We actually reserved our Uhaul at another location in Oshkosh and were never informed that we would need to pick it up at an alternate location...that would have been good information to share with us to avoid us driving to the Ohio Street location that morning only to be told we needs to go to Noltes to pick up the Uhaul.greg V.

The location was closed when we got there to pick up the truck. We received no information on how to find/get the truck. My account online prompted us that someone would be at the location for hand delivery. I spent 30 minutes calling other locations in the city until an employee was able to go into my account and make the necessary changes so we could pick up the truck through the online process, rather than in person. What should have been a simple process, ultimately took 45 minutes to get the truck. I also ordered boxes, and was not told that I had to drive to another location across town to pick them up. I now have to make an additional phone call to get reimbursed for the boxes I didn't receive. Overall, a very poor pick up experience.Jason J.

Horriable, first off this was not the location I reserved the truck from, very upset. Second they did not go over the precheck with me. They just did a quick walk around and said "your good here's the keys". I had to check the lights at different u- hual location, because I had great service from THAT location before, to see if they worked. Will never work with this location again.Christopher J.
The Jackson location was great. Unfortunately, our reservation was at the Ohio street location. When we got there, they didn't have the trailer we reserved. They were totally inept.Nancy B.
We were told the trailer was 6 and 1/2 ft wide and that it would fit our needs. Well the ramp and the trailer opening was only 5 ft wide. We were not able to use the trailer. We wasted money, time, and travel because we were told a false statement. Very disappointed.doris B.

It was actually a frustrating experience for us unfortunately. We got an email saying our truck was GUARENTEED at an Appleton location near us and then we got there only to find out there was not a truck there and had to scramble to figure out what was going on and ended up having to drive an extra half hour out of the way to get a different one. It was hard because we only had a certain amount of time to move things out of our apartment and moving is stressful as is (on top of it I worked night shift that night so that was an extra two hours of sleep I missed out on). Luckily the lady at Nolte's was extremely helpful and helped us get our upgrade and rate adjusted. She definitely went above and beyond and we appreciated her help so much. In the future I would advise not to write GUARENTEED in your emails because that is apparently not true. Or a heads up if there is a possibility of that happening would be nice too..Megan G.

The only thing that I would rate them down for is the communication. I wanted to change our pick up time since we lived in Hortonville and uhaul change my pickup location from Greenville down to Oshkosh, putting extra miles and gas to our trip. But that's fine, I like to spend more money then I have to. My overall crappy experience was with uhaul and not Noltes.Sara C.
The front desk attendant was rude and wasted my time by having an attitude attack because I answered his question honestly about "How is your day so far?" If you don't want an honest answer, don't ask! I find it very interesting that this survey asks only about the pickup location and not about the U-Haul organization itself. You would do well to scrutinize your internal operations as thoroughly as you do your affiliates. It wasn't pretty this morning - 45 minutes on the phone with U-Haul, contact with four front-line agents and one supervisor / manager in two phone calls and nearly thirty minutes of listening to recordings while on hold ... not a single one of these people either focused enough or empowered enough to help me after your organization threw an additional two hours of driving time on to my seven hour day. Thanks so much! I'll be buying a trailer for myself after this horrific experience. You simply are not worth the aggravation. Too bad because I have had multiple good experiences in the past, that's why I kept coming back. But this one was heroically poor and showed me that I was doing business with a company that has no regard for me as a client or my time. Disrespect of this kind goes a long way to not only erase the good experiences, but to alienate me from EVER wanting to do business with you again. You're an embarrassment to your founder, a veteran who understood that SERVICE was a cornerstone to our society. Now your organization has simply become another bunch of money-grubbers.Jeff R.

The people were nice. The problem was the brand new truck, 700 miles, Had trouble starting it once you shut it off and I was still in the parkin g lot. Vehcile was then restarted with their help. I started my trip home and less than 1 mile down the road the engine light came with the anti skid app. on the dash. The transmissions seemed like it was struck in 1st gear. I got it back to the rental place and informed them I was not driving the vehicle. Vehcile was very unsafe. All belongings had to be transfered to anothe truck. I started my trip and it put my trip to Park Forest, Illinois 2 hours behind schedule. Have you ever drove through Chicago rush hour traffic during rush hour traffic, not fun. haveAVE YOU EVERY DROVE THROUGH cHICAGO DURING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC AT I talk to the people in Oshkosk, Wisconsin and they informed me to call customer serviceline for the problem and maybe I could get some type of reimbursement for the inconvenience. Service told me to call the Park Forest location, they Park Forest location told me to call the Oshkosh sice that is where the monies was paid. I did not call the Oshkosh. At this point I was very upset and was tireds of getting the run around. To think I was going to use you next month to move all are belongings to Georgia. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.Robert W.
