I received a call telling me that I had to get the truck a another place because the one I reserved was broken. Once I got there, I found the truck but there was no utility dolly in the truck (I reserved one). They couldn't find one. I did the online pick-up. I had to demand my key at the counter. No one was there. It seemed that no one working for U-Haul was there at the moment (during business hours). Someone who was working in the garage aside the U-Haul office told me that he had to call his boss to find the key. Once he called his boss, he told me to look under the truck's driver's seat. The truck was unlocked. I couldn't believe that they left the keys under the driver's seat with the tuck completely unlocked. Overall I lost 25 minutes, trying to find a dolly, someone working for U-Haul and the key. For an online pick-up feature, that's a terrible service.
The mobile app did not work well and I had to call to get instructions on the pick up and then call again to close out the contract after a few attempts to use the app unsuccessfully.
Ensure the client receives information about the pick-up location when ordering on-line, I went to the location closes to home, fortunately the staff at U-Haul was very supportive and help me find the proper location without penalty. Also the 1-800 number didn't work, I call directly to a U-Haul location.
They forgot all the extras I had ordered. No dollys or moving blankets. The truck had old face masks on the seats. When I returned the truck, the drop-key box was almost impossible to find.
It was not a Uhaul branch exactly. Basically, it was a body show that does Uhaul as a side service. If the place can be more professional with someone always at the front door and with some signs that say Uhaul it would be better. The customer service was good himself. The place can be cleaner and more organized

I had the truck 2 hours later.
We asked for 1 furniture Dolly and 1 dozen of covert/blanket and they simply told us they don't have them in store so we had to manage to do our job without them or had to stopped by another Uhaul location to grab some witch doesnt make sens AT ALLA since it's our moving out day and have a jam packed schedule. It's not our job to go and grab some during our fully loaded schedule since it's clearly a professional mistake from them. It was kind of insulting to be honest. We were furious. Oh and we were at the garage around 8:00 since our pick up time was at 8:30 and we were ready to chit-chat and get going by 8:30 and start our day, but no one was there. The guy came in at 8:20 so with all the Â«Â blablaÂ Â» with left around 8:50. The guy was closing his garage at 5 so he told us we needed to finish before that time- if not - our car would have been stuck in his private parking. Never had a problem with the original UHaul warehouse with the check-in and customer service but I will definitely never recommend nor go to a garage no more. Poor service. And a lot of stress for nothing on a big day.
I've made a complaint on the phone channel, and never got a follow-up call or email. I will genuinely never deal with you guys again, and recommend against anybody I know using your services.
Honestly, it was a convenient pickup and drop off. Only problem is that the truck itself didn't really feel comfortable. The cleanliness could've been better inside the truck. There was lots os dust inside and on the dash which tells me that the truck hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Considering the situation that we are living in right now, I would've felt more comfortable knowing that it gets cleaned. There was also some silicone on the part that connects the trailer to the cab which on the highway made it sound like the door was wide open. Not a comfortable drive especially if considering a relatively long distance

Very poor service at this location Max-Autos. Don't speak french or english. Nothing regarding Covid-19 procedure, nothing. THe guy at the reception knows nothing about U-Haul. Don't go there!!!
The truck was not well cleaned out in terms of the cargo area where things are stored, and as well as the front end where the driver is
The truck i took was having its wiper broken. And guess what? Rain started when i was on my way. When i turned on the wipers, & i saw it is broken. I could hardly see anything on the road. I got really scared. It was really horrible experience. Please for the safety of the client, keep these minor bugs fixed. I don't have any other complaint. Just fix the wipers.
It was a pleasure renting from that agent. He was very helpful and informative about options to take to help my move be easier. Friendly agent
This location is not a typical UHaul center, but more like a salvage garage. The environment is messy and dirty. I was not aware of this, and chose this location because it's the closest. A big mistake! First, no one at the reception desk when I arrived. Second, the truck is like twenty years old and never been maintained. Upon return, the guy examined the truck with a picky eye and trying to charge me at every possible chance. I purchased all the insurances and waivers!!! Clearly he couldn't find any cosmetic changes but he was not happy with that. He pointed to the dirt on the loading ramp and charged me $25 cleaning fees. It's not over yet, I drove probably around 10km and the gas level at return was almost the same as when I drove off and I couldn't even notice. Shaking his head, he charged another $18. What a rip-off!! I'm a frequent U-Haul customer, but this is the WORST experience ever!! Stay away at all costs, otherwise you'll regret.
I was charged a surcharge for late checkout . When I dropped the car within my 4 hour time frame - I was told to leave it in the lot - which I did. I wasn't told or I strictes otherwise - and then I see a surcharge on my bill and when I call customer service they say that â€œit's in my contractâ€ which is not fair because no one reads the whole contract . Also the car was dirty when I got it and I have photos - and I didn't mind or complain. Very bad service by head office - agent was combative with me . Will not use Uhaul again.

I showed up at 9 am, which I had scheduled. I called FedEx, they said I can only receive the key at 10 am inside the locale, even though I had signed up for mobile check-in. I got to the locale at 10am, they said they had no keys or any idea of what was happening. I called back FedEx and they reset my scheduling time, so I was able to begin the login process over mobile. From there, at the password level, they again told me to go inside to receive the combination. I tried again, no one knew it, so I had to call back again. I finally received the password, 2 hours after I was supposed to start. Terrible service.
Person doesn't know what he is doing., no idea about laptop/computer handling. Kind of rude attitude
You charged me $50 - more than double the daily rate and insurance of $45, just for the fact maybe 8-10 liters were missing from the tank. All the nearby gas stations had canopies that did not indicate the height and I did not risk damaging the vehicle by gassing up. I expected a penalty - BUT NOT DOUBLE THE ENTIRE CONTRACT! You are an insane ripoff and if you persist in this charge I will never use Uhaul again! Plus this dealer was too lazy to do any deneigement after the last big snowfall and its parking lot was full of thick ice and big craters, making it very dangerous and unfit for use. You charge me this $50, it is the very last $50 or dime UHAUL will ever get from me. SHAME ON YOU!!!
