Staff was friendly and courteous. Problem with fuel level in truck when returning. Based on paperwork supplied, I put more fuel into the truck then was required to return to the rented level. Either paperwork or fuel gauge was bad.

The person who helped me, had the name tag of "General Manager". Person was rude, condescending, repeatedly stated that I had a reservation with all info. Ignored me, and proceed to "do it all over"...Less than acceptable customer service. Vehicle was left by the driveway running. No inspection, no explanation, no instructions, no overview of present damage. Mud on outside of vehicle and some inside. One way to FL and truck only had 5/8 tank of fuel. Not Uhauls best day, nor best example of customer service.

I find it very aggravating that I was sent to the Warren Location to pick up my equipment when I arrived I was told equipment was not there I needed to find another location I booked my equipment 3 weeks in advance. Why was I sent running across town 30 minutes prior to uHaul closing ?

Only really one problem, which I'm sure the lady at the counter didnt know until she brought the truck up front, but I was told gas was at half a tank and I didnt notice until I pulled on to the main road that gas was not at half but at a quarter.

Took the time to set everything up and talk to the people at the Clinton Township U-Haul, To make it smooth for the removal of U boxes...Didn’t turn out that way. You need to get these people to do their job or hire more people if that’s the problem with not enough employees to handle things correctly. I will never use this U-Haul for service of any kind ever again. I never had such a hard time of trying to pay the bill monthly on time, they could never find me online so I had to every month car wait forever on the phone to be able to pay for my bill. Horrible horrible service

Everything went well other than when I tried to return it after hours. The website wasn't picking up my location I called U-Haul and was on hold for 25 minutes waiting to speak to somebody . Other than that it went great thank you.

Typically rude people that don’t follow through correctly. We chose a return location and the rep at the Mt Clemens location chose a different one. We knew our exact location and returned it there. Followed up with calls, online check in and follow up stop at location. What more can a customer do???

When my husband arrived to pick the truck up at the reserved time, the truck was not there!! What is the point in a reservation if you’re not going to have the truck? The lady that was in the office was extremely rude, non Apologetic, and didn’t care that we had to wait 30 mins for the truck to come back, which put us behind on our move. We used uhaul for every move that we have ever done, even across country, but I will NEVER use uhaul again!

The truck did have a smell of urine in it almost like someone took a towel or rag that was used for cleaning the bathroom and wiped the truck down with it. That was a challenge during my drive. At this location, I reserved a 10' truck and trailer for my Nissan Rogue a week in advance to my move on Friday September 27th. I picked up the truck at 7am Friday morning and gave an "estimated" pick up time for the trailer by 2-3pm. I received a all around 4pm asking "do I still need the trailer" by one of the two younger gentleman working the desk. This caught me off guard and I responded, "no one gave instruction that I should call if I am arriving a little later". At that time I let them know I would be there by 6pm. I then received a call around 5 or 5:30pm that "there was no trailer available" and that there was nothing they could do. The younger gentleman stated that a "man coming from Chicago was due in at 2pm, but was running late". So he stated that he was not able to get anything for me and that there was "nothing he could do". So bewildered, shocked, horrified, and in disbelief I called the 800 Traffic line and explained my situation. By that time it was 6 or 6:30pm and I had to be in Traverse City to do my midnight shift. A lady assisted me and found another trailer at another far away location in Warren (13 mile and Ryan) and I speeded off in the Uhaul truck to get the trailer to be back in time or the "younger gentlemen" at the Gratiot location would not be able to assist me if I didn't make it there by 7:45pm (and will be charged for the round trip miles I had to do to get the trailer). SOOOOOO, I raced in a panic as fast as I could back to the Gratiot store arriving by 7:35pm and was able to get voice-guided assistance in the steps to secure my vehicle. I have never trailered a vehicle before so I was pretty intimated. In any case the young guys that night were not helpful to the situation, never at any time called other stores to help me locate a trailer, and were indifferent to really assisting me. I essentially became a Uhaul employee and found my own trailer using the 800 TRAFFIC number! The feeling of having the rug pulled out from under you at the 11th hour in the midst of a move was incredibly traumatizing and really don't feel that I should have to pay for this move. I love your company and was completing my 3rd move to get all my belonging to the Traverse City area, but this experience left quite an impression.
