The online pickup was very confusing and time consuming. There should be a clearer explanation of what is needed. (Ie Hgogle Chrome, location services should be turned on, picture of drivers license needed) The checkin process took almost 20 minutes and was very frustrating.DENNIS L.
I don't know. I told the guy at the counter I needed 30 miles and he put down 15. The mileage charge was excessive. I did not care for the lady who checked in the vehicle.Russell B.
Walked in the building and the clerk came unglued because I had no mask didn't appreciate her tone or demeanor. Basically thru me out of the store had to tell her I was returning a truck and had to be pushy to tell her that! Then was told to put keys in drop box and they would check it in later. So no inspection nor could I tell her the check engine light was on.CHESTER A.
Uhaul has some sketchy locations that overcharged me in the past. This location is really the only one I want to deal with. They are always on point respectable at this Vandalia Hardware store.Thomas K.

Terrible experience. Incredibly inconvenient hours forced me to do online p/u and drop off. Online p/u and drop off requires an account to be made which was a nightmare. The original online account I made would not work, I had to call customer service 3 times and waited more than 40 minutes on the phone before speaking to a person. I'm pretty uhaul has 1 person answering their phone for customer service. I actually had to just go ahead and make another account with a different email since uhaul customer service couldn't fix my original account or get me logged into it. Oh and by the way the uhaul truck sounded like it was going to explode every time you slow down and the transmission downshifted. Crap truck, crap service and crap hours from p/u location. It was a crappy experience all the way around. Do yourself a favor and look at the other truck rentals in your area.Matt H.

I was not aware that there was an e- mail to respond to and if cost me 20.00 . I would never pay 20.00 to have someone respond for me. I had the truck back before 11:00! Very unhappy with this . Did not know was billed for the 20.00 and it hit my bank account!!!TERESA W.

It was my first time renting a Uhaul. I was unable to get answers to my questions from either the location that I picked up or uhaul.com. I don't think you should have to sign a contract without knowing what your drop off location. The representative at the Butler Township location did not ask where I wanted to drop off, he didn't tell me anything! He didn't even go outside and go over the uhaul with me. The equus was clean and did very well, but your employees are less than helpful.Shannon J.
There are medical reasons people can NOT wear masks!!! To be so RUDELY escorted out of the location....never again will we show up at that store. We will go to our large chains; Ace, Lowes, Menards...never again! Your Uhaul rep treated us with with complete disrespect and made me feel like a criminal trying to rent!!! I was charged over $300 for what was advertised as $19.95, I paid over $50 at the location upon pickup of the vehicle and am completely disgusted with the charges that were applied. I drove less than 30 miles round trip and was charged over 4x more than the original be in store charge . I am disputing this charge due to the fact that the charges are outrageous and I will never again do any business with uhaul. For now on all my business goes elsewhere.ellen O.

Although I didn't use the Truck Share option for after-hours pickup or drop-off, it was nice to know it was there if I needed it. The customer service on the phone (1-800-GoUHaul) and at the store, as well as the in-person customer service at the store were all great. I appreciated that the system worked so well and reduced my stress on moving day!Ann F.
There was some confusion with scheduling and no one knew why my reservation was changed but things got worked out. Moving is stressful enough without thinking you wouldn't have a truck the day before.Dan F.
