Truck interior was dirty, windows needed to be cleaned, and customer service of the gentleman helping us left much to be desired. Overall I would not recommend renting from this location again. We have had much more pleasant interactions at other U-Haul locations.Kara M.

I had to log into my UHaul app about 15 times before it accepted my email address and password. Possibly the cell phone signal strength is too low at that location.William V.
Counter service was terrible. Lines were out the door with only one customer service representative. I ended up going to a local hardware store that carries UHaul on the second day when I needed a trailer. It consumed 3 hrs of my time.RICHARD H.
interior of truck was filthy. app did not perform when on site, even though i reserved HOURS prior to rental. horrifically poor download/upload speed to complete the pick up data. on location, and then i was kicked off, and instructed to wait for a on line /app rep. 30 minutes later, no rep. pathetic!!! i will never recommend to anyone ever again!!! i should receive deep discount for the exorbitant waste of my time.paul C.

The approval process is very slow when using the app, every time. Also the app does not always allow a photo to be uploaded in order to show the reported fuel level or cleanliness are incorrect. THis forces you to accept the condition or lose the rental. This could allow customers to avoid cleaning the vehicle or filling the tank, if there is no accountability. It took me more than 45 minutes to do the rental. It was ac24/7 rental and the experience has me considering using 9ther truck rental companies. I'd rate the overall experience a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. If I have to do another "automated" rental again it would keep from using uhaul. I really don't appreciate when making things easier for the company comes at the price of horrible customer experience. It is obvious to me that uhaul is trying to save operating expenses by putting yhat operating expense on the customer. Uhaul, I have been using you for years, but no more.David C.
Worst rental experience EVER! I RESERVED a 10' box truck online. Showed up next day to pick up. I was informed my reservation was transferred to remote pick-up. I was told to create an online account for info. The Ace Hardware in Falmouth, Maine refused to help personally. Only said "call remote for help." What?? This is crap. I'm at another location, I don't have a cell phone signal, Ace associate refused to let me join the stores to access internet, bullshit! Finallt took a call to "remote" or whatever the hell that is. Represented helped me unlock door via lock and get started. 1 HOUR LATER... Returned truck, dropped keys off, im on my way. But wait, there's more. I drove 64 miles at .99 cents/ a mile. And was charged 19.95$ for the day. That's $83.31. NOT $143.65. WGAT THE "F"? BULLSHIT. I've been responding to my receipt online as required. But does anyone reply? Fuck no. Criminals...Noel R.

I ordered a dolly to go with the van, but it was not in the van at time of pickup (pickup was after hours for location). When I returned the van (via phone) I noted the missing item. I was still charged for 1 day's rental of the dolly even though I never had it to work with. I do not hold the site responsible because they did not have anything to do with my rental.Diane M.

As your records should show I use Uhaul on a regular basis. Being in the military we moved frequently using uhaul and never had any concerns. Since then I continue to use uhaul if ever needed. This is the first time I used this location ( Falmouth Maine ) and was not welcomed. The representative acted put out that I was in the store. He was insisting that all transactions were online and wouldnt listen when I attempted to talk. A family member and I used uhaul last week and I know that everything online wasnt true. I tried to explain, however he didny want to hear it and said I was all set and to just take it. Upon my return, being after hours, I called uhaul.com/share to assist with turn in. I knew it wasnt properly checked out as i had the option of cancelling my reservation. The gentleman on the phone sent an email to me as I had to take pictures and send them in. He also confirmed that it had not been "dispatched". I wanted to do the right thing. I will continue to use uhaul, however I will NEVER use Falmouth Maine location again.Jeffrey L.
Uhaul rep in store was upset we came into store instead of checking in online! The van was dirty inside. It had not been cleaned or disinfected between people using it! Not safe during COVID 19! We had to do it ourselves!Gary T.
The van had clearly not been cleaned before we rented it. TheRe were food crumbs inside and worse, a dirty used Band-Aid on the floor. I wouldn't expect them to clean it perfectly every time but in the middle of a pandemic, it seems like someone should've just given it a once over and removed obvious possible sources of contamination. A more knowledgeable staff, a uhaul training would seem to go a long way there. I had called the day before to pay for everything, make sure there would be a truck available, spoke to â€œthe uhaul guyâ€ as her referred to himself, and got everything squared away. I was told the equipment would be ready to be picked up at 9am. The day of, I went online, completed the information with my ID, made payment, etc. then when I arrived at the location they stated they didn't know what truck to give me, they couldn't log onto the computer, told me I'd have to wait till the owner called them back.. it wasn't till I suggested for them to call the uhaul hotline and speak to someone there. Finally after getting through they proceeded to talk on the phone and ask about their computer systems while I waited in the store for over 45 minutes. Overall experience was horrendous.JACOB D.
Slow service, did everything online for quick checkout and still took 1/2 an hour to complete the transaction Trailer had six inches of ice on top that came sliding off one I started moving. Have rented many times from you before and this was my worst experience with your company by farAndrew I.
There was confusion regarding my reservation. I wasn't checked in properly and the truck was showing as dispatched after I had returned it. I had to call UHaul as well as the hardware store to resolve. It was resolved at that point.Douglas L.
