The owner would not check in the trailer after it was dropped off. I had to go back and ask him to check it in.

BENJAMIN MThe operator was inattentive. As UHaul is a side business, I had to wait for him to come complete my rental. He was on the phone ordering parts for a car while trying to enter my information for my rental. I returned the vehicle early (Sunday night 9:00) and called customer service Monday morning to verify that the operator had checked it in. The associate on the phone put me on hold to call. The operator acknowledge that the truck was there. UHaul called me Monday afternoon to ask if I had completed my rental. I assured the caller that I had returned the truck the night before. Clearly because his auto repair is his primary concern, the operator had not complete my rental return. When he did, he posted the return time as 12:00 pm, resulting in a additional day of rental. I have called to dispute the charge I have used UHaul several times in the past. This was absolutely the worst experience. I suggest UHaul reevaluate the franchise location they use. Clearly, UHaul customers are not a priority to the operator. If he isn't going to take care of the UHaul customers, he needs to give up the job!
Holli PThere was nobody in the front office. I had to walk through the garage to find someone who spoke English. When I found the manager he instructed me to simply drop off the trailer next to the other vehicle and offered no receipt for my timely dropoff.
