The experience was a very frustrating one at least. First of all, this is a barber shop, not a Uhaul store. A very loud barber shop if I may add. Secondly, I reserved the truck, furniture pads and furniture dolly way in advance, however, on the moving day, I was told there were no furniture pads nor the dolly. I was sent to a different location to get those, but the two persons working at the Uhaul located at 1003 Zimalcrest refused to cooperate. I showed them my Uhaul reservation including all the items, yet they said they either don't have it or can't rent it to me because I didn't rent the truck from them. I rented the truck from Uhaul, I was sent to a Uhaul store, and I was talking to Uhaul representatives, but I guess that wasn't enough for those two. I went back to the truck pick up location and the guy in charge told me he doesn't have access to the furniture pads and dolly because he is simply receiving the truck as is and hands over the key to whoever rented it. Then he told me to try another Uhaul store across the city, as if I had more time to waste. I was charged for the items I haven't received. I asked that he takes them off my contract and refunds the money. I never received a new contract to this day. With these guys there seems to be a one way communication line. Nobody takes responsibility for the job, they "throw the dead cat" from one to another, if you try to talk to someone, you can't reach anyone by email or phone, although you get reminders and email about your reservation. All in all, it was an incredibly frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend Uhaul or these locations to anyone. Horrible services and horrendous communication with customers!

Kind of shady area. Very dark, no clear indicator of where to drop the truck. Looks like an alley.
