After having a reservation in a Madison branch be moved two days before pick up to lack of the correct size available then going to the other Madison Branch where my reservation was changed to I got there to find out that I could not take that truck because it had no tread on the tires. Had the vehicle been checked earlier I would have known and instead would not have had to scramble and get stressed. Thankfully I was able to receive the phone number of the area manager and they were able to get me over to the Eatonton location after much chaos. I would recommend that your employees check the vehicle for safety before the guests arrive for pick up not just at the same time with guests.

I had 2 trucks reserved in Greensboro, GA. On the day of move they didn't have either truck. So I spent a lot of time and money on getting different trucks. Totally unacceptable. And all I got was “sorry”. So I paid more in unnecessary mileage on both trucks and paid labor $120/hr to sit around and wait until I showed up with a truck. Your scheduling is terrible! A reservation means reserved!

After I dropped off the equipment, I found that there neither cab nor Uber service in this area. Since I lived about 6-7 miles away, the store manager was kind enough to give me a ride to my house. That's customer service!

The attendant did not come out with me prior to the rental process to look/ inspect for and previous damage. He also did not print out a rental receipt/ agreement for me to have while traveling in case of any emergency or interaction with police. I asked for a copy and did not get one. I had to print my own from my house. The windshield washer tank was empty and when i needed it as it was raining and window full of bugs( prior) to renting there was none. He handed me the keys and said if i had any issues call 1800uhaul. That was how i was treated after a major disappointment will another uhaul facility (laxmi ganesh corp) in milledgeville ga. What an asshole. No truck and no phone call prior to departure date to verify if the truck was there. I drove over there myself as noone would answer either of the phone numbers. It was a 30 mile drive each way only to find out the this guy simply doesnt care about shit. He did not take the time to explain anything to me and told me to move out of his way as he had another customer to cash out at the register. Hell i thought that i was a customer(uhaul). He was rude to me and does nt represent uhaul in any way that shows concern. I would consider removing him as a uhaul representative. I could go on but this was a horrible ordeal for me from the start.

The lady was nice but the computer system was horrible. It took about 45 minutes to get the key to the truck. Very frustrating as I had movers waiting for me.

The owner is running a store that took precedence over the rental. I had paid in advance and it still took 30 minutes. No one helped me attach trailer and it came loos from my hitch a few miles later. No damage done to car or trailer, but irritating.

The 2 front floor corner tie-downs were missing. The Rails on the sides of these trailers are too small for rope larger than 1/4" in diameter, and appear to be thin wood. Doubt they are very strong.

The place was not that busy. The Men behind the counter seemed very confused and had difficulty finding my reservation when I walked in however I was able to receive my equipment and leave in a fairly timely manner. The location has plenty of room to hook up and make adjustments if you need to do it there. It's open later than most locations and has fuel available.

Please have equipment that is available and working. The 800 number reserved a tow dolly that was not working and no one offered to resolve the issue of me having to borrow a truck on 3 occasions to rent/use the tow dolly.

The place is described as Rana's Service Center, but there is not a sign exhibited that indicates it is the place. There is not any U-haul sign displayed anywhere to help me know I was in the right place. My GPS led me to actually go into the shop and inquire. The only U-Haul visible was a couple of trucks and a few trailers located more than 150 yards from the back entry. Didn't know i was in the right place until someone at the counter said, "yes, they could handle it."

The last five U-haul rentals I have made have been marred with difficulties. This is not a comment on Rana's, but a comment on my experience with UHaul as a company and their equipment. A couple of months ago I drove 3 hours to pick up a 10' in South Carolina, got stuck in traffic and called the location to tell them I might arrive a few minutes past their posted closing time. They said they'd wait 15 minutes. I pulled in two minutes past the hour, and the place was locked up and deserted. I had to return home and make the trek back again a week later. 5 weeks ago I arrived in the pouring rain to rent a 26' truck locally and after a 30 minute delay and taking the photos of the truck in the rain, I got in the cab to find the roof leaking on the driver's seat. I had to change trucks. The gas guage reading sent on my contract said 3/8 tank, so that's what I filled it to when I returned it. Got charge $60 for the location to fill it to the 5/8 mark they claimed was what the truck I actually took was supposed to have. 4 weeks ago, I picked up a truck at 6 AM for a 12 hour rental. Another long delay ensued and it was almost seven when I finally left with the vehicle. Clerk promised I wouldnt be charged an extra day if I was a few minutes after 6 PM returning. I rolled in at 6 sharp, but again was waved aside as the clerk sold lottery tickets and many other items to customers who came in after me. Finally got served and time in recorded as 6:30, was charged another day's rental. Two weeks ago, one way rental dropped off after hours. Followed checkin to the letter adn still mysteriously got charged for not doing something right. Today, returning my local rental from Rana's and was supposed to leave the truck with a half tank. I pumped 6 gallons and it was just barely touching the half-tank mark. So I pumped two more and checked, it didn't move. Pumped a couple more, same. Finally after adding seven more gallons one at a time and checking to see it still barely below the half tank hash mark, it jumped to 3/4 tank mark. Thanks for costing me extra AGAIN, UHaul.

779002_AFM@uhaul.com ? Thanks. I returned the trailer around 7:30 p.m. on February 29. I know on the online form I put in 5:30. I asked the manager at the store when I picked it up if I was a little late do we need to change the time and she responded that I had it for 24 hours. She told me that as long as I returned it before 9:30 on Sunday I was okay and I told her that I would have it back on Saturday evening. I was through with the trailer around 6, but didn't think it would be an issue. I feel like charging me for two days is unfair and wrong. The store manager was very nice and checked me out very quickly and seem to know what she was doing. The problem is in the billing for two 24 hour periods when I returned the trailer the same day. If billing was not out of line my recommendation would be okay.
