Picked the truck up Saturday, 3/23/19 at 9:00am at the Boltons Self Storage on west 82nd street in Lubbock, TX. Lady was very nice. Gave me a key fob to the gate so that I could return the truck the next morning. I left my personal truck locked on the property. Returned the truck that night, 3/23/19 and key fob would not open the gate. Finally got a hold of Trey Bolton, area manager for Lubbock, who told me there was nothing he could do for me. He had made some calls but no one was answering. I completely understand weird things happen, but to get the answer of "nothing I can do" isn't acceptable to me. I find it hard to believe there was no one, including Trey Bolton, that could have come up, disengaged the gate, and let me in to get my personal vehicle. Lady that runs the Bolton Self Storage was very apologetic on Monday and made it right pricing wise. Not really impressed with the way it was handled Saturday night.

After we had left the rental location, I noticed that the right turn signal light was out. We did not have time to return the trailer to have the light fixed. We did notify the attendant at the return location.

I went in to pick up a rental I had reserved online. The lady treated me like I was ignorant. I have rented multiple UHauls and know how it works. I specifically put a time for return and planned on returning before that time. She then made remarks stating you only have it for the evening, you can't keep it later. I had requested for 4 hours and returned it in 2. Also, I was quoted at having a certain amount of gas, but was actually 1/4 tank less than what was stated. If the would walk out with you and verify that could have been avoided. I won't use this place again.

I don't know that I would. My sister and I both rented the same sized trailer on the same day in the same city. Her rate was $60 cheaper AND she got it for 2 days. Also, when I rented I believed there was a drop in Seminole. I was not told that the site had been shut down until I called about the return site sent to me. We were scheduled to take it back to Andrews, TX, but called and had it changed to Denver City, TX. It would have been nice if we had been told that when we rented.

Service rep helpful. The fob given to us to open the gate to return the trailer did not work. The site was closed. We live 30 miles away so we were about to head home with the trailer. We called several times but the office was closed and we did not get a return call. Luckily, we drove back to the site one more time and a car was leaving and we were able to get in the gate to return the trailer. Otherwise, we would have had to pull the trailer home and then make another trip to return it.

My son went to self drop off and the place was closed with the gate being locked. It just so happened that a customer of the storage facility came at the time my son was about to leave and had a card to swipe to open the gate.
