I have used Uhual numerous times in the past and always received great customer service. This time, however, was not the best experience. The guy at this location offered to stay later so that I could pick up the truck I needed at a convenient time for me, which was amazing and greatly appreciated. However, in person he was very rude, had a smart mouth, and an inappropriate comment that really rubbed me the wrong way. I will never use this location again! I believe that I was over charged which I will check in to because I took pictures before and after rental. I will only be using Uhual retail locations from this point on. Very disgusted customer

The location was easy to find and OK overall. The only poor experience I had was with mobile check out. The process was unnecessarily slow and much less convenient than working with someone directly. I was excited because I thought it would be faster, but so not. Check in took over 20 minutes, and verification response and receiving key code was slow. Not cool on a hot day and i wouldn't recommend the current mobile check out to anyone.

This was by far one of the worst experiences I have had with a company...ever. i do not give bad reviews easily. Lots of people have bad days and I try to assume positive intentions. But... I reserved a truck at the Metcalf and 78th location on a Monday...5 days prior to my pickup date. On Saturday, I arrived to pick up the truck and the employee there said, they didnt have any truck for me and didnt have my reservation. He looked further And said my reservation is in KC off Prospect. This was 15 miles away in a very run down, unsafe area, and this was transferred without ANY communication to me. How in the world can a company change your reservation to a different location 15 miles away without checking with you or notifying you?!? Not a hotel company, not a rental car place. But Uhaul must think this is a good way to run a business. The man at the counter at Metcalf didnt offer an apology, didnt offer to call to confirm my reservation was at the location he said, and basically had a horrible attitude. I called the Prospect location and they said they had no truck under my name with a reservation. "They are all gone". On a moving day, this is a nightmare. I went back inside and the manager just gave me a number to call. Again, didnt offer an apology or any service to make this right. It baffles me how a company can treat customers this way. Its definitely not one I will do business with again. I will pay more for a truck elsewhere that will actually have the truck at the location I booked it under without making me drive 30 miles round trip out of my way, charging me for the extra miles and not offering any apology or means to make it right.

one of the anchor chains to keep the car on the trailer was unserviceable. The landing gear was still down on the trailer when the dealer told me the van and trailer were ready to roll. The dealer did not assist with putting the car on the trailer as described on the website. Did not provide explanation of gas. Did not provide correct printout of bill, etc.

The trailer was parked near a large metal spike. Instead of helping me navigate from the lot, I was given advice to "turn left" when there was no room to do so. Then heckled by the worker as I tried to navigate the exit in the absolutely most ghetto and unprofessional Uhaul I've ever been to. I will never go back to this location. I would recommend removing your branding from this location.

Inner fender that you pull down to get in was packed full of cow crap, driverside strap was covered in cow crap. Passenger side tires had low air pressure in them. When they hooked the trailer up they shoved two chains through one hole on my hitch, so when I dropped it off after hours, 300 pm, I had to run all the way back home to get tools to take the chain apart to get it disconnected from my truck. While disconnecting it I had a group of about 5 local individuals just staring at me while I did this. Mind you this is not in a great part of town at all. One that I will not go back to ever again. As far as the trailer, it was great, it functioned awesome but I'm not 100% sure that I will use uhaul if they cant get me to a different location for pick up and drop off. I will say that the people that were working at this location were very nice and professional.

Had a very bad experience with Steve, I was over charged for my rental when I rented the truck for 24hrs and was charged for 2 days. After explaining myself over and over again he became extremely rude to both myself and the Uhaul Agent who tried to get him to be reasonable in fact he cursed her out. Finally had to dispute the charges on my AMX and vowed to never ever patronize this racist facility again in life. In fact I want "ALL" my money Back! The experience was unbelievable.

The location was incredibly dirty and disorganized and did not have any accessories. I explicitly denied all insurance when I reserved the unit online and was not asked about it when I checked out. I see in my contract that I am now charged for it. The equipment was ok, but the rubber trim on the inside was falling out and the person helping me saw it and did not even bother to push it back in.
