Everything at Marathon was excellent, along with Judy in Customer service with Uhaul. We do however want to file a complaint with Granite Gulf Station on Cedar St in Milford. We had made a reservation for this location and when we went to pick up the truck they told us the reservation got messed up and someone else was going to get that truck and they did not have another one to give us. So we had to now scramble to find another one somewhere else.Also no one contacted us to let us know that it had been now switched to a location that was not near our home and we were very inconvienced and received terrible customer service at this location.

Unfortunately the printer was not working the morning of rental, so I was required to take a screen shot of the laptop from my phone and the rental information which was glare-y and not sharp. The gas in the truck was between 3/4 and 7/8th. I gassed it up to 3/4+ on my return, but was hit with a $6.38 fuel charge. Annoying. Had I had the print out I would have caught the actual gauge read out on gassed up appropriately on my return. Also, it's weird the truck was not rented with a full tank, as this makes it much easier to return full. Seeing it's a gas station rental location this seemed even more odd. Lastly, the attendant couldn't tell me if using the Mass Pike accrued additional charges over and above the actual toll. He said " I get the question all the time and I don't know the answer" Really?!? Maybe time to find out. Especially given the location is 3 miles from the Mass Pike.

Attendant had no knowledge of the equipment; how to attach the trailer, no safety instructions etc.The trailer chain was broken, ball hitch in poor condition. I had to attach the trailer myself. *Uhaul System was down, had to travel an hour to pick up trailer, never given receipt or information/ day/ time of drop or signed for the trailer. *Trailer was damaged and leaked/ water damage to belongs. I have rented from Uhaul several times, this experience was awful.

I ordered online a 15' truck with 3 dollies (1 of each offered type) and 2 sets of 12 furniture pads. I scheduled a pick up at 10am and I needed the truck for a full day (24 hours). The system gave me until next day at noon (26 hours) to return the truck, and that was very nice! So I did an online check-in so expedite my time at the pick up location... I showed up at 9:50am at the pick up location and I'm greeted by a young man, that basically went thru all the questions I had already answered online... that was tedious, but I was in a good mood. After 15 minutes of answering all the same questions, I finally got the key of the truck and the gentleman pointed me to the outside saying that he would be right there with all the equipment I ordered.... Well, I waited around 10 minutes there, and I went back to the office, the gentleman is working on another rental instead of getting my equipment and letting me go! That was pretty bad. I complained, and he said "I'll be there in a minute"... So in 5 minutes the other couple that was working on the rental, gets their truck and leave, while I'm still waiting... Eventually, this guy comes with 2 dollies and a bunch of pads. I noticed that 1 dolly was missing and I complain and he asks me back "do you really want 3 dollies?"... at that time I had already paid for 3 dollies, so why ask me if I want what I paid for?!?!! This is 10:30 when I finally get the truck loaded, but I was so upset that I left the gas station without checking everything... Needless to say that the truck didn't have the 5/8 tank as in the contract, and the 2 sets of 12 pads, became ONLY 3 pads!!! I also noticed (later) that in the contract, the guy changed the delivery time from 12pm next day to 12AM next day, meaning, I LOST 12 hours of rental because this gentleman didn't know the difference between AM and PM. I called the gas station and that same guy said "I'll fix the documentation"... Well, he didn't.

No one checked the truck, no one checked the mileage. He said, "All I need are the keys, you're good to go." He complained about how whenever he submits information to U-Haul, he gets rejected and has to start over many times. This was not a thorough or efficient place to drop the truck. I would like to know that there are no unexpected charges at a later date because of improper inspection of truck at turn in.

I would just feel better if someone did a check of the truck upon return. Other than that great service. It made for a real easy move and wasnt expensive although my account was charged incorrectly.

The app was confusing and it wasn’t clear how to do 24 hour pickup. The video didn’t say you had to use the web site. It also took too long to verify license, couldn’t I have done that the day before? Also it made me do 24hour pickup, but the location was open and in the end I just had the clerk help me do it. The site should have known the location was open.

Super easy drop off. Just gave the keys to the gas station attendant and he initiated having my receipt emailed to me. Took 1 minute.

I was happy to see van only had 40k but when reaching 40 mph steering wheel would shake constantly. When applying brake steering wheel and brake pedal pulsate. At my destination I inspected tires which were barely showing tread!!!

The staff (Joe) in the morning was great as was the staff later that night before closing around 7:30pm. My issue is that I was told I could do a self check out at 7am and I reserved the truck at 7am. Had to call uhaul and was told I would need to wait until 8 to get keys from the staff in the mobil station. I was never told that online!!!!

I had trouble getting a confirmed booking of the vehicle that I wanted at the location I wanted. From the central U-Haul system, I was told that this location could only guarantee a cargo van, but when I arrived at the site, they had a plentiful supply of trucks.

Yes, but... The location was not able to connect their computer to the UHaul system or the internet. After repeated attempts the manager went to the back and got a second system booted up and finally, after a half hour, I was on my way. I had done the express check in that bling it would save time. Nope. The manager was very courteous and solved the problem. The location owner should do a better job ensuring the internet connection is up and working as part of the store open process.

There are a few locations that are closer to where I live, but they do not have trailers, did not have a trailer for me. The trailer looked brand new and clean.
