The only thing I didn't like was monarch calling to see when was I going to returned the van because another customer was waiting on it when I had picked it up at 11am, and I had it to 3pm

No one was waiting on customers for quite a while and then the gentleman just took my key and said he would email. He was courteous and did send a confirming email about an hour after dropoff.

Keys were not available for mobile check in. I told 3 employees that were leaving for the day that I was having issues with the pick up they each told me to call the 800#. Called the 800# only to be told the keys were not available therefore my reservation had to pushed to the next morning. The next morning, I still had to go to the same employees to get the keys. After we started loading we realized we did not receive the furniture covers that were part of the order.

Make sure you give the correct amount of moving blankets. We had to pay for $6 each for 2 that we didn't get.

I got the run around. I originally scheduled to pick up at (am at another location well the reservation was moved to another location when I got there it said it was closed didn't open till 12 noon called Uhaul direct number and they said well we will move you to another location. U-haul rep said since the reservation got moved twice they would give me a $50 credit since I had to run around so much. When I got to new location everything was ok but they didn't have the hand truck I had wanted they said no problem we have one of the bigger ones but I would have to pay the extra that it costed even though it wasn't my fault I had been moved to a location that didn't have the items I ordered. I said fine just give me what I need to get started with my move and make sure my $50 credit was on there. The guy told me me it was showing but it wouldn't come off the total until the end of the rental after my milage and stuff was figured. I said ok. WELL GUESS WHAT MY RENTAL IS COMPLETE AND MY CARD WAS CHARGED FOR THE WHOLE AMOUNT AND WAS NOT GIVEN THE $50 CREDIT i WAS TOLD BY THE U-HAUL REP i WOULD GET!!!!! i GUESS NO SURPRISE u-HAUL IS THE ONLY OPTION OUT THERE SO WHY GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WHY GIVE THE CUSTOMER WHAT THEY WERE PROMISED!!!!

The truck was fine and service was decent. The fellow who helped me on the phone was much nicer / more knowledgeable than the rude people who answered the phone when I called other locations. However, I was very put off by the fact that nobody in the office ever put on a mask. The hanging plexiglass was simply not enough for my comfort in this high Covid season. I would have gone elsewhere had it not been convenient to my house and my storage facility. Also, when I tried calling U-Haul to secure some help with moving (on recommendation of an in-store rep) there was no way to connect with anybody and the rep didn't have any info to help me. I thought that was very odd. I found movers elsewhere.
