Rented a toadolly from this location got half way up the road and the lights went out on the tow dolly tried for 3 hours to get roadside assistance or someone else so I could drop off the tow dolly at a closer location because that would have been the safe thing but then was told I would be charged an extra 122 just to drop it off at a closer location with an unsafe equipment. Customer service sucks maybe if you're going to have people renting things you should have people that actually answer the phoneKIMBERLY P.

The gas was not at the level indicated. They said it would be fixed. When I turned the vehicle in I was forced to pay for the extra gas.MANUEL D.
Put up signs on the property to guide individuals returning equipment. Provide help to customers in returning items. Trailers for example are quite heavy and need two people to remove from the hitch. A little help would have been nice rather than just pointing to the back of the lot.NEAL M.

Your online reservations program assigned a drop-off location over 35miles from my drop-off point. I had to call your phone line to arrange to drop at the Uhaul dealer just up the street vs the 70mile round-trip the computer selected for me. Fix this if you want to increase rentals. Had I been required to return your trailer at the initially assigned location I would not have used your trailer at all.Daryl P.
I called at 230 to pick up the uhaul and was informed it had not been returned and just to check back later. We had a very limited window of time to move and I had no idea that would even be a possibility. I thought if I reserved one, it would be there. At first I was not given any options until I became upset with the attendant. They were busy with their other customers. I called again at 5pm and 7pm, but they stated it was not ready. We decided to drive down to get a smaller unto at 9pm and the unit was there and had been there for a few hours (we were told we would get a call when it came in). The manager first told me it was not there and I insisted it was in the parking lot so he checked. He was not very patient when asking for my contact info and even interrupted me giving him an additional phone number because it was similar to my main number. It was a very stressful experience and I will not use that location again, but will also clarify any future reservation to make sure they have a truck at the time I need one. I missed a whole afternoon and night of moving and spent most of Saturday night (until 1am) making up for it.CHRISTA M.

They did not supply me with a contract nor information on the drop off location. We had ask for blankets. They did not supply any. This was the worst experience I ever had with u haulGARNETT T.
Rarely do I bother writing a negative review or file a complaint but this was an exceptionally poor experience every step of the way. From the inexcusable and continuous miscommunications about the availability of the equipment I required up to only a couple of days before our move, to the ineptitude of the staff at the pickup location on two occasions that resulted in (literally) two hours of my day wasted standing in their facility while they tried to figure out who I was and what I needed, to the multiple calls to roadside assistance to tend to an incredibly ill-kept piece of equipment, to my sacrificing another three hours of a different day assisting a roadside assistance technician retrieve his own equipment because he couldn't be bothered to do it on his own, to the lack of a license plate which resulted in me having to print one out and carry in our tow vehicle which I came to find out upon my return was absolutely not acceptable. This was the kind of nightmare experience you hear about happening to other people but dismiss as overblown and not actually possible. With the exception of my calls (plural) for roadside assistance which were quite attentive even if the service rep yawned in my ear twice on one call without so much as acknowledging they did and my calls to schedulers (two) who seemed to be the only Uhaul representatives who weren't an embarrassment to the brand, the hold times when calling Uhaul for any other type of service are an insult to your customers' time. Throughout my rental experience, I would estimate I had to call up to eight different times to deal with varying levels of incompetence by Uhaul staff and representatives and the average hold time (this is real, not an exaggeration) was just shy of 20 minutes. I thought once or twice would be an anomoly but I quickly learned this is standard operating procedure. Uhaul, you are in desperate need of a customer service restructuring.Michael C.

Owner was not very personable and we had to bring in all of the blankets, utility dolly, and 2 furniture dollies by hand and had to walk from the back of the building through the store to drop off the equipment after moving all day. At first, they did not want to take the truck because the dolly was not on truck. A lot of time was loss waiting to see if I could leave the truck at the drop off location. At the end, I was able to leave the truck at the drop off location.CHARMONY P.
After having a reservation in a Madison branch be moved two days before pick up to lack of the correct size available then going to the other Madison Branch where my reservation was changed to I got there to find out that I could not take that truck because it had no tread on the tires. Had the vehicle been checked earlier I would have known and instead would not have had to scramble and get stressed. Thankfully I was able to receive the phone number of the area manager and they were able to get me over to the Eatonton location after much chaos. I would recommend that your employees check the vehicle for safety before the guests arrive for pick up not just at the same time with guests.William K.

I had 2 trucks reserved in Greensboro, GA. On the day of move they didn't have either truck. So I spent a lot of time and money on getting different trucks. Totally unacceptable. And all I got was â€œsorryâ€. So I paid more in unnecessary mileage on both trucks and paid labor $120/hr to sit around and wait until I showed up with a truck. Your scheduling is terrible!
