Charged for a dolly that was unavailable and have yet to be refunded. Truck was not clean upon pick up and then they tried to charge me a $25 cleaning fee- it was cleaner when I dropped it off than when I picked it up. There was just barely 1/4 of a tank of gas in the truck. I had scheduled pick up for 9 am and arrived at 9:15. When I finally opened the lockbox for the key, it was empty. Had to wait until after 10am for a live person to show up and he was kind of unkind. The area is pretty sketchy and he told me the could tow my car ( I had an 8 hour rental). Thankfully it didn't get towed.

Anita ENot knowledgeable about renting equipment, pick up location changed to this address when I actually rented it at I35 location. Had to take vehicle to I 35 location to check tire monitor light after picking up at Cruz's cooler. Worst service I have ever experienced. You should be able to pick up at location you rent from. I actually believe I was overcharged for the RENTAL. Alex Mills
ALEXANDER MThe overall experience with U-Haul was good, however, I would recommend getting your rental from an actual U-Haul location instead of a third party location if at all possible. I ordered an appliance dolly with my rental and it was not in the truck when I picked it up. I had to go to a third party and rent the dolly for twice the cost as well as drive several extra miles to get to the third party location. All in all U-Haul did reimburse me for the additional mileage and the cost of the dolly, which I did appreciate. Good customer service! Just make sure you call ahead if you rental any additional equipment and make sure it is in the truck.
