Provide a better training to the employees at the front desk, I had a very disappointed experience with the person in charge. His attitude was deplorable and unacceptable, customers deserve a better service regardless the hours he has worked on that day. I love U Haul and the service I had at different locations over the years, but for sure I never going back to the mentioned location.

friendly and excellent attention
They were not that busy, but refused to help us get the trailer parked and unhooked. The owner or manager whatever he was, had a problem and let it bleed over into customer service which there was none.
The guy was upset that he didn't know we were coming. I showed him our reservation drop off location provided in the app. He grumbled when he found out he was wrong. He proceeded to be short answered and made me move the vehicle and trailer saying it was â€œin the wayâ€ even though I had parked it with the other trucks. What I relived is that he doesn't like backing up the trucks with a trailer. Some clear signage about where he wants returned vehicles would help.
I was told by the person at the desk to park the truck and he would check it in when he could and I would receive an email later that day or the next. I told him that was unacceptable as I was liable until I had turned the property back to uhaul and I wanted documentation that the vehicle was returned. He told me if I didn't like that option to return the truck online. Which I did and placed the key in the drop box. He was rude and unhelpful! Never again Uhaul.
Don't move the pickup location further away the day before pickup, and don't schedule the pick up time when the location is not open.
The van was great. I really like the van because it is a good size for moving and I can drive it easily & feel safe & comfortable in traffic! The man, Mark, who runs this location & felt the need to tell me repeatedly he did NOT work for U-Haul, had a rude tone & treated means like a problem child - he repeated all the â€œissuesâ€ if I did â€œthis & thatâ€.Mark made a big deal about the cleaning charge ! â€œif it even meant he had to get up in the van & sweep it outâ€ (Well he had NOT swept out the back since the previous rental which would tell me he does not think much of having a relationship with UHaul) Mark told me the insurance was mandatory. I questioned if that was a new policy ? I had the insurance offered with my 5 previous rentals but not told it was mandatory. Mark said they aren't doing running their business correctly ! If there had been a different UHaul co opened & had a van, I would have left & gone there ! He also told me that he closed at 5 & I would have to handle the return on my own & he hoped I left it clean... Appreciative I was able to get the van...terrible customer service at this location on 1960, Humble Storage, UHaul customer service was helpful !
Me Mark was very kind
I was really releasable with the manager that helped me. I was sitting there for 45 minutes because he didn't want to go out in the rain to hook the trailer up. If you are afraid to go out in the rain just let me hook on the trailer & bring it up under the cover so you won't get wet. If I wasn't under a tight frame I would have gone somewhere else.
Faster customer service
Mark Hodges was very rude. While picking up he was very short and condescending. When I was dropping off there was a family there picking up there as well. I witnessed as he talked to them very disrespectfully. The guy asked a simple question, is the insurance on it? marks response was whatever is on the paper, we should have already discussed that. Mark also took a phone call and the lady was saying she was at work and she just needed to get a pen to write the number down and he cut her off saying he had to hang up and she could call tomorrow because he was busy. He took the keys for my truck and then when I said he took them already he argued with me that he doesn't take keys before checking in after which he walked back to his desk and found the keys on his side of the desk. But he did not apologize. He made comments that they close at 5 however we were all there before 5, so good customer service would be to take care of the people who are paying your business money for service. I will NEVER use this location again and I'm pretty sure the lady on the phone and the other family there will not as well. I talked to them for a little bit and we discussed Mark and how he treated us poorly for whatever unknown reason. Mark is apparently the property manager of the storage facility so UHaul may want to reconsider him as a partner because if this is how he treated 3 different paying customers in that short span, I can only imagine how many other customers have experienced this as well.

Poor service, decrepit and old equipment, blamed my equipment (UHaul installed hitch and lighting connection) for the failure of the lights not working when it was the UHaul equipment that was faulty. Two other trailers on the lot, neither in rental condition. Sorry excuse for a UHaul location.
I would never go to this location again. I rated it on Google maps as horrible customer service and the van needed servicing. Also the information on uhaul website is rather ambiguous and somewhat vague. I'll rather rent with Penske because I've never had a problem with them and you have all of the information needed.
Mark was rude and argumentative, not helpful at all. I observed him being rude and abrasive to two other customers while I was there. The tried telling the uhaul representative that "I bet this guy didnt tell you the truck has a bad battery". I then showed him the text from roadside assistance about the battery, and that shut him up for a minute. He was also rude to my wife when she came in to see what was taking so long. I will never recommend this person and will avidly tell people to steer clear of his place.
Originally scheduled for a u haul in Baytown. Showed up to find out my u haul was not there. Did not receive a phone call or anything.
Make sure trucks are cleaned and not have masked left in there from others. Stop overcharging 1.19 per mile is outrageous.
Price point was a little over what I expected, I asked for information on pricing, but was told they will send it to me. I guess it would just be better to know in advance exactly how much will be charged upfront..then the rest I know they have to see after you return the truck ..the guy said $100 but actually they held $32 first then charged me the rest a day after returning truck which is today. I like to see the bill when I return the truck. We returned it on full tank of gas..but I thought it was a bit high. But I still will reccomend this company.
