Had a car transport reservation for 9am waiting 45 minutes to check it out return time was 7pm and I was back by 6:50 pm told by employee to park it in the back part of the lot and he checked it in then the next day I was charged an after hrs drop fee? Making me waste more time to get my 20 $refund.also grease and oil all over the trailer at least hose it offJEFFREY G.

The whole experience from start to finish, with the exception of the person who received the truck on return, was completely unpleasant. The store is a jumbled mess. No direction on what to do and where to go. The service reps are without personality and are lazy. It's clear they hate what they do. The whole ordeal of uploading and downloading is really inconvenient. The need to self inspect the vehicle is ridiculous. U-haul should know the condition and if they want you to sign off on it they should be present during the walk around. Having to do it with the app is clunky and time consuming. Time I don't have or want to spend. The rates advertised are 100% misleading. What is advertised as a $19.99 rental turns into $120 just like that. I booked on the app and for the life of me could not figure that one out. But more than all of that, the most disappointing part is the customer service. It is a big ZERO at this location. I will certainly do my very best to avoid ever renting from U-Haul in the future due to the clunky and customer unfriendly method of the whole renting experience with the app and need to verify condition. But most certainly I won't step inside the Livingston street Allentown location again.MARK R.

Don't advertise your rental trucks for a set base amount and then when your potential client shows up tell them â€œif you go over x miles you'll be charged for it.â€ Why would you advertise for a base amount of around $140 and another plan for $24+$.67/per extra mile? Gave me a truck with a broken/smashed drivers side mirror , with no warning and still had to pair full price. The man who did the order spoke so quiet and gave no information that was helpful. It was like he was asleep. I didn't know how to return the truck. The location itself is hard to get to and dirty. I wish I had asked for a discount but I honestly just wanted to get out of there.MELISSA M.
Purchasing multiple trucks and majority of them except one all had foot tracks inside the drivers area and wish it was cleaner. I also wished the man would of told me to do the 360 walk around with the link provided but I didn't and was charged full price for gas even though the truck I got was empty and I gave it back the same way received and was charged a full tank when I bought it back which was a lot. The first location i went to would not accept the 26ft truck, the person in the rental office was rude and down right â€œnastyâ€ and told me in no uncertain terms to get the truck out of here and take it the E Livingston Street location. She annoyed me to no end, all wanted to do was to get that truck out of my life, that first location drop off experience sucked. Overall the experience was great and hassle free. My only complaint would be that my truck had a uhaul advertisement cardboard on the windshield. I didn't know what to do with it and I didn't have anywhere to move it to since it's so big. I had to just lay it flat on the windshield which was a hassle because it overlapped with the steering wheel so my hands hit it anytime I turned the steering wheel.ALDO L.

We drove 2+ hours from our home to pick up truck at scheduled location in Allentown at 12 noon. We hired 2 helpers to help the move. Then 15 minutes before our pick-up time a clerk from Allentown called to tell us our truck was cancelled due to a maintenance problem and the only other truck available was at Easton at 5:00 PM. We discussed possible options on the phone but to no avail. The clerk urged us not to cancel but still had no other option for us. So then we called two of your competitors and found another truck at Penske at noon. When arriving at Penske the U-haul clerk called us back and told us she has another truck available so the then we cancelled Penske and used the replacement truck. We felt this ordeal was very unprofessional as we felt the someone at all the U-Haul locations in the Lehigh valley a replacement truck should have been immediately found.
