Let's just say I waited 1hr.and 20mins. because I had to check in on the phone and was passed around to 5 operators before someone correctly got me the code to get the key to the truck that's unacceptable.Bryan P.
The issue I had was not with this location but with the original one I had. I pick the Sunoco at 2360 Pulaski Hwy when I checked in online they changed the site to 2565 Pulaski Hwy at a Valero. When I went to get my rental the guy there didnt know to check me out. Said I was suppose to be there at 230 and person that could left for lunch. Then he called guy and said he wasn't coming back to check me out. Guy called someone else at a 347 number and hands me the phone. The guy on the phone asked for my license number and credit card number. Did not identify himself as U haul rep or nothing. I told him I wasnt giving a stranger my information. He got nasty with me on the phone. I handed the phone back to the clerk and called U haul while going on line. I had to change pick up site. Lost almost 2 hours before I could get a truck. When I finally got through the guy checked on the revised rental and said it was set. He transferred me to a customer service rep who apologized for what happened and said someone would contact me. As of yet, no one has about this experienceChristie B.

There was dog food still in the cabin that also smelled of cigarettes. Also, I ordered a fillet and 2 sets of mats to protect furniture, but they were not actually supplied with the truck. As a result, without the furniture pads all my furniture is damaged and ruined from the moveJoseph S.
No furniture pads were available. I had to wait over an hour past my pick up time because not only was there another truck blocking my rental in, but we were not able to make contact with the owner.David S.
The car was making funny noise and I informed the tenant who told me I will be charged anyway.. I didn't even go a mile I returned the vehicle. I'm so disappointed.Jenneh L.
The truck was absolutely dirty. He tried to charge me 13 dollars for gas. When the truck didn't even have a half of tank of gas in the trunk. Horrible absolutely horrible experience.Arielle R.

This location told us that we could not park our car in their lot when we got there. They said that we could park across the street. We were not told this when we rented the vehicle. They did say that we could park in their neighbors lot which was not appropriate since they had signs posted that the car would be towed. We finally agreed that we could park in their lot, and then they called after we left and said that we had to come back and move the car. Very frustrating!Melissa H.
On 11/2/19, I went to pick up the uhal at the Brookmont location in Newark De. at 3p. The Gentlemen who set up the tranacton was very slow, it took him 20 min to set that up. I returned the truck on the same day at 10p, the guy did not process the paper work indicating that I returned the truck. The customer service is poor at this location.Ann T.

The staff were very polite and friendly. Check in and out was very easy, though uploading the pics of my license on my phone took some time. Perhaps that process could be improved for those who do not have a strong cell signal in certain areas.Matthew L.
I went to the Uhaul dealer in RT40 I. New castle and the guy was very rude and told me he couldn't help me. He asked did I have reservation and I said no, and I ask do I need one and then he said he couldn't help me without explaining and walked away..... lucking I was in a bond or I would never use Uhaul ever again, because of that one person....KELLEY Y.
