I made a last-minute change in my reservation. Instead of picking the truck up on Friday late afternoon, I picked it up on Saturday morning. I called the location to let them know and they told me that this was okay. At 7:30 PM I received that my reservation was cancelled. Immediately, I called U-Haul letting them know that I haven't cancelled my reservation and that I will pick up the truck in the morning. The reservation was uncancelled, however, there was no truck available in the area, and I should call the next day at 7 AM to talk with the schedule department. THIS WAS VERY DISAPOINIG. I need the truck that morning to a new apartment. The lease was due that day and I needed to empty the apartment that day! After a stressful and long night, I received a text at 7:10 AM, that there was a truck for me in the original location. Helpfully, things got solved and everything was smooth after that.

There was no one there when I arrived even though the sign with the hours said they were open. This was very disappointing and I had to call and get instructions to drop it off

Samuel OMy reservation was set for 10:30am and I received a phone call at 10:05am asking if I could push my reservation back to 11am because the worker had to go to the bank. I explained that my 10:30am appointment was firm (hence why it was not set for any other time) but was told by the worker that she MUST go to the bank and there was no wiggle room for her. She was incredibly persistent that I come now (at 10:05 or 11am). I felt like I had no choice so I asked if she could call me immediately once she got back from the bank (thinking that it would be no more than 20-30 minutes.) I adjusted my whole schedule of moving to accommodate for her needs. The scheduling system should have removed this option time slot if it was unavailable. The worker calls me back around 11am for me to pick up the truck. The worker took 30 minutes to get us out the door. This was a very slow and excruciating experience as she did not know how to Upon dropping off my vehicle at a different location, I was told that I was going to be charged extra fees because I went over the milage. This was completely out of my control as the initial worker made me adjust all my plans for moving. This was overall just a terrible experience and I had to pay extra for accommodating a haul employee.
