The employee that helped me was very helpful
Every time I go to rent, there always seems to be only one member of the staff there to handle all the people waiting. It can take a long time. I know that it is probably due to the lack of being able to hire goo people too.
I rented a car dolly, contract number 28289747. Picked it up and delivered it to Bountiful Location, 2150 S 500W, Bountiful UT, 84010. The pick up was fine, but the return was horrible. Employee, Brandon (at least that what he said) told me to drop it off and he'll email a receipt. I told him I'm not comfortable with that. He said, "all of you people are deciding to return stuff right now and I don't have time to give you a receipt.." I walked inside to wait and another employee, Terry, asked if he could help me. I explained the situation and Terry gave me a receipt. Brandon came in and Terry explained that the receipt was given and Brandon had to inspect the dolly. Brandon looked at me and said, "this is un-fucking real!" He said that in front of my ten year old son and a witness that was with me. I demandeed to know the Manager's name and number, but was told "we're not giving it to you." Terry finally gave me a business card for Jeffry Ward. I called and left a message, but that person did not call me back. I am SO UPSET and do not plan to drop this. I will call corporate if I have to. Someone needs to call me ASAP. Recommend adding staff for busy hours
The man working the location was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. Even though you could tell he was swamped with work, he still took time to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and that we were taken care of.
The Assistant Manager, Brandon, went above and beyond for me. When I went to rent my trailer, Brandon asked me if I had a ball to hook up the trailer to.I forgot to check to see if my ball was still there before coming but I was surprised that my ball was missing. I was very upset. Brandon immediately got a new ball for me and empathetically spoke to me about not worrying. He said he would take care of the price. He took the time to hook it up and explained how everything worked. He showed me the phone # to call if there was an emergency or I needed roadside assistance. He made sure that I felt comfortable with everything and reassured me that it was going to be a good trip. When My daughter moves to our new state, we will be definitely renting our moving truck from Brandon. He really cares about making sure people get to their destination safely.

Brandon Barker was on shift to do intake of our 26-footer. He told me that 2 people had quit that day, so he was on shift by himself. He did everything he could to help me out for keeping the truck an extra day and half. I should've been called by his boss about returning the truck, but I never received a call. I showed him my call history and told me I never received a call. When I told him that, he waived the $42 fee for keeping the truck longer than I was supposed to have it. And I was able to get back my $100 deposit in full. He really went above and beyond to help me out and I'm extremely grateful. U-Haul should really take notice and value this man, because his customer service is through the roof.
I would absolutely recommend this U-Haul location to my family, friends, and neighbors and I have, actually! We regularly rent different sized and types of trailers to accomplish varied household and yard chores, etc. We especially appreciate working with both Brandon and Jeffry. We have found Brandon to be especially accommodating and to have excellent customer service. He is very friendly, outgoing, and willing to go the extra mile to have happy, satisfied customers!! We have only had very positive interactions/experiences every time we are there, which is quite often recently. You will be very pleased with every aspect of the rental process!
A couple days after returning my rental 2 hours earlier than my reservation called for, I received a charge on my card for an extra day. When I called customer service they said their records showed I returned it a day late! This place sucks! The guy came out, unhooked the trailer, and sent us on our way, we had no way of proving the date and time of our drop off. They should implement a receipt policy with time and date of drop off! This was an annoying experience, because they also put a $110 hold on my payment card, which in turn caused me to not be able to make a payment for something else, because I couldn't get to my money!
Have better customer service as far as how your employees treat people! Brandon I think was his name was completely rude I walked out of there in tears because of how he was talking to me. He wasn't willing to be more helpful then doubtful about the entire situation, after me driving from Layton to begin with. There was no mention of any type of deposit what so ever! And that's me stating from the Layton location, that made my reservation. Then I get there and get told I must have a 100$ deposit and that it has to be on credit card. Okay ? Then they wouldn't take any cash either? the girl in Layton knew I had cash and why didn't she mention anything to me about this deposit? I thought the point of the credit card being on file was enough As it was. No where in any advertising or pamphlets did it talk about any kind of deposit? So extremely poor advertising! Nothing about that entire situation made it worth is honestly and then how much the overall charge was at the end was NOT worth the money. I felt robbed at that point. I would like to say your employee named terry was much more kinder and more helpful during my transaction he definitely went above and and beyond to make the experience more comfortable overall. He did what he could to make best of the problems and how I was being treated.

Great customer service
Bountiful office was great! However I made reservation in Centerville and when I called to verify that I was picking up in Centerville they said they didn't have trucks there even though I had a confirmed reservation. They gave me a number to call that said indeed I should pick up in Bountiful. It was confusing. Bountiful however did everything right
Pickup Process was very professional and caring and couldn't ask for better. However, the dropoff was the opposite. Walked in at 7:03 with the doors open and asked the two employees behind the desk I wanted to drop off the Uhaul. They gave me the response of "We are closed, you can drop it off for late drop off for 20 bucks." First of all, I had till 8 pm to drop off and was early so I didn't have to do the after-hours drop-off. They didn't even look me in the eye it shows the slightest motive to help. The employees walked out and drove away. One drove an old red Mazda Miata and the other a newer black Mada 3. Unbelievable and it shouldn't matter that they closed officially 3 minutes before. The doors were open and seem like they didn't care to help for one or two more minutes. Bad customer service and don't pick up the phone. Besides the fact, the Uhaul was very scary to drive as the steering felt like it was barely connected to the steering rack! check the steering before you get far!
Answer the phone. I wanted to upgrade my size of vehicle was unable to do so because the phone was not answered.
