The man working the desk should be responsible for checking the vehicle in. I shouldn't have to go back outside to take a picture for him. He should do that himself. Because of this confusion, I accidentally locked the keys inside, had to pay to get the door opened, and even had to pay an extra 29.95 for another â€œdayâ€ of rental. Mind you I rented the truck from 2:30-5:15...same day. Only 3 hours. Yet he charged me an extra day because I didn't get the key to him by 5. I 100% fault him for not checking the truck himself and I was out a big chunk of money because of his laziness.

Van cab was not vacuumed with pet hair on the seats and food pieces on the floor with two other sets of contracts from other customers in the van. Uhaul mobile app did not work allowing pickup nor drop-off via the app. Had to enter the convenience store both times. Customer service in the store was good and friendly and quick but location and environment outside the store includes lots of transient people and people playing the video games at the back of the store making it feel unsafe to the average person.
The guys at this location seemed nice but the vehicle was filthy inside and out. So much bird poop on the windows you couldn't see out. Inside was full of trash and snack droppings. I found disinfectant on the floor but the can was filthy. I also have never had to put gas in a vehicle to leave the lot. Seriously only had a 1/4 of a tank of gas in it.
when i arrived and informed the man I was here to drop off my truck he looked at me like i was crazy. he said he wasnt expecting any trucks. i told him i had a reservation and this was the drop off location. he asked for my name and found it. zero customer service did not act like he had a care in the world never even came around the desk to inspect the vehicle or equipmemt just asked for miles and fuel level. won't be back, ever!

Even if I have to travel further, I will only visit U-Haul specific locations from now on, as opposed to satellite locations like this one. The lack of oversight at this location was rough.
The process of completing the initial paperwoirk was cumbersome since this establishment is also a convenience store, there were several times that the attendant had to stop to help other customers. The reason I rated the clean and well maintained question as No was due to the outside cleanliness of the van. The interior was clean and well maintained. However, the outside of the van was completely covered in bird droppings, to the point that I was always looking where I was putting my hand before I would close the van doors. This is not a good appearance for the Uhaul brand, in my opinion, to have a van in this condition of appearance on the road and in use. When I returned the van, since this establishment is also a convenoience store and it was later in the evning, the attendant said that it was up to me take a picture of the odometer and fuel gauge so he would have the mileage and fuelk level to check the van back in. I assume this is due to the attendant not being able to leave the store unattended to gather this information himself. Overall, I have had much better experiences renting from other Uhaul dealers in the past.
There was confusion between the price at the location and the price online. The person at the gas station was on the phone with UHAul Corporate on Speaker phone and UHaul Corporate agreed with me that I should not be charged $10 Protection Fee, as I declined it according to the system. The person at the gas station said his system could not remove the fee so UHaul Corporate said she would refund the $10 fee. I will have to check back and ensure that happens. Otherwise, the person at the gas station was friendly. The Van worked fine for what I needed it for (a 3 mile trip to pick up my mattress from Sams). James
Vehicle was covered in bird poop. Clean vehicles after every use.
When I arrived, half of the accessories I booked online we're not there. I spent 45 minutes of my moving day waiting there only to find out that they couldn't get me the items I needed and couldn't figure out how to adjust the system to not charge me for the missing items. Their best solution was to send me to another U-Haul location to get the items I'd reserved. I arrived at that location (and waited another 45 minutes) only to find out that they didn't have what I needed either. So I wasted 2 hours, gas, and mileage jumping through hoops only to end up not having the items I needed. We moved several large appliances that day (including 2 refrigerators) without an appliance dolly because I reserved it and mistakenly expected it to be there a few days later when I showed up. This ridiculous hassle and lack of reserved equipment made for a VERY frustrating moving experience.
I felt mislead by the advertising I have been noticing (possibly for years) on Van's conspicuously displayed at a storage unit near a car wash I use. The blaring letters and colors and images of a cell convey the idea that I can use my phone and credit card to rent that van at that place at any time that it is there being hawked. I thought that was a great idea a determined to do just that next time I needed a van or truck. That day came o this last weekend. I spent almost three hours, till midnight Friday, on the app and live chat. In short, major runaround and frustration, bounced from one place to another, vehicle was dirty with Medical waste and I got on the road about 4 hours later than I intend. (The van itself wanes and in great mechanical condition) THE PHONE CHECKOUT IDEA IS GREAT. MAKE IT REAL AND ACCESSIBLE, rather than just another bait and switch!
The two people working the counter did not seem like they perform this service on a daily basis. Mainly a gas station that offer this service as an additional sales source.
We thought we had enough boxes so we didn't order them online and when we picked up the truck we wanted to purchase boxes and there was no boxes available at this location. Other than that my experience was excellent. Thank you
The truck was dirty and the fuel was recorded wrong . I should have taken a picture of the fuel gauge and turned it in before I left so that was my fault. Then uhaul tried to charge me another 30 dollars to drop it off at a location 30 miles from my destination. Total rip off. Beware of the fuel scam.

They had to call U Haul to log in, didn't know where the blankets were, gave us 12 (two packages) instead of the 24 blankets we paid for. The one individual at the station was selling to waiting customers while we waited to be helped. No written contract was provided.
Only 1 person was working at this location so we were VERY lucky my husband knew how to hook the trailer & the wiring to our vehicle! The contract correctly described the rental for 3 days but I got an email the U-haul was due back to the pick-up location the next day. The next day I had to call the location after receiving another email stating that the return was late! I explained the contract stated drop-off location a couple hundred miles away & rental for 3 days not 24 hours.
Attendant was very courteous and friendly. Would recommend this site to anyone that needs a U-Haul rental.
I didn't appreciate having to be skipped over and over to the extent that my check out took nearly an hour. I was wrongfully asked to wait aside for the cashier to attend to incoming customers. It was not my fault that I arrived first and need to step aside for every person who came in after me to check them out. This comes to show me how much this location cares for U-Haul customers. I have always used U-Haul to move my family and self and never before experience such an inconsiderate behavior. Please consider revoking your contract with gas stations that just want to make some commission by offering your pick up and return service ~ it gives you a bad name and awful experience.
location ok but when the clerk told us how much $, it was more than I was quoted . I asked why more and he said it was deposit we would get back when return truck, however, I found out that it was more because he charged insurance. we were never asked if we wanted the insurance or not. We did not get ANY $ back. should have been told upfront about the insurance and he was apparently mistaken about the deposit.
Location was great. U-Haul had to put me into a third location that was very far away due to scheduling conflicts. I will likely not use U-Haul again for the scheduling errors.
1 guy in a mini-mart trying to check me out and deal with his gas and mini-mart customer. He kept having to start over as he was away from the computer for too long taking care of other customers. They needed another employee working. It took quite a long time for me to get my trailer. He also knew nothing about the trailers. When I asked what size ball I needed he did not know there were 2 different size balls. Super nice young man though.
