The front of the truck was so dirty had dog hair all in it and mud and something was spilled between the seats . I plainly told the guy I'm not getting charged for this he said you won't . It stunk also . Horrible shapepam C.
The truck was messy with cigarette butts and ashes all in the ashtray. The driver side door panel near that covers the seatbelt came off as I was driving down the interstate, hitting me in the head and side of face.Kristi W.

Very dissatisfied with my recent U-Haul rental experience. My original contract was at Hal Greer location. When I was finally waited on I was informed that the 10' Uhaul I had reserved was unavailable and I would need to go to a different location, which was in the opposite direction of where I needed to go. I was informed that I would receive a reduction in mileage from .99 to .69. This does not compensate me for the added mileage and gas it created on my overall U-Haul trip, the added mileage and gas on my personal vehicle, and the loss of time I encountered at the beginning of my day, specifically, and also at the end.Stephanie J.
This was my worst experience ever with U Haul. The gentleman had no clue on my reservation and had to call it in. I asked him to walk around the truck with me to note any damages etc ... he yelled at me... â€œ don't worry about it you have insuranceâ€. The floor of the cab in the drivers side was covered in mud. I have always had great experiences with U Haul and I believe this to be the exception. I would never get another vehicle from this facility again. I was suppose to pick up truck in Ashland KY and had to go out of my way to get this truck. Major disappointment this time.Delores L.
Firstly, my truck was bumped from a Uhaul location just a few blocks from my house to a location fifteen minutes away in another town. Upon calling before I arrived, the owner badly explained that he had saved my truck from being rented out to others, leading me to believe my truck was gone - as if I had no reservation. Once at the location, I learned he had no credit card machine on site. He had to call the "headquarters in Charleston" to process my payment which took FOURTY FIVE MINUTES of being on hold, getting disconnected, and having him poorly explain to me why I was waiting / why the process was taking longer than any Uhaul experience I have ever had. Then I find out that despite reserving 4 dozen blankets, he had ZERO. I had to stop my morning, drive the truck to another uhaul location fifteen minutes away, and wait there for blankets. Because of these delays, we missed a transport appointment with an animal rescue agency to rehome our cat and it completely screwed up our already stressful day. I cannot explain the level of frustration I had on moving day because of this and I highly doubt I will use U-Haul for future relocation services.Jennifer R.

First of all , I was under the impression that I reserved the trailer at another site in Huntington Wv. When I called on Sunday to confirm the trailer for Monday , it was the wrong number texted to me , from uhaul .I drove 2 hrs and wasn't sure if I had a trailer or where to even pick it up. Upon picking up the trailer there computer system was down . Had to do everything over the phone to get back into the system. Told them I had a conformation number , I guess I didn't need that either . When I dropped it off in Marietta, they did a great job .Randy I.

I informed the agent that I would be stopping along the way and staying at a friend's house for a couple days and wouldn't be reaching Glenwood Springs until the 17th of October. I wanted him to make a note and inform the Glenwood Springs location that I would be there on the 17th instead of the 14th but he wouldn't. The person in the office at the pick up location was very mean, incompetent and did not have a clue as to what as going on. He tried to re-run my credit card several times and could not comprehend that I had paid ahead and had a zero balance. I will NEVER deal with this location again.BRANDON E.
Reserved trailer at a location that was open seven days a week. This location did not have trailer available and called morning of rental to change locations. Location rented from only open Monday through Saturday 8-5. Had to return trailed after location closed.JOHN W.
The U-Haul location on Bridge Street in Huntington, WV was filthy and unorganized. The U-Haul rep I dealt with was rude, short and took almost a half an hour to give me the paperwork and keys. He also added insurance when I did not request it. When I asked him about it, he said "I didn't tell him I didn't want insurance", but he never asked me if I wanted it. At every single U-Haul I've ever used previously, I've been asked if I want the insurance, it was never automatically added. I won't be using U-Haul again.omar A.

Wilfred is the BEST! I would definitely recommend this location over the 9th Ave office! At Riders, I felt at home whereas every time I've been in the 9th Ave office (within the last 3 years that is), I've felt as if I was a burden to them. Those boys don't have the drive like they used to...! I miss the old crew at 9th Avenue!BILL R.
