the computers weren't working right, the very nice man at the counter had trouble getting anything to check out. Then on return I had to login from my phone to use the drop system, the app didn't work. We also purchased a hand truck which was not available when we picked up the truck.

When I came in to pick up my reserved truck, There were 2 customers waiting in front of me, but no one working at the counter. 5 minutes later the associate that was in the parking lot returned to help customers inside. It took me 45 minutes to pick up a truck, with my busy schedule, this definitely did not help matters.

The first problem was that all of my phone calls went to the call center, not to the location of the trailer I rented. I was on hold for about a half hour for each of several calls. Second, I asked about ties for my motor cycle and was told uhaul would supply them so I didn't get them myself. There were ties for sale at the location but the person there didn't know anything about them so I had no idea what to get or how to use them. I asked the person at the call center if there would be help from uhaul in loading and tieing down the bike.I was told there would be. At the location I was told that is something they don't do.My wife and I were watching Utube videos on our phones trying to figure it out when another customer was nice enough to help us out. The whole experience took way longer than it would have if we had the correct information coming in. We would have had the correct ties and known how to use them. It was also more stressful than it had to be.You need to have the people at the location answering these questions or make sure the people at the call center know how each location operates, the two are not on the same page. This delayed our departure and messed up our travel plans.

The agent needs to make sure that honor the customer's request location. I was sent to a locations at a greater distance in an unsafe area without an available representative to check the vehicle. I am sure it was an unintended error on the agent's side , punching in the wrong zip code and directing me to a far away location.

I was in a huge crunch and need a uhal to be able to move into my new apartment and had to do it all that day and the gentleman who helped me was so kind and curtious very understanding and super helpful. He’s a fantastic employee.

The employees are great - very helpful BUT there aren't enough of them to handle the number of customers. I had to wait in line for an hour to pick up my truck first thing in the morning. On another day I came in to get boxes, and it was the same situation, so I left. Hire more people please.

The parking lot was jammed full of trucks and trailers. One entrance was full, one was blocked by construction( nobody's fault), and one you could barely squeeze through. Once I got in the staff was very helpful

Without any staff the manager was alone to turn inventory around in a morning's time. The van I rented was gassed and had 1500 miles on it. The tires and side panels were caked in mud. The only time I have rented here, and I will again because they are great, that my rental was not clean on the outside.

I was way overcharged for fuel consumption: - I couldn't refuel it before dropping it back because I ran out of time after my pickup time was pushed for over 24 hours. - I drove the truck for 15.4miles and was charged for 5 gallons (assuming I drove it at 3mpg rate!!). Not sure how this calculation was done but it is very unfair and wrong. I am an Energy Engineer my core job is to make sure people use less Energy and conserve it. In my normal drives I try my best to keep the RPM on the green side in the UHaul and even my personal car, so maybe 15mpg might be a better and fair rate to use for the calculation. - I emailed the location at 799063_GM@uhaul.com but was ignored and never received a response!

Overall the customer service was fine. When I created the initial appointment I requested for a dolley and they said it would be included with the vehicle. When I showed up to pick up the vehicle I mentioned it to the person checking me in and he said it was good to go after he checked on the online portal if it was there. When I took the vehicle and checked the back it was not in there, bummer, this could of been a handy tool to use. I didn't call back to ask them about it because I didn't want to waste my allotted time. When I came back to return the vehicle I mentioned it to the personnel that was there at the time and he took note of it and said will not be included in the bill. That was the only discrepancy I had with the overall service, just really wanted the dolley to be there to use for the move. When I was there the person there mentioned that they did have a busy shift at the time.

I had too contact the store 3 times. all 3 occasions took an extremely above average extra long times too get someone too talk too. on no occasion was I able too talk too the store, I was redirected too call center operators. first time it took 28min too get through, sec time 21min, third time 24 min. when I was finally connected I was told misinformation. wrong pricing & details. over 1 hour on hold is way too long then not get proper info or detail is unacceptable. I have ZERO plans too ever use uhaul again.
