Took forever to get the booking. No ones credit card was working. He would have to put charges through on debit but would double the amount deposit the initially wanted to on credit cared. Took me one hour to get the keys for the truck.

The sales person was unprofessionally. When I reserved the uhaul for Saturday 4:30 PM he told me ok and they work till 5 pm . On Suturday he called me at 3:50 and said they going to close at 4:00 PM. And I was just hitting to my doctor's appointment. On Google it also said working hours till 5 PM plus on the information desk it said working hours till 5 PM. THE sales person explained he need to go AT 4 AND HE WILL CLOSE THE LOCATION NO MATTER MY RESERVATION! Moreover , that I can complain and he didn't mind it at all . I WILL definitely love my comments about on Google, other peaple should know they might won't get their Uhaul on time at this Symon's valley location. P.s. my Uhaul rental experience cost me loosing my doctor's appointment that I have waiting for 3 month. So disappointed!

Extremely poor customer service. No staff on site upon arrival, and we had so wait over half hour for service. The experience was disappointing and frustrating.

Staff were available and knowledgeable and wanted to make the experience as good as possible. However, UHaul’s computer system was slow and had not saved any of the preclearance information I had entered the day earlier. This made a routine check-in more than an hour long. Not related to the location, the trailer lighting wiring harness had some small intermittent shorts that made the lights drop out until I had adjusted the wiring to move the rubbed through area away from the trailer frame. A little supplementary protection might be warranted.

I booked a dropoff in Cochrane AB. A day before my drop off I got a call from them and they say there was an error with UHAUL they werent accepting dropoffs due to construction. They mentioned they had advised this to UHAUL numerous times to change on online booking. They graciously called UHAUL service to have my drop off on 14555 symons valley calgary. This meant travelling 40 km further. The gas tank was above 1/2 tank when I picked up and above 1/2 tank when I dropped off. At drop off the attendant said I could just drop off and he would look at afterwards. I was charged another $33 for fuel as said I shorted. I regret not taking a picture of the gas guage. So in summary I had to travel a further 40 km because UHAUL dropped the ball in booking and then you charged me for extra fuel. The lesson learned is don't use the drop off. Wait and walk through with attendant Alternatively, why don't you do like every other rental company. The vehicle is checked out with a full tank and you are responsible to return with a full tank. It becomes subjective when you are working on partial tanks at check in or check out.

Please keepp snow removal brush or keep the vehicles ready for drive condition, ofcourse this time the snow was too early. The vehicle wind shield was completetely covered with wet hard snow.

The agent there had no idea what was going on we felt like. He came over to ask if we needed help as we were working our way through the app but then left suddenly. When the app directed us to go see him to get the code for our key, he had no idea what we were talking about.. he finally called and told us the key to our truck was not there and eventually gave us a new key to a truck that was just returned... while he argued with the woman returning it. It took over an hour just to pick up the truck when it was supposed to be an automated self serve process. I tried to use the chat feature on the app and someone did originally respond but when I inquired about the problems we were having at that location and asked if she could help, she magically disappeared. It was so frustrating. I would never use this location again.

Owner of this Uhaul was very rude. He called me to return 42 blankets that we rented. We were initially told that for a cross border move the blankets are for purchase only. As we were under thir impression we had purchased the blankets, this uhaul owner proceeded to threaten me over the phone that if the blankets were not returned I would "never be able to rent from uhaul again". A) He had me on hold for a very long time trying to find my contract. I offered to email him a copy of our contract, he refused. Then offered for him to pay my cell phone bill, and suddenly he had then contract. The blankets were returned. B) He had now charged us for late drop off when the trucks were dropped off two days early. This man is rude, & threatening in his phone behavior. He had no people or service skills. His behavior that I have experienced is deplorable.

The customer service I recieved from a number of different locations in the city were nothing short of repulsive. There's no chance I'll ever consider using uhaul in the future. How things got to this point without corporate intervention is bewildering. I can only imagine that lack of alternatives is the only explanation as to how this company can afford to stay in business. Such a disappointing change from my previous experiences only a few years ago.

System didn’t work, had to set up contract over the phone. Place is a dump, truck was messy and did not drove well. You need to move to a system where you provide the customer with a full tank so they don’t have to guess how to fill it to a quarter tank. U-Haul is never pleasant to work with but your prices are too good.

The pickup was fairly straightforward, although the computer system seemed to have several problems. The reservation process was very frustrating, especially when I called a few days before the date to ask a question about my reservation. I then found out that my reservation was not able to be met as all the vehicles were already dispatched. What was the point of calling in advance if you are not going to actually reserve the vehicle? Very frustrating to say the least and you almost lost my business.

Pick up was slow. Asked the same questions as was on the online pre-pickup order form. No reason to take the time to do the online form as it did not make any difference. The office was closed during drop off at 2 pm, even though the hours stated on the door was 3pm. Had to call in order to find out the process when nobody is in the office. Very poor service.

I had booked a truck for Saturday morning at the Blackfoot location, when I called to confirm that morning there was no truck for me. The staff didn’t care at all, there was not even an apology and it was made to seem as if it was my fault. I had to go to the opposite end of the city to pick up a truck and they company could not even cover the cost of the additional 60kms I had to drive. The service with this company is some of the worst service I have ever experienced.

This place is horrible. The person who works there says anything and everything to sell the service. He said, he can cancel the insurance if if I called him in half an hour after if I find that my car insurance covers for it. I called him after 5 minutes and he did not keep his words. They charged me for 30km more than what was driven. This is a bad and disgusting place. I won’t use you guys again if this is ur policy. If you need to talk to me, pls call @ 4037196954.
