The process of registering at the counter is complicated. Not sure why they had to call and confirm an emergency number . After completing the paper work the truck assign to me was not accessible ...another truck was used ...it had only half a gas tank...it's difficult to refill at the same amount...the gas tank should always be filled ...there was no verification of the vehicle for defects...when I brought the vehicle back I parked it where I took it from ...I was then told to drive it to the front door so that they can verify the vehicle ...I thought that was odd ....I had to assist the verification of the vehicle with the person on staff such as head lights turn signals etc ...that should not be my responsibility to test all the components of the vehicle especially when they weren't verified before I left with it ...additional charge for a dolly appeared where they were not part of my rental agreement ...I did not use the rental blankets they were returned not used in the same plastic bag it came from ....I did many estimated cost analyse but the real cost came out more than expected...I rather know upfront what the cost would be ..in this case I would have rented from another company, it would have been far cheaper .The truck should have been ready to roll around 4 pm ...I was the only person being served...it resulted in a 45 min delay...this cause me to use a different route because of increased traffic and adding to my mileage cost significantly...alot of improvements can be made to assist customer service at this location given that it is a major hub for your company

this was brutal, I did not choose the location I was told to go here to pick up my reserved 10ft truck. they did not tell me they did not have any so they just gave me a 26ft. smallest to largest. I said no so they gave me a 15ft. I gave the address of where I wanted to drop off he said don't worry I don't need it I can drop it off at any location. and get my one month free storage. Well no on all of those accounts.I did not get 1 month free storage, the place I went to did not have the return ion the system, I now have had to pay over $ 300 for a 6 week storage unit . I will never use U-Haul again. what a waste of my money I could have hired someone to deliver this for me for less money and hassle.

Clean the cab. Cab was dirty from door to door. Cigarette ashes in cup holder. Smelling of cigarette smoke. Have mirrors properly adjusted.

The first time I rented from Uhaul the employees were very friendly and polite, this last time they were very rude and not helpful at all. Considering I’m a customer who has been renting many times I expect to me treated with respect and polite.

Charging me nearly $40 for what may have been one to two liters less fuel than when I picked up my truck is outrageous. I wish I had taken a picture of the fuel gauge prior to leaving. I left with approximately 1/4 tank and I would absolutely say I returned with approximately 1/4 of a tank. These guys were really splitting hairs. I will be going out of my way to not recommend this location to friends and family.

They need more staff. Mike was fantastic but he was working alone. As well, the interface between online orders and the store is clunky. The agent had to call tech support to give me a refund.

This rating was not a reflection of the people at the site - it was clear that this location was getting up and running and the young man who served me was friendly and knowledgeable. He was also juggling a number of tasks: checking me in, organizing a VERY large on-site inventory, directing staff and, when I dropped the trailer off, he was training a new employee. You need to keep this guy! I rated this site as "average" because it was what I expected, in terms of service and I know that things will smooth out when it is staffed up and they are not working in a construction zone. Perhaps the fact that I was renting on a Sunday was the reason for the staffing situation. Good to have a dedicated U-Haul location in Orleans, rather than having to rely on contract sites, which clearly have rentals as a side-line.

I picked up at Guelph and had to drop off in Ottawa . They didnt give me a nearby location to drop off, I had to drive 30 min to drop off . Customer service is not that helpful

Even with the mobile checkout it took well over an hour to pick up the truck and equipment. Apparently the cargo van requires mandatory insurance yet this is not built into the mobile site. Finally the staff was unable to override my online reservation and the manager was quite unpleasant about this and insisted on a very thorough examination of the van to catch me later if any dents or scratches should occur. Also, the equipment was not automatically assigned and I had to go to the desk to get a parts number assigned. Finally, the kilometric rate is completely unreasonable and a $20 rental cost me $72. This was a very unsatisfactory experience.

