While the location and the personnel were very good. Your customer service is terrible. While on my trip I lost a tire and i called your customer service line only to be on hold for two hours and nobody ever answered the phone. I still need for someone to call me to tell me if they will refund the tire i had to replace.

The counter person informed us that we could drop the truck off at any Uhaul location in Aberdeen. She did not know of an actual address. When we tried to drop off the truck at the closest location they would not take it. After spending time on the phone with your service people we were told that our drop off place was in Baltimore (we were in Aberdeen and rented one way). She finally found a place in the area where we could drop it off. We drove there and left it after hours. We ended up being charged for going over the mileage (just a little) but that was frustrating because we were misinformed to begin with.
I was surprised to find NO Jack on a 12 foot trailer. i could not lift the tongue off the trailer hitch ball. I had to purchase a jack from Lowe's to remove the trailer from my car.
We were charged $30 to drop it off and just told to dispute it on our card. ??????????????
The windshield wipers would not stay on the kept popping off how is a uhaul at a repair shop and not maintained

While Charm City cars was good to deal with, your service, app, and staff were horrendous. When my wife used the app, she set the pickup time and date for a half an hour after I got off of work on Friday, July 26th at 6:30 PM. Unbeknownst to her, when she clicked complete, the pickup time changed to 12 PM that day, so when we went to pick up the truck, we were informed that we would get no truck because we missed our pickup time. And yes she received the confirmation email, but why would she recheck it immediately when she just made the reservation. The young lady behind the counter stated, "we ain't got no more trucks, sorry." She half-assedly called two other stores and got voicemail to which she stated, "they ain't answering, call the 800 number." So I leave the store and call 1800gouhaul and proceeded to hold for 30 minutes when I got another you lady on the phone. I stated that we needed a truck and would go just about anywhere to get one since it seemed that the entire world was moving this weekend she said that I could pickup a truck at 8 am the next morning only a few miles down the road. I was ecstatic, because I thought we would be S.O.L. We show up at the appointed time and place to find out we had no reservation and no truck!?! When I looked back at the text she had sent me on Friday at 7:00PM, I see that somehow she booked the reservation for 8:00 Friday, the 26th, not the next morning, Sat. JULY 27TH AT 8:00AM. Once again we had no truck. Your company is really impressing me at this point, besides the fact that we are panicking that it is the day of our move and we have no truck. I called the 1800gouhaul number again and luckily managed to get a truck at 10 AM. The woman gave me a whole $10 discount. Now, as someone who was a chef and restaurant manager for most of my life, I dont look for something for nothing, but you guys really sucked. When I returned the truck to the location I rented it from (I was told that I would incur a very large fee if I wanted to return it to a different location that would be easier and more convenient. ) there was no one there. Not wanting to get charged for additional time, I went to the uhaul.com/share site to attempt to check in. The website told me to call 1800gouhaul, so I did. The woman who answered the phone informed me that I should go to the website to check the truck back in. Really!?! So $200 dollars later you definitely are not getting a good rating from me and I would probably not use you again.
Excellent customer service.
The truck hesitated over and over to start. I sat in the truck several times in the heat for 20 minutes or more waiting for it to turn over. Even when I returned the truck it hesitated to start and this was witnessed by a Uhaul employee. It was a frustrating ordeal.
They were supposed to open up at 8:00 AM no one showed up till 8:15 AM. A month before my pic update I had reserved a 5 x 8 trailer at a U-Haul location close to my home. However the night before pick up I was transferred 15 miles away to a store that had an 8 o'clock pick up rather than the 7 o'clock pick up that I needed. I was not happy

Facility was crowded with excess vehicles making it extremely difficult to legally park an auto trailer without obstructing the parking lot. I found a location that was moderately suitable but could not move the truck after parking the trailer. A passerby had to assist me with moving the trailer as it was impossible to move myself. Do not allow auto trailer dropoffs at this location until there is a clear area created for dropoffs.
This location made me aware of my overcharges and tried to help me with them. They were kind and and empathetic over my awful experience. Grace who I called at the Uhaul customer service about the over charges was not at all. I would 100% go back these guys for car service but never will UHAUL ever again at any location

All I have the patience to say now is that I will be filing a formal complaint with UHaul. Worst experience ever with a truck rental company. Will not be using them again and I advise all others to do the same!
I was told there were no trucks after i made a reservation. He then pulled a truck off of the curb n took a for sale sign out of a unmarked truck. He didnt do a walk around or check the miles. The transmission was shot and the loading door got stuck three times. After i returned the truck he tried to charge my card over $400!! For miles I did not use. I will never rent from here again.
You have the worst customer service at your stores and calling on the phone. Your guarantee policies are false rip offs that you have to fight for but you never have an issue billing people. I made my reservation online, the time and location were changed the next day which was day of pick up. I called your sorry customer service line and couldn't get anyone on the phone for 10 minutes on hold. I finally got someone and she apologized and changed the time back to my request. I arrived at location and no one was even there, they were supposed to be open at 8:00am where as my reservation was at 9:00am. I called customer service again and waited on hold AGAIN! They had to track down the owner and I finally got the unsatisfactory service that Uhaul provides. I was guaranteed the $50.00 dollar credit to my account, upon turning in the truck nobody new what I was talking about. Called customer service AGAIN from inside your store as instructed by your employees who felt that was my responsibility. Again on hold waiting for your rep to tell me she doesn't see my credit in the acount. Now I am waiting for a manager to call me in 48 hours to so called straighten out your horrible service which you have already taken my money for. How can you improve? STOP BEING GREEDY CROOKS!!! Treat your customers with respect and good service!! Keep your word and honor your policies instead of lying and trying not to and falsely advertising that you take care of your customers!! Funny how you have no issues taking my monew, no computer issues there. When it's time for you to pay, there's a problem? I know you don't care that I will never use you again, I'm just one customer and money greedy crooks don't care about one customer. The way you improve is by caring and honoring that one customer. I reserved a rental for 8am,no one was in the office until a mechanic helped out by talking to George over the phone.Never again at this location. George,the boss, was taking someone to Immigration court and he made no plans to have someone else there to serve the customer.
