to 5 different people on the phone for few hours until someone was able to finally help me pickup the truck. Drop off didn't go smoothly as well
stathis theoharisI was supposed to pick up my scheduled rental at 9am on 7/30 as a self-pick up/truck share. However, the location never set up my rental, the office was closed on Sunday, and I was on hold with U-Haul customer service for almost 4 hours to understand what went wrong, find another location, and pick up a different rental. Once at the second location, several hours later, the app and U-Haul website kept getting errors which stopped us from being able to scan a barcode and get access to the truck keys. We were on hold with customer service for another hour before we even got the keys and were way behind schedule to be able to move out of my apartment. It was an incredibly stressful day all due to mistakes on U-Haul's end. I'm very frustrated and will not use these services again.
