I was called by U-Haul at 6pm the night before my scheduled pickup at 8am that I would not be able to pick up my U-Haul because the location did not set up their 24/7 lockbox appropriately in time and that the store did not open until 9am so I my reservation time would have to be changed, regardless of the fact I had hired movers that started at 8am the next day. Upon picking up my U-Haul at 9am, because I had no choice but to move the reservation, I was told by the store clerk that their lock boxes were working fine and that I should have been able to pickup at midnight if I wanted to, and the store actually opened at 8am so I should never have been an issue in the first place. I ended up having to pay my lovers an hour of work that couldn't be done because I didn't have the truck all for no reason at all. I won't ever be using U-Haul or recommending them again.
Stephanie GKey was not placed in 24/7 pickup location. When I called customer support, they wanted to redirect me to a different location. Once the worker showed up to open the store much later (thank god I didn't book earlier), he said I couldn't use the contract I set up on the app and had to open a new contract with them, and that the minimum required distance was 75 miles. Very sketchy, would not recommend.