This location and it's employees including the manager micheal were excellent. the steering column on the truck was way off and made driving the truck difficult. However my experience with uhaul through the booking system and along with the original reservation made at a location with a dealer down the street who did not even show up to open that day was absolutely horrible. uhaul phone service rep then could not help us in getting what we needed or reserved. we were extremely dissatisfied. we needed a one way to montreal from ottawa. the original pick up location was closed and the main center down the street would not allow us a one way vehicle. they offered us a truck in gatineau a city 45minutes away. We finally were given a truck near us but were obliged to take a return trip vehicle at our own expense on the rental fee and additional fuel required to get it back. not to mention having to leave our personal car to get back home in montreal after which resulted in an extremely long day and over 4 hours wasted in additional travel time. i understand that uhaul likes to get specific trucks in need of repair to montreal. however to send a client on a chase for what they need and requested, and have them deliver a truck which does not fit those needs and requires such repairs to wherever is convenient for the company does not suit the clients whatsoever. it's an insult and not the first time it happens to us. last time i received a much smaller truck than reserved but had no choice at the time and it took me two trips to move all our things between two cities.... I sincerely hope that the company can make better efforts to get people the size of trucks they need and at the price it is offered in proper condition and without such difficulty. until then i will never recommend anyone reserve anything in advance unless it comes guaranteed.

We booked it for conventry and they confirmed they would have it. Upon arrival they sent us to innes and rudely took no responsibility. Upon delivery the next day, they charged us an extra day even though the price had already been established and we were 4 hours before due. All around very poor customer service, 0 cooperation, and dismissive rude attitudes from everyone. Espesically at innes location micheal persea was very rude with my mother and refused to look into the situation even though we let slide the fact that conventry just didnt have our dolly and sent us away with 0 regard.

Very slow onboarding process. The gentleman at the counter was very pleasant however the process for putting customers through was very tideous - I was third in line and took ~45 minutes before I got called up.

I am very disappointed in the service I received at this location. My online rental was scheduled for 10am. I arrived at 940am thinking it would be enough time to pick up my rental. By the time I left the property it was almost 11am. When I arrived there was one customer at the counter being served and two others infront of me. There was only one person at the cash. To be fair, the man at the cash did his best to make things go as quickly as possible. However, he did answer many calls saying "hi uhaul please hold" and never got back to these calls. By the time I got my rental, I got out to it, inspected it and noticed 2 "dings" therefore having to return. Not only that, the vehicle wasn't snowed off properly. When I returned inside there was finally another person on cash. Leaving the property I tried to make the windshield wipers go, the windshield wiper mechanism was broken. Meaning I had to return again. What was most frustrating is the time elasped between being in a line with 3 customers lasting an hour before another associate coming to help on cash. Not only but there was no apology for the wait. This wait caused major delays in the flow of my day. I do understand that the wait times cannot always be controlled however 1h20 from arrival to leaving is uncalled for. I can't say I would recommend this location again unfortunately.

The location is perfect and the people are very pleasant, but this new facility still under renovation still has a lot of work to do on processes. The moving van had been reserved 2 months in advance for "express service". - the truck windshield wipers and rear door were frozen in place from recent freezing rain, and had not been cleared before we got to the truck. We cleared the wipers and a staff member came out to break the door free - the pre-ordered blankets were not in the truck, and then the wrong number were provided 18 vs 24.... only discovered on return - we got away 45 minutes after the scheduled 9am "express check in time", even though we arrived 10 minutes early - there was no-one at the return "wait here in the vehicle" sign, while staff were inside talking with others or having lunch, so we had to go in an find someone - the automated system had no record of the vehicle rental which took place at the same location just 5 hours before, so the return took far longer in the cold howling wind than it needed to. Finally done manually. - Great location, nice people, growing pains, and the pervasive dysfunctional U-haul IT systems. U-haul Arizona should listen to feedback about their IT systems, and overhaul them for improved efficiency and faster customer service.

From the moment I went in the person at the Service Desk looked and acted as if they didn't want to be there (his shirt said "General Manager" and I believe his name was Michael). He was not very happy and his attitude was poor. First he gave me the keys for a truck and told me it was "out by the road" and when I finally found it there was only a quarter tank of gas and it had garbage in it. No sorry or anything...he just gave me the keys to another truck. I was not impressed as I spent over 1/2 an hour through this and I needed to get going. I could go on but I don't feel like it matters. Bottom line ; I WILL NOT BE DEALING WITH THIS LOCATION AGAIN.
