I returned the van less than 2 hours after I picked it up, after traveling just over 13 miles. They didn't register my return time so I had to call back days later for them to straighten out the rental charges. Then, when I got the final receipt, I found they had charged me for an additional 33 miles. No one answered when I attempted to call to resolve this second issue, and their voicemail message did not make it clear that they were a U-Haul dealer.LINDSAY N.

The person who gave us the truck stole $12 from us and claimed we didn't purchase a dolly when we definitely already did. Said we had to pay cash if we wanted one and gave us an extremely small one.Alex C.
The owner of the store did not take me to the truck and go over anything. He just told me "heres the key, its in the back of the building". He didn't look at the mileage or the fuel level with me. Nothing. I didn't even know what truck to take. The windshield wipers were old and in bad shape. I traveled from Denver to Phoenix in Snow, rain and hail. It really stressed me out not having good wipers. I made sure Pecos storage where I dropped it off knew about the wipers.CHRISTINE C.
Took close to 2 hours to get a truck that was already reserved because the store had only 1 worker on a Saturday. Not sure if the â€œuhaul guyâ€ was more interested in running his furniture shop or managing the truck rentals. There were only 3 people in front of me but the process was never ending. Took 15 minutes alone just to get an â€œagentâ€ on the phone which I thought was weird. Other uhaul places signed me off and gave me paperwork directly. At this one the guy had to call another guy which was a waste of time. Not sure why the first guy was needed. Truck was clean but was a bit beat up with close to 120k miles. Not much instruction on return of truck. All he stated when I left was â€œ please return the truck as soon as possible.â€ I thought this was weird knowing I had rented it for 24 hours. Staff needs more training and more help. One worker for a furniture shop/uhaul rental facility on a Saturday is unacceptable.Peter K.
Do not visit this location!! You will be charged any extra penny they can get from you. Rented a trailer for 4 hours, picked it up trailer covered in mud and the employee was very short and rude. Returned the trailer before closing went in to get final receipt and the employee was busy trying to sell furniture to another upset customer and told me to just go I'm â€œall goodâ€ two days later I get a notification I was charged an additional 3 times the original amount I had paid for the four hrs.... after almost two hours on the phone with Uhaul customer service found out that they still have not checked in my trailer three days later! Believe me I won't get scammed by anyone like this and will never use or recommend this poorly ran â€œbusinessâ€ out of a furniture shop. The owner/ employee had no intentions of helping me get my money refunded, if it was not for uhauls awesome customer service employees I would have never had a chance to get my scammed money back. I wanted to do a no contact pick up and it was said to be available once I made the booking. There were zero instructions provided to get the keys from the lockbox so I still had to spend 20 mins talking to someone to obtain keys. I returned my rental before deadline the same day, swept it out, etc and took photos. 2 days later I received a bill for 3x the amount. After about an hour long conversation with uhaul, I was finally able to receive a refund. Total hassle from start to finishPHILIP M.
They are not at all responsible . I returned the vehicle on the same day with in 3.5 hours , but they reported saying it was returned after 3 days . Also I drove only 19 miles , but it was reported 119 miles. When I tried to speak them they were not at all listening to my concern and disconnected the call very rudely when I was speaking. Still I am fighting for my refund with the Uhaul Corporate because of this people negligence and recklessness. I will surely not recommend to any of my friends because I don't want my friends to face this .Sai P.
FIrst, the vehicle I rented was NOT on the lot when I arrived. Should I have been awarded the U-Haul $50 guarantee? After waiting for 30minutes for two different people at the contractor's location to search for the keys and the vehicle I was supposed to drive away with, I was given a different vehicle. I was told there was an error on the contractor's part and paperwork would need to be resubmitted to corporate to update my contract with the correct vehicle number. However, since it would take time for the contractor to make the proper contact to correct the vehicle number on my reservation I was encouraged to go instead of wait. It was my moving day afterall and I had several stops to make and a few others' schedules to coordinate with that day. Several hours into my move, I began to receive multiple emails and text notifications regarding my NEW contract and that I should pick up at a Highlands Ranch location. The notices said call to "confirm" so I did not call about any of the notifications I would receive over the course of the next five days. I put 130 miles on the vehicle I was issued and returned it EARLY. Second, when the bill arrived it contained information from the original vehicle I was issued and NOT the van I actually drove. The mileage on my billing statement is excessive (227 miles) and does not list the terms of the contract I agreed to ($79/ 8hrs + 125mi, then $0.29/mi thereafter). Last, when I called the location to ask about the inaccurate billing information, the contractor who answered the phone insisted I call U-Haul billing directly because he could do nothing about the mix-up and did not supply me with contact information. I will be calling the 800-GO-U-HAUL number next. I am highly dissatisfied with the way this contract was handled.Angela L.

Location was sketchy the guy made do the rental through a speaker phone call.... Was the only location that really had the van we needed so we had to use it. Got charged a cleaning fee which I've never seen before idk if it's because of covid but that was a bit ridiculous. Car sounded funny didnt really run smooth like other trucks i drove. I left it on full and they still charged me for gas..... Dont recommend going to this location.COURTNEY B.

Really disappointed in the way my reservation was handled. I reserved a 20' truck and an auto transport and picked a location close to my house. The day before my pick-up, I received a txt that my pick-up was moved 40 MILES AWAY and that the auto transport was at another location! When I called customer service I was told â€œyou should have read your contractâ€ and â€œwe got you a truck and a trailer, what more do you want? There's a shortage of trucksâ€. The worst CX I've ever had. When I picked up the auto transport, it was at a location with a fleet of trucks so why did I have to get split up in the first place??? Now I'm fighting because I was charged for an extra day even though my reservation was for 7 days, and I returned both the truck and the auto transport on the 7th day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND U-HAUL TO ANYONE. Not unless you absolutely have to, or if you're up for a fight.Michael M.
I worked with two gentlemen for my Saturday rental (I'm sorry but I've forgotten their names). They were both incredibly helpful, patient, and accommodating. They made the experience seamlessly efficient and very productive. As an individual who helps many families transition into different types of housing and locations throughout south Denver Metro, I will ABSOLUTELY recommend that they utilize this specific location for their UHaul needs.Albert B.

Vehicle was in decent shape. My truck was parked so close to another truck that I could barely get in. Also could not use the mirrors when backing out because it the truck was wedged in so tight. This is a huge safety hazard having to back out blind. Could easily hit another car or pedestrian. Also a great way to damage a vehicle right out of the gate if you are not proficient in backing out with another truck that is one inch away. This location needs to consider the customer when setting their trucks the night before.John F.
