I tried to communicate to the drop off location in Falls Creek Va that the truck needed maintenance. Front end was loose and truck wandered. Makes a very tense drive when having to counter steer constantly. My guess....tie rod ends. ? I drive truck for a living and it is a very common easily repaired problem. Can also be dangerous. No one At the drop off end seemed to care and the truck was scheduled to go out again right away. Week spot in the company's safety program. Probably go back to Penske next rental. The truck had a drive train "clunk" forward to reverse and reverse to forward as if a universal joint was gong bad. Also noisy drivetrain/ trans when decelerating which also could be a u-joint. Was afraid of breaking down short of my destination.David C.

The Truck 24/7 app did not work well. U-haul needs to make it very clear that customers must arrive at the pick up time, not after. Pick up ended up taking almost an hour after being on hold 45 minutes, after midnight, in the rain.Michael C.

Had a scheduled appointment there and nobody was even there property was a junk pile had to wait for somebody to show up and somebody finally showed up and said he hasn't showed up yet and we said no the place was still locked up totally unhappy with service what a dumpheapkarl L.
The location went out of his way to help me get the trailer I wanted but when the trailer was delivered to him it was not the trailer I had wanted. The size was right 6' x 12' but it did not have a ramp. The owner of the location was told it would have a ramp but when he got it, the trailer did not have one. The owner was able to help by letting us use some removable wheel ramps which did work. But we were disappointed that we did not get the trailer promised. It was not the owner of the location's fault.Shawn M.

Customer service at this location was the very poor. I would not recommend this location to another customer. The equipment I rented was in bad condition. The truck battery died overnight and I had to jumpstart the truck in order to be able to use it.Connor D.
Arrived at my requested pick-up time at 7 am. Was told to wait till 9am for the scheduling department to open up to be allowed to get the keys and get going. You know, why send a confirmation if that time isn't available? People plan there days and weeks around this one day to move and 2 hours is a decent chunk of time of wasted daylight. I had a truck reserved for 9a.m. The person didn't even show up to open the business until 9:25. There was no greeting, no welcome so I stated my business that I reserved a truck. I was disrespectfully told to HOLD ON A MINUTE. You see, I was interrupting his coffee and breakfast he picked up on his way to being late for work. Once he got the computer fired up and found my reservation he asked what else I had ordered besides the truck. I said 2 dozen moving blankets/pads, a dolly, a furniture dolly and the insurance coverage. He said well what's an fm or an FD? I said I had no idea and he rolled his eyes and commented under his breath. Finally he got the truck and said for us to meet him outside and he would get the equipment. He went to get the blankets/pads from the shed that had been left open all night in the rain. I said I don't want wet blanket....I'm trying to protect my furniture, not damage it. Fine he said and opened a couple trucks that had been returned and got blankets out of those....there weren't enough so he threw some wet blankets in too. Then he proceeded to talk down to us and say....see how these blankets are folded? They need to be folded EXACTLY like this or I'm charging you $2.00 a blanket. The sign in the truck says please fold the blankets...it doesn't say how EXACTLY they should be folded. The truck had old coffee cups in it, the back had to be swept out before we loaded furniture. I returned it in the same condition it was given. The entire experience was so unprofessional and I actually walked away feeling degraded. I also asked where the key drop off was because I would be returning the truck late at night. He said there are signs...you will find it. WOW What a shame. That business has been in this town as long as I can remember...never did I dream it would be a huge mistake to use this place to rent a u-haul. I will never give them repeat business (unfortunately I have to rent again to finish my move) nor will I recommend it to anyone....I will instead tell them of my experience and they can make their own decision.Rebecca B.
