The trucks need to be maintained at the central location so it is risky to pick up a truck from an off shoot.
I am upset that it was not made clear to me that my storage and truck and car transport were not the same location. I had to drive twice! to completely different ends of town to drop the car transport, go back north to unload the truck to storage, then drive back south to drop the truck. Thankfully! Someone was there to help me, because also!!! the drop off location was closed. This was very very poorly set up for me. I, of course, have extra charges now, because I probably went over my mileage because of this. I feel I should not have to pay these last charges of $21.84, because these extra miles were due to your poor communication! What if that nice man had not been there at your 3rd Ave location??? I would not have been able to drop off the transport!!! I hope you actually read this and remove these last charges!
The location is what it is. Not the greatest but the guy running it makes it worth it. Just take your time.

We made arrangements to move from Englewood, Colorado to Jacksonville, Florida a month in advance of our move. We selected a UHaul location to pick up a truck and a car tow that was 15 minutes away. One day before our move we were told we had to drive 59 miles each way to pick up our truck and then drive to another location to pick up a car two. We were only offered $50 credit and one extra day for our inconvenience. That is a slap in the face for the 3 hours inconvenience, the mileage on my personal car, the gas for my car, the delay to our movers, and the stress of the last minute change! We were told we could drop off our truck and car tow at any Uhaul location when we arrived in Florida. We drove around looking for a Uhaul and finally found one but the woman there she absolutely would not accept our truck or car tow so we drove another 20 minutes away to another UHaul who said no. I remembered that I received a text message with a "convenient" drop off location. I looked it up on the map and it said they were closed - it was a Friday! I called them to see if I could reach someone and the woman answered saying she switched her days off so that's why the map said she was closed. Anyways it was a dump of a building but they took the tow and then we dropped off the car tow the next day. We had paid for 5 dozen pads but 3 were never opened but we weren't offered a credit for them. I filed multiple complaints with UHAUL but never had anyone other than the initial response fo $50 credit. I called again today to complain again. I was on the phone for 44 minutes. I was told they would send my request for an additional refund to "upper management". We shall see if I get a refund - I deserve it. Total disaster of a rental.
Exemplary customer service was rendered by staff every step of the way. I had to call to change my reservation, they made it happen. A storm delayed us, they took care of it. I cannot highly recommend or praise the staff at the rental pick-up.
The windshield wipers were dangerously inadequste. My moving day ended up being a blizzsrd so I was crouched down to see between steering wheel just to see

Bringing the trailer back early seemed like a huge burden. The staff member was rude throughout the entire process.
My original pickup location was changed and I was never notified of the change so I went to the original location where they notified me of the change. THIS WAS VERY INCONVENIENT. The location. that I had to go to was very good though.
This uhaul office helped my mom and I so much. With my storage unitWe appreciate the last minute change so much. We have nothing but great service with uhaul. Keep up the great work.

We reserved a truck in Louisville Colorado for Saturday June 15th. When we arrived the location did not have any trucks for another 7 hours. The woman at that location was super helpful and called several locations to find us a truck as we had driven 2 hours to get the truck. She called her area manager who found us a truck via mobile pickup in Longmont Colorado. When arriving to this location the mobile pickup would not engage. I spoke to a person inside this location who had no idea on how to rent the truck to me. I contacted the area manager who said it wasn't set up for mobile pickup and did a few things on his end. He stated I was good to go and then the person at the location provided me the keys and said I was all set. We finally had a truck nearly 3 hours later and 30 miles farther away that we anticipated. When we dropped the truck on Monday June 24th the location could not find that the truck was ever checked out. I waited in that location for an hour as they tried to sort out what was needed to be done. He told me he would call me later if I needed to come back in. The next day Tuesday June 18th and the truck still wasn't showing as returned even though it was in the drop off location. I went back to that location and he was able to close off the rental, printed out a receipt showing that I did not own anything and said it was zero'd out from the dispatch and I shouldn't be charged. 6/19 I have a 317 dollar charge on my account for the uhaul rental. I was able to call uhaul 6/20 to find out why I was charged as I was told I would not be charged anything. Also during the conversation I explained that my truck rental was 222 so I wasn't sure how the bill would have been 317. I was told that they extra uhaul protection was added which I did not request as all I agreed to was the 222 for the truck. The uhaul customer service requested that all fees be credited back due to all of the issues I have went through and the area manager only agreed to credit $56 dollars off of the 317 for the extra fee that was added without my request. This experience was one of the worst I have ever experienced in all of my life dealing with several companies. We spent an extra 5 hours between renting the truck and dropping off the truck plus 30 minutes on the phone with customer care to only receive a $56 credit for a charge I never asked for. Uhaul needs to step up and offer a full refund as the truck was returned on time and completely full with fuel just as required. I owned to my end of the agreement, but Uhaul failed miserably on their end.
We found the trailer had a flat tire after we got it loaded and prepared to head out. We contacted roadside assistance to get it fixed. I believe his name is Ray, from Storage West, contacted us to make sure we were getting the help we needed. We really felt taken care of. Also wanted to say that the roadside assistance, Al, was amazing as well. He got to us as quickly as possible changed the tire and checked over the entire trailer before letting us head out.
The process to get u-haul using the mobile app (after hours) did not go smoothly. However the owner recognized this and came out to help.
